Bullock Marries Jesse James

Hollywood beauty Sandra Bullock married American TV star Jesse James on Saturday. Several hundred guests including Jamie Lee Curtis, William Shatner and Regina King attended the ceremony held at a rented Californian ranch near Santa Barbara, according the Us TV show Entertainment Tonight and People magazine. Bullock and James, who hosts Monster Garage on the Discovery Channel, arrived in a red monster truck, while many guests were unaware they were attending a wedding until the last minute - they were told it was a party to celebrate Bullock's 41st birthday. James presented his new wife with a vintage ring made by Neil Lane while Bullock made her husband a unique steel band. Premature media reports suggested the Speed actress wed James on Friday after photographs of a series marquees erected at the ranch were published. However, Bullock claimed the celebration was being held to mark her 41st birthday - even though her special day isn't until July 26 - but her claim was a smokescreen to hide her imminent nuptials from the media's attention. This is the first time Bullock has been married despite an engagement to actor Tate Donovan and a romance with Matthew McConaughey, while James, 35, has been married twice before and has three children with his ex-wives.

Schwarzenegger Drops Controversial Magazine Deal

Arnold Schwarzenegger has ditched a multi-million-dollar magazine contract after he came under fire for his staggering yearly salary of $1 million. The Terminator star announced last year he had agreed to serve as executive editor for Muscle And Fitness and Flex magazines just before he was sworn into office as California Governor. Critics slammed the actor last week after the size of his consultation fees came to light - they argued the contract is a conflict of interest because his pay comes from advertising revenue and the magazines often feature advertisements about dietary supplements. However, Schwarzenegger's spokesman has disputed the argument, because the governor was not involved with selling advertising for the publications. The former action star says in a statement: "When I became governor I pledged to put the people of California front and center. I don't want there to be any question or doubt that the people have my full devotion. Therefore, effective today I will relinquish my title as executive editor and forego any compensation from the magazines. I will continue to promote weight resistance training, health and fitness for all through any avenue that is available to me as I have done my entire life."

Diaz: "I Loved My Breasts in Photo Shoot"

Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz told Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday she is proud of the way her breasts looked in the infamous 1992 John Rutter photo shoot. The Charlie's Angels star, who accuses Rutter of attempting to sell the revealing images back to her for $3.3 million in 2003, may have "felt violated" by the photographer's alleged bid to extort money, but she was thrilled with the way the snaps came out. She said, "The photos themselves were not offensive to me. I thought my boobs looked good - at least I had that going for me. I didn't think of it as pornographic. I was 19 and exploring the possibilities of my body. I wasn't ashamed of it." Rutter, 42, denies the charges of forging Diaz's signature on a release form and attempted grand theft. If convicted, he could face up to six years in prison.

Polanski To Testify Via Video

Troubled director Roman Polanski will give evidence from France via video link for his libel case in London next week to avoid extradition to America, where he's wanted on child sex charges. The Rosemary's Baby maverick fled the US over 25 years ago after admitting to having sex with girl of 13, but although he's protected from extradition in France, the same cover does not apply in the UK. And the 71-year-old is suing publisher Conde Nast, over a Vanity Fair magazine article, in which he's accused of propositioning a woman on the way to the funeral of his late wife Sharon Tate, who was murdered by followers of Charles Manson in 1969. Actress Mia Farrow was present at New York restaurant Elaine's, where the alleged incident took place, and will join Sharon's sister Debra Tate at the witness stand.

Farrell in Sex Tape Claim

Movie hunk Colin Farrell has been accused of making a raunchy sex tape with his former girlfriend, Playboy model Nicole Narain. A member of the public, who refers to himself as JJ, contacted gossip website PageSix.com claiming he'd obtained the pornographic home movie but could do nothing with it until its stars have signed release forms. JJ alleges the tape begins with Narain in the nude in her living room switching on some music, and supposedly concludes with the camera focusing on her white cat, with Farrell saying, "Baby, you have the most beautiful (p***y)." The video also reportedly features Farrell and Narain trying out various saucy Kama Sutra positions, with the actor saying, "I could do this breakfast, lunch and dinner." Showbiz website Defamer.com says, "The sellers are supposedly looking for a seven-figure up front fee to hand over the tape for release by a distributor. Even if someone was willing to pony up the money, they couldn't release it without Farrell's permission."

New Romance for Bean

The Lord Of The Rings star Sean Bean is enjoying a whirlwind romance with a budding actress 19 years his junior - and they are already planning a family. The 46-year-old screen hunk first met Georgina Sutcliffe, 27, at an exclusive bar in Soho, London where she worked - and their love has been getting stronger by the day. A friend of the star tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "It's been a real whirlwind but they are very happy with each other. They met at a bar in Soho and have been together ever since. She's also been on the sets of his latest projects. The age difference doesn't bother them in the least and there's even been talk about them having children in the future."

Jolie Hits Back at "Grandmother" Reports

Angelina Jolie has hit back at reports her newly adopted daughter Zahara Marley was taken from her grandmother - she insists the woman has fabricated the story. The Tomb Raider beauty, who adopted the six-month-old baby in Ethiopia earlier this month, was infuriated by a recent tabloid report which showed a photograph of a woman identified as the child's grandmother. Almaz Blfnhe, 45, has told how she had toiled to care for the baby for four months after her daughter Mentewabe died from complications in childbirth, but eventually accepted she was too poor to look after her. But in a statement given to People magazine, Wild Horizons For Children, the organization through which Jolie adopted the baby, say, "The photo is not the woman who they claim it is and the quotes are fabricated." Zahara has no living siblings, according to sources. Her father is unknown, and it is assumed that her mother died of AIDS a month after Zahara was born.

Nanny: "Law Begged To See Me Again"

The British nanny who claims she enjoyed an affair with heart-throb actor Jude Law insists the Alfie star phoned her last week in a bid to rekindle their romance. Law, who is engaged to screen beauty Sienna Miller, allegedly seduced 26-year-old Daisy Wright while he was filming movie All The King's Men in America earlier this year. Wright insists she enjoyed a month-long fling with the 32-year-old until she was sacked by Law's ex-wife Sadie Frost, after one of their children spoke out about catching the clandestine lovers in bed. She alleges Law called her last week in a bid to rekindle their steamy relationship - but Wright still felt hurt by her dismissal from the job she loved and turned down his advances. Wright tells British newspaper The Sun, "Jude really swept me off my feet. I fell for him. Now I realize he was just using me for sex. I was really shocked when he phoned me last Thursday and said he wanted to see me again. I told him I thought it was unfair that I had ended up losing my job over it. He said Sadie was in charge of childcare arrangements... He was begging to see me again. He said he desperately needed to show me that our relationship wasn't just about sex. But how could I trust him again after he cast me aside so easily before."

Wilson's Wife Search

Hollywood star Owen Wilson is searching for a wife - because he's finally ready to settle down and start a family. The 36-year-old actor - who previously dated rocker Sheryl Crow - is confident his well-rehearsed dating techniques will speed up his quest for his perfect woman. He explains, "My best dating tip - pretend to be a good listener. Express an interest in movies like Mystic Pizza, Steel Magnolias and Ghost. Be romantic like with candlelit dinners by the fireplace - stuff that girls like. Who knows? One day maybe I'll be lucky enough to meet a great girl and get married and start a family."

Rowling Makes $36 Million in a Day

Harry Potter author JK Rowling has added another $36 million to her fortune - only 24 hours after the sixth book of the boy wizard series went on sale. Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince hit the shelves at one minute past midnight on Saturday to queues of ecstatic fans, and has already sold two million copies by closing time yesterday. When the last book, Harry PotterAnd The Order Of The Phoenix, was released in 2003, the rags-to-riches British author sold 1.7 million copies in the UK and 7 million in the US. But her latest magical adventure is predicted to exceed all previous records, with publishing experts expecting worldwide sales in excess of 10 million. An insider says, "All estimates are that this book will be even bigger than the last one. I think we should expect 2 million sales in Britain on the day of publication."
