Cruise Mocks His Oprah Moment

Tom Cruise expressed his love for new girlfriend Katie Holmes once again Wednesday night, by repeating the couch-jumping antics he displayed on Oprah Winfrey's chat show. Last month , Cruise, 42, stunned fans when he celebrated his new romance with 26-year-old Holmes by leaping up and down on Winfrey's couch, repeatedly shouting that he was "in love". And while the incident made Cruise the target of mockery at the hands of numerous comedians, the Mission: Impossible star poked fun at himself when he appeared on Jay Leno's Tonight Show, telling the funnyman, "When I start to think about her, things happen. So, cease talking." The audience then whooped with delight as Cruise climbed up on Leno's couch and stood on it, victoriously raising both hands into the air. After Leno admitted Cruise's behavior was at the "silliest" he'd ever seen, the actor added, "It's a thing that I wish for everyone. I like hearing good news and I like hearing about people when they're happy... She's a terrific lady and great lady." And Holmes is "proud" of her beau's latest antics, cooing Thursday morning, "I'm so happy. I watched Leno last night and I was, like, blushing and so happy and excited. I'm so proud. I love him. I love his outfit, too!"

Crowe: "I Hate Being Away From My Family"

Russell Crowe blames his altercation with a hotel night porter on Monday on the "loneliness" of being away from his family for the first time. The Gladiator star lost his temper with Nestor Estrada at New York City's Mercer Hotel, after Estrada reportedly failed to connect Crowe's phone call to his family in Australia. He threw his room's telephone against a wall which police say inflicted minor injuries on Estrada's face in the process. And during an interview with comedian David Letterman Wednesday night, Crowe admitted that being away from his wife Danielle and their 17-month-old son Charlie was tough. The actor, who is away from Australia promoting his new movie Cinderella Man, said, "I was in Manchester, England. I flew there on Friday and I flew back to New York on Sunday. I've just got to cut myself some slack. I'm just getting used to being a husband and a father away from home and that's a level of abject loneliness I'm just not used to at all... As my wife says, that's not really much of an excuse because millions of fathers and husbands travel for business all the time. I'm just new at it. Actually, quite frankly, I hope I never get used to it. I don't want to be away from my family like this." Crowe has been charged with second degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He has been ordered to return to court in September.

Timberlake and Diaz Settle with Photographers

Justin Timberlake and his girlfriend Cameron Diaz have reached an undisclosed settlement with two photographers who accused the stars of harassing them. Saul Lazo and Jose Gonzalez alleged that the couple taunted and threatened them before Diaz beat Lazo and took his camera. The alleged attack was caught on camera by another snapper, who sold his pictures to American magazine Us Weekly. Diaz later handed Lazo's camera over to police, insisting she only took it so she could find out who the snapper was. The photographers blasted allegations from Diaz and Timberlake's publicists that they harassed the couple and jumped out of bushes on them in a bid to stir up an angry reaction, insisting they stood more than 10 feet away from them on public property the whole time. The photographers claim they suffered emotional distress and physical harm. Representatives for Timberlake and Diaz have yet to comment.

Hatcher: "I Cried After Vanity Fair Photo Shoot"

Teri Hatcher went home and cried after the Desperate Housewives' infamous photo shoot for the May issue of Vanity Fair magazine. In April, writer Ned Zeman claimed there was a disagreement over Hatcher's position in the shoot, saying, "Teri Hatcher absolutely was not to be in the centre of the women. There had been some tension on the set over who's getting the awards and who's getting most of the magazine covers - that would be Teri Hatcher." Zeman claimed redhead Marcia Cross had been screaming at the ABC publicity team over the way the shoot was going, leading to speculation Cross and Hatcher did not get on. However, Hatcher explains, "Honestly I don't recall crying (during the shoot) - it would've screwed up my make-up. I'm pretty sure I cried when I left... feeling hurt and maybe picked on. I really care about all the girls. Nobody wants to work that way. There are lots of reasons someone behaves how they do." Hatcher also takes the opportunity to slam the media's sexist reporting, for alleging female co-stars never get on. She says, "I bet there was a day on ER when Anthony Edwards went, 'Why's George Clooney getting that scene?' but I don't know that anybody wrote it."

Halle Back with Ex?

Halle Berry is reportedly back in the arms of Barbershop star Michael Ealy after admitting she's changed her mind about marriage. Just last year, the Oscar-winner insisted she'd never wed again after two failed unions with Eric Benet and baseball star David Justice - but then she fell for Their Eyes Were Watching God co-star Ealy. Friends tell tabloid the National Enquirer the couple split earlier this year after Berry insisted she'd never marry Ealy. But now she's changed her mind. A source says, "Halle and Michael got back together in late April intent on working out their problems... In the end true love has won out for Halle and Michael."

Jackson's Latest Hospital Visit

Troubled popstar Michael Jackson has returned home from yet another emergency hospital visit in the early hours of Thursday morning after being plagued with acute back pain. The Thriller star's spokeswoman Raymone Bain released a statement to say Jackson attended the Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital - near his California Neverland Ranch - for "routine treatment" late Wednesday night. The ailing singer, 46, made five visits to the hospital, the most recent being Sunday during his four-month child abuse trial, and has made another two since jurors began their deliberations. Jackson has pleaded not guilty to charges of child molestation, administering an intoxicating agent and conspiracy involving allegations of child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion.

Hannah Sued by Top PR Firm

Kill Bill star Daryl Hannah is being sued by her former public relations firm, for non-payment of services. Bosses at Los Angeles' agency Rogers & Cowan claim they're partly responsible for the actress' recent movie comeback - but they haven't been paid for their efforts to put her back in the spotlight. In legal papers, obtained by US news show Celebrity Justice, the PR firm's lawyers claim they entered into an agreement with Hannah to promote her just before Kill Bill Vol. 1 was released. The two parties agreed a fee of $3,000-per-month plus expenses, but the PR company's bosses claim they were never paid. In the legal papers, they state they sent Hannah a bill for $64,000 but were paid just $7,000. But Hannah's manager insists his client only agreed to pay Rogers & Cowan for the months where she used their services, and she always paid up.

Letterman Probes Davis on Nixon's Sexuality

Actress Kristin Davis faced a tough line of questioning during a visit to David Letterman's chat show on Wednesday night, when she was quizzed about pal Cynthia Nixon's lesbian relationship. Davis appeared on the show to promote her new movie The Adventures Of Shark Boy & Lava Girl In 3-D, but within minutes of taking a seat, Letterman grilled her about Nixon's romance with Christine Marinoni. When Letterman enquired if Nixon is a lesbian or if she's "just visiting", Davis answered, "I don't personally know but I think she says that she doesn't need a label. Doesn't need one, isn't concerned about it..." The funnyman also raised a laugh when he asked if Danny Mozes, the father of Nixon's two children, "turned" also, before admitting of Nixon's romance, "In a way, it's kind of hot." While Davis is heterosexual, she informed Letterman she would "never say never" to the idea of one day having a relationship with a woman herself.

Brody Offers Cash To Anyone Who Finds His Acne Ad

The OC star Adam Brody is offering $100 to anybody who can find a TV commercial he starred in for an acne treatment product. The 25-year-old actor appeared in the ad before hitting success on his television show, and he's desperate to track down a copy of it, as he's never seen it. He says, "My first commercial was for a medication grade acne (treatment)... they had to put me in like two hours of make-up... I've never seen it, but my friends have seen it. They did a 'before' and 'after' in the commercial and I started out with a lot of acne. And then they go to 'after' and I was like, 'Well at least the audience will know that I really don't have huge boils on my face because we'll clean it off.' And they were like, 'Well, actually not so, buddy, because you'd have tons of acne scars.' So then (in my 'after' scene) I hug my mom and I'm all like pock-marked. That's in existence somewhere and $100 to whoever finds it! I've never seen it."

Corin Redgrave "Critical, But Stable"

Actor Corin Redgrave is in a critical, but stable condition in an English hospital after collapsing from a heart attack - just minutes after announcing he is suffering from cancer. The 65-year-old theatre stalwart-turned-political campaigner was protesting on behalf of a controversial travelers site in Basildon, Essex when he was struck down with the coronary attack on Wednesday. Redgrave, who has been receiving treatment for cancer at the Royal Marsden hospital in London, was rushed to Basildon Hospital after police officers restarted his heart. A spokesman says, "He is in a critical but stable condition. His family thank all who helped him."
