Farrell Sues To Block Sex Tape

Irish actor Colin Farrell has filed a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend Nicole Narain, accusing her of trying to distribute and profit from their "intimate" sex tape. According to the Tigerland star's legal papers, filed on Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the 15 minute video was made by Farrell, 29, and model-actress Narain, 31, more than two years ago, with the agreement that they would never release it to the public. Farrell is seeking general and compensatory damages as well as a temporary restraining order and injunction prohibiting the promotion and sale of the tape. In his papers, Farrell accuses Playboy beauty Narain of trying to distribute the tape through an intermediary. He also alleges that Narain has been working with the owner of an internet porn business and contacting the news media about the tape, which his papers claim are an "outrageous attempt to capitalize on the celebrity" of the actor. The lawsuit states that the release of the videotape would irreparably harm Farrell's reputation and career, and he is demanding that all copies of the tape be returned to him.
Miller Takes Time Out from Stage Role

Heartbroken actress Sienna Miller is taking time out from her run in London's West End, following her fiance Jude Law's confessed to cheated on her with his children's nanny. The Alfie beauty courageously appeared on stage at the Wyndham's Theatre's production of As You Like It on Monday night, giving a sterling performance as Celia - but she broke down in tears at the end of the show when audience members showed their support for her. A notice outside the theatre yesterday informed ticket holders that Miller would be replaced by her understudy Denise Gough, and the show's producers have no idea when she will return. Director David Lan explains Miller's break from performing, "One of the reasons is that she's had rather a rough time with her private life being under such scrutiny." Following extensive media reports, Law released a statement on Monday apologizing to Miller for having an affair with Daisy Wright, 26, three months into their seven-month engagement. A friend tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "She can't face the world. The full implications of Jude's betrayal have now hit home. She's in bits. It's like there's been a death in the family."
Experts Declare Diaz Signature Was Forged

Two forensic experts testified in Cameron Diaz's court battle on Monday that a signature on a model release form for topless photos of the actress appear to be forged. Photographer John Rutter is accused of trying to blackmail Diaz over the pictures he took in 1992 and attempting to sell back to her in 2003 for $3.5 million, before the release of her film Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. Forensic document examiner Bruce Greenwood testified on Monday that the signature on the release form appeared to be forged, after analyzing Diaz's handwriting. He also said the signature on a publicity snapshot of Diaz and Keanu Reeves, who co-starred in Feeling Minnesota, was a fake. Greenwood said he noted certain letters in Diaz's name were "slanted completely different" from the handwriting samples that he had received from her. Forensic expert George Reis also said Diaz's signature was forged and that it appeared the publicity photograph was used to make the forgery. Rutter, 42, is charged with attempted grand theft for the alleged blackmail scheme, forgery for the signature on the form and perjury for declaring in a separate civil case that the signature was authentic. If convicted, he could face up to six years in prison. An extortion charge has been dropped.
Polanski Sought Solace in Sex After Tate's Murder

Troubled director Roman Polanski testified at his London libel case on Monday that he had sex with a catalogue of "fresh-faced, nubile" teenagers, just four months after his wife Sharon Tate was murdered by followers of serial killer Charles Manson. The Rosemary's Baby maverick is suing publisher Conde Nast, over a Vanity Fair article, in which he's accused of propositioning a woman on the way to the funeral of his actress wife in 1969, with the promise he'd make her "the next Sharon Tate". The 71-year-old gave evidence from France via video link to avoid extradition to America, where he's wanted for questioning on child sex charges dating back to 1977. The prosecution suggested Polanski had a penchant for young ladies, and such an uncontrollable libido, he seduced a string of women less than a month after the death of Tate, who was eight month's pregnant. But the Polish film-maker told jurors he took solace in sex following Tate's death, and seduced numerous teenagers from a finishing school in Gstaad, Switzerland, as well as an air hostess and Mamas And Papas singer Michelle Phillips, who was still married to bandmate John Phillips at the time. He told the court, "The death of Sharon and the whole tragedy was a measurable shock to me and at such moments some people turn to drugs, others to alcohol, some go to a monastery. But for me, it was sex. I looked for solace and tried to forget."
Farrow Defends Polanski in Court
Mia Farrow told a London court yesterday Roman Polanski was in "really bad shape" when he was alleged to have tried to seduce a woman in a restaurant just days after his wife Sharon Tate was murdered. Polanski is suing Vanity Fair magazine, after they alleged in a 2002 article he pursued a "Swedish beauty" at Elaine's restaurant in New York in 1969 - even though they later conceded the alleged event took place several weeks after Tate was buried. Farrow - who starred in Polanski's 1968 movie Rosemary's Baby - told the court, "He was in really bad shape at that time. He was unable to talk about anything else. When we walked around and around, he kept saying 'Why?' and 'Who could have done this?"' When quizzed by Vanity Fair's lawyer about Polanski's admission he had casual sex with several women after Tate's death, Farrow replied, "I feel there's a big distinction, especially for a man, between relationships and having sex. I could never pass judgment if someone in that frame of mind seeks comfort in any way that does not harm anyone." Polanski has been giving evidence via video link from his home in Paris, because he is wanted in America after pleading guilty to having sex with a 13-year-old girl there in 1977. If he steps foot on British soil he risks extradition.
Emmys Expert: "Housewives Were Snubbed Because They're Floozies"
Eva Longoria and Nicolette Sheridan were snubbed by Emmy Awards judges because they play loose women on Desperate Housewives, according to US awards buff Tom O'Neil. O'Neil, who runs entertainment industry website GoldDerby.com, insists the Emmys panel often ignore "floozie" characters in hit shows because they're prudish. And he's certain that's why Sheridan and Longoria were left off the list this year. He says, "All three of the other Housewives got nominated. The two who got slapped have one thing in common - they play hip-wiggling tarts with loosey-goosey morals. Emmy voters may be regarded as typical Hollywood hedonists, but, in fact, they're older TV industry veterans who can often act like prudish snobs. Look at Heather Locklear, who was nominated six times for Golden Globes, but never earned a bid at the Emmys for Melrose Place or Spin City. And the only cast member of Frasier who was never nominated was Peri Gilpin, whose character, Roz, was accused of bedding everyone at Frasier's radio station."
Anderson To Marry Tommy Lee Again?
Pamela Anderson will reportedly marry rocker Tommy Lee this week - for the third time. The pair tied the knot on a beach just days after they met in 1995. They remarried shortly after, wearing space suits - and went on to have two sons together, but divorced in 1998. Anderson has since been linked to a number of suitors - she got engaged to Kid Rock and was recently linked to actor Stephen Dorff. But she has reportedly fallen for Lee again and he proposed on Friday in Las Vegas, claims PageSix.com - with Anderson telling friends the wedding would take place "this week". A source tells the website, "He got her a black diamond with two gray diamonds on the side. After she said yes, they flew on the Palm's private jet back to L.A. - but they crossed out the 'l' on the side of the jet so it said 'Pam's'."
Fans Throw Baby Shower for Garner and Affleck

Actress Jennifer Garner's hometown of Charleston, West Virginia, threw a massive baby shower for the mother-to-be and husband Ben Affleck - but the couple won't receive any of the gifts. Hundreds of present-bearing fans attended a West Virginia Power minor league baseball game last week for the "Jen and Ben Baby Shower Night." Fans bearing the same first name as the pregnant actress and those who donated a gift were admitted free. But the gifts are not for the newly wed Daredevil co-stars, they are to be donated to the baby pantry for Starting Points, a non-profit group serving children and the families of children under the age of eight. Garner and Affleck did not attend.
Swank and Costner To Narrate 9/11 Film

Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank is teaming up with Kevin Costner to narrate the upcoming film On Native Soil: The Documentary Of The 9/11 Commission Report. The silver screen stars will share voice-over duties for the film, which focuses on the horrific September 11 terror attacks on New York City. Swank says in a statement, "I was in lower Manhattan that horrible day... I was drawn to the project by the amazing stories of the 9/11 families and survivors featured in the film, and I am proud that by contributing my voice to the project, I can help their voices to be heard." Costner adds, "I saw this film in a rough cut and wanted to become involved. It's honest, it's serious and it's not political. This film tells stories every American will and should want to know."
Kidman Ditched From Fleiss Movie
Nicole Kidman has reportedly been ditched from a movie about the life of Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss because she's too old. The Oscar-winner was interested in playing the notorious Fleiss, who boasted of a vast string of celebrity clients - but the former prostitute claims producers have opted for Hilary Swank instead. She tells gossip site The Scoop, "It had something to do with age. She'd have to play a 22-year-old, and she's nearly forty. I think she's amazing and could play a 22-year-old or whatever she wanted, but they said 'How about Hilary Swank' and I said, great, fine, whoever. I would have said great, fine, whoever, if they had said Roseanne Barr. I stopped paying attention because I'm focusing on my future, not my past." Kidman's spokesperson, however, insists the actress pulled out of the movie: "At some point a long time ago Nicole had expressed some interest in it. But she was never attached to it and is no longer even considering it."
