Aniston Getting Close to Vaughn?

Rumors Jennifer Aniston is dating Vince Vaughn have surfaced again after the Hollywood stars were photographed hugging each other on the set of upcoming movie The Break Up. The former Friends beauty has been concentrating on her acting career since her split from Brad Pitt earlier this year - but pictures publishing in British newspapers show the co-stars touching each other in a way which suggests they are more than friends. In one snap published in the Daily Express Vaughn has both of his arms wrapped around Aniston, while she has both of her hands resting on his thigh. A movie insider tells the Daily Express, "They looked to be really enjoying each other's company. They were laughing and smiling and were very tactile together. There was definitely some chemistry between them." Vaughn recently made a cameo appearance alongside Pitt and Angelina Jolie - who are rumored to be enjoying a romance - in Doug Liman's box office smash Mr. And Mrs. Smith.

Hermes Bosses Apologize to Oprah

Bosses at Paris, France's Hermes store have been forced to apologize to talk show queen Oprah Winfrey after refusing to let her into their posh store last week. Winfrey was turned away when she turned up at the shop to buy a gift for pal Tina Turner, because staff were taking part in an after-hours public relations event inside. In a statement released yesterday, Hermes bosses said, "Hermes regrets not having been able to accommodate Ms. Winfrey and her team and to provide her with the service and care that Hermes strives to provide to each and every one of its customers worldwide. Hermes apologizes for any offence taken, due to such circumstances."

Gibson Stalker Gets Maximum Sentence

A man convicted of stalking Mel Gibson was sentenced to three years in prison yesterday - the maximum punishment allowed under Californian law. The Braveheart star was not present at Van Nuys, California, court when Zack Sinclair received his sentence from Superior Court Judge John S. Fisher. Sinclair, who began trying to make contact with Gibson after the release of the star's controversial movie The Passion Of The Christ, was convicted of one felony stalking count on March 4. Authorities say Sinclair showed up at Gibson's Malibu, California property at least four times last year, and once at the church where he star worships. Fisher also recommended Sinclair undergo psychological treatment while in prison.

De Niro Nanny Charged with Jewelry Thefts

Robert De Niro's child minder Lucyna Turyk-Wawrynowicz has been charged with stealing jewelry from the actor and his wife Grace Hightower. The 35-year-old Polish nanny, who has cared for the offspring of some of New York's most famous families, was arrested for allegedly stealing $500,000 worth of jewelry, shoes, clothing and cash from various customers over the course of several years. Police believe the De Niros are Turyk-Wawrynowicz's most recent victims. The nanny has been charged with several counts of theft and criminal possession of property. A spokesman for the New York Police Department says, "Grace Hightower called the police and reported that some earrings that were very valuable were missing from her home. That led to an investigation and eventually Ms. Turyk-Wawrynowicz was arrested at 8pm on Monday."

Stone Hits Back at Claims She Left Her Son in a Hot Car

Oscar-nominated Casino star Sharon Stone has hit back at claims she left her young son in a car while she dined at a London restaurant. The actress caused uproar when a British newspaper claimed she left five-year-old Roan in the care of her chauffeur, in sweltering heat while she ate at The Ivy on Sunday. But Stone insists she was separated from the boy for no more than two minutes, and not the two hours as was claimed. Her representative tells the New York Daily News, "Roan did come into the restaurant, but Sharon had someone bring him out to the car before her, to avoid paparazzi."

DiCaprio To Become a Father?

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is desperate to start a family with boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio - and is trying to convince the actor it's time to start a family. Asked at Brazil's recent fashion week what she wanted for her 25th birthday next month, Gisele let slip her future plans for her relationship with the Gangs Of New York star. And although she didn't mention her five-year superstar boyfriend by name, the message was clear when she told website The Scoop, "I want a baby. My life dream is to have a baby, but it's not only up to me, it's up to the father too. I don't know anything though, I wish I had a crystal ball."

Clooney Splits with Long-Term Love

George Clooney has ended on his on-off relationship with English model/TV presenter Lisa Snowdon, because it has "nowhere to go". The Ocean's Twelve star had been dating Snowdon sporadically for the last five years, but the pair split two weeks ago after deciding their trans-Atlantic love affair was taking it's toll. After discussing the move over the phone, they both insist the break-up was entirely amicable, and simply blame Clooney's "tendency to be a workaholic" and Snowdon's refusal to leave Britain. A Hollywood source says, "It's always difficult to maintain a long-distance relationship. But they have remained great friends and there is no animosity between them." The heart-throb's reluctance to commit to marriage plans can't have helped matters, recently revealing he doesn't believe he has any "moral obligation" to settle down and have a family. He said in an interview, "I've been too busy to give enough of my personal time to take care of a woman, raise children and be a decent father."

Mary Tyler Moore Makes Stem Cell Appeal

Veteran actress Mary Tyler Moore has made an emotional appeal for US senators to vote in favor of stem cell research for the benefit of those stricken with diabetes. The screen star visited Washington, DC, on Tuesday and, in her capacity as a chairperson of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, spoke before a Senate committee calling on them to pass legislation to ease restrictions on stem cell research that many hope will one day lead to a cure for the disease. As her voice trembled with emotion, she said, "As the Senate debates and votes on this stem cell bill, I ask you to remember us. Remember the stories we tell about injections and blood tests, about seizures and blindness and kidney failure and heart attacks, amputations and strokes." The 68-year-old actress was diagnosed with diabetes 40 years ago.

Janney Considers Marrying Beau in Her Garden Bar

The West Wing star Allison Janney is considering marrying her fiance Richard Jenik in a tiki bar she's had built in her back garden - because she can't find anywhere else to do it. More than a year ago, Janney announced her engagement to her beau, but admits that schedules and other commitments have obstructed her efforts to find the perfect place to wed - so she's considering using her home's palapa (an open-sided structure thatched with palm leaves). She says, "We've been thinking about getting married at the palapa 'cause it's so festive and fun... We've been having a hard time finding the place, with the West Wing schedule and my movie schedule and trying to find a location." And Janney guarantees that once she and Jenik host their family and friends in their hillside open-sided dwelling, they'll all want one of the thatched roof constructions on their properties. She adds, "It's one of those things that you don't know you need until you have it. And now everyone who's gonna come to my house is gonna say, 'Oh my God, I need a palapa!' Everyone needs one."

Brown Takes Shots at Celebrities

R&B pioneer Bobby Brown is taking revenge in his upcoming reality show - by making a number of crude jokes about other celebrities. The singer, whose troubles with drug abuse and legal woes have made him a target for comedians, cracks jokes about Eddie Murphy wearing dresses in his downtime during the first episode of Being Bobby Brown, and he makes no apologies for it. He tells Newsweek, "I didn't censor myself at all while the cameras were on because that wouldn't be real. I don't mean anybody harm, but I've spent most of my career being the butt of somebody's joke, so I don't have too much concern about somebody's feelings getting hurt. If you can't take a joke, then you need to go somewhere and die - and definitely get out of this business." The show is set to debut on US TV on June 30.
