People magazine spokesman Julie Jordan insists Penelope Cruz's boyfriend was an easy choice for this year's list: "He's pretty much the perfect package." It seems Cruz has a talent for picking perfect men - her ex Tom Cruise was named People's Sexiest Man Alive in 1990.

Christina Aguilera and her record executive fiance Jordan Bratman are to wed in Napa Valley, northern California, on Saturday after a lavish two-day party. The pop superstar and her beau have booked out the exclusive Staglin Family Winery estate for the nuptials and plan to make the event a lavish celebration. Aguilera will reportedly wear a gown designed for her by French fashion king Christian Lacroix and she will arrive at the ceremony in a white Rolls Royce Phantom. The couple will stage the rehearsal dinner today at the Auberge Du Soleil resort, where they are staying as they prepare for their big day. The lovers are going to great lengths to keep the ceremony as private As possible - it will be staged in a tent on the edge of a forest. The singer, 24, and her 26-year-old husband-to-be announced Their engagement earlier this year after Bratman presented the pop star with a ring crafted by British jeweler Stephen Webster. Guests attending the wedding have been asked to donate cash to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort, rather than buy presents for the couple.

Rocker Rod Stewart is planning another family celebration after learning his daughter Kimberly Stewart has become engaged for the second time in the space of just a year. The socialite dumped fiancee Cisco Adler at the beginning of 2005 and has since fallen for US reality TV star Talan Torriero. The couple announced their engagement on Wednesday after reportedly dating for two months. Torriero, who, at 19, is seven years younger than his new fiancee, is the star of hit MTV show Laguna Beach. Johnny Depp has vowed to defy any smoking ban imposed in Britain and attacks similar enforcements in his native America. Michael Jackson used the ladies restroom in a Dubai shopping mall because he couldn't read the sign on the door, according to his spokeswoman. The pop superstar was reportedly confronted with a woman who claims she caught him adjusting his make-up in a mirror in the bathroom at the IBN Battuta Mall. The woman - known only as Latifah M - claims she began taking pictures of Jackson on her mobile phone, which she was later forced to delete by mall security guards and Jackson's minders. But his representative Raymone Bain insists the star made a simple mistake because he didn't recognize the Arabic sign on the door and left as soon as he realized where he was. Bain says, "Upon his exit (from the ladies bathroom), he was recognized and a crowd ensued. He had to wait in a nearby bookstore until police arrived to escort him through the crowd." Jackson is currently in Dubai staying with rally driving champion, Mohammed Bin Sulayem - who hopes to convince Jackson to make the emirate his permanent home: "He likes the place and we want him to stay for good here. He likes what he saw and we should try to convince him to buy."

Jennifer Aniston's former boyfriend Tate Donovan is planning to wed fiancee Corinne Kingsbury over Thanksgiving weekend - just weeks after proposing to his sweetheart. The OC star got down on one knee during a romantic trip to Italy last Month and told his girlfriend of 18 months that he wanted to sprint down the aisle. Donovan reveals he knew he had made the right decision to wed entrepreneur Kingsbury when he spotted her cheering him on as he ran in the New York Marathon at the beginning of the month. He says, "As I approached mile 24, I was in severe agony. My fiancee saw what was happening and literally picked me up and ran with me in her flats (shoes) and silk blouse the final two miles." Donovan completed the big race and became the 2,646th person to cross the finish line - out of 37,000 runners.

Leonardo DiCaprio is begging his father to leave his motorbike in his garage after he was knocked off his chopper and nearly killed in a recent accident. The Titanic star rushed to his father George's hospital bed after hearing how he'd cheated death in a crash on November 8 - and now he's urging him to stop riding. A source says, "Leo has been asking his dad to stop riding his bike on the busy streets of Los Angeles." George was knocked unconscious after he was hit from behind by a car. He suffered concussion and several broken ribs.

Shirley MacLaine has blasted Paris Hilton for her determination to grab headlines no matter what. The veteran actress discussed Hilton's stardom during a chat for Interview magazine, during which the Terms Of Endearment star admitted she's sick of the socialite. She fumed, "Paris Hilton just thinks that any publicity is good publicity. What is that...? I like her little dog, I guess." Actor Dennis Quaid has had his 30 year screen career honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk Of Fame. The Traffic and Yours, Mine & Ours star has appeared in more than 40 movies, and joked at the prestigious unveiling ceremony on Wednesday that he'd been around too long. He said, "I remember when this town was a bean field. I've been here 125 years. I started with Charlie Chaplin." Quaid, 51, was joined by 300 friends, relatives and colleagues at the event, including In Good Company co-star Topher Grace.
