Slater's Alleged Victim Accuses Him of Bullying Tactics

Christian Slater's alleged sexual assault victim is pursuing her legal action against the actor because he angrily ordered her not to press charges, instead of apologizing. The True Romance star was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly feeling the 52-year-old drug counselor's bottom, while intoxicated in Manhattan, New York. Slater was booked on two sexual misconduct charges and released from police custody. He's due to appear in court again on June 14. But the unnamed woman refuses to drop the charges, because she was disgusted by Slater's attitude after the assault. She tells America's Fox TV, "He didn't even say sorry. Instead, he said 'Drop it'. But nobody has the right to do this. That's why I'm pursuing it." But Slater is determined to fight the charges and plans to sue police who arrested him. The incident is not expected to effect Slater's current run in hit Broadway, New York play The Glass Menagerie.

Crowe Hits Back at Co-Star Bierko

Russell Crowe has slammed his Cinderella Man co-star Craig Bierko for claiming he deliberately blanked him on the Canadian set of the boxing movie. Bierko, who plays German fighter Max Baer in the new film, recently voiced his surprise that he hardly knows Crowe, despite working alongside him for a month. He said, "I don't know him from Adam. There was literally not a single moment where I felt like we were actually bonding, or having a conversation." But Crowe blames the distance between them on the quality of Bierko's acting. He says, "Craig Bierko has an imagination. His recollection of the experience is significantly different from anyone else's. I spent my 40th birthday party on a satellite connection with my wife and child in Australia. Sorry I didn't invite Craig. I didn't think it was relevant. The fact is, he hadn't done enough work and he had to be drilled and drilled, and brought up to where we needed him to be - because if Max Baer isn't frightening and isn't capable, then we don't have much of a movie. Craig has never been in this kind of situation before. It has never been required of him to put this much work and this much of himself into a role. He didn't realize what he was getting into... He realized afterwards."

Moore and Kutcher Laugh Off "Marriage" Reports

Hollywood couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have laughed off internet reports they married in Florida on Saturday. Website Liquidgeneration.Com reported the A Few Good Men actress and her toyboy lover wed at a friend's mansion in Ponte Vedra Beach, with 250 guests in attendance. However, representatives for the glamorous pair insist they remain unmarried and spent the weekend in their Idaho home. Kutcher and Moore began dating in May 2003, soon after the hunk split from his Just Married co-star Brittany Murphy.

Halle Still Thinking About Playboy Pose

Halle Berry once promised to fulfill longtime Playboy picture editor Marilyn Grabowski's dream and bare all for the men's magazine. The actress was an aspiring superstar 10 years ago when she agreed to meet with Grabowski after she was made an attractive offer to pose for Hugh Hefner's publication. Grabowski, who discovered Pamela Anderson and Anna Nicole Smith among others, recalls, "Halle Berry, I had dinner with 10 years ago and she said, 'When I've got the right film, I'll do it.' She wanted to (do it) but I haven't heard from her in the last couple of years." Grabowski reveals the magazine also approached Britney Spears, but she wanted a "ridiculous" amount of money to disrobe: "It was too much, let's put it that way."

Vaughn Quits 'X-Men 3'

British director Matthew Vaughn has quit the third X-Men movie because of "personal" problems. The Layer Cake film-maker, who is married to supermodel Claudia Schiffer, has urgently flown back from Hollywood to his home in London - leaving the movie's pre-production in chaos. X-Men 3, the second sequel to the smash 2000 comic book adaptation, was Vaughn's first big-budget studio project and he is devastated he's been forced to abandon the project Producer Avi Arad says, "This is not a case of creative differences. This is a personal decision by Matthew, and I can tell you that he is heartbroken. He loved this material, and he wanted to make this film." Comic Marvel and studio Fox are expected to make an announcement in the next few days regarding a replacement director, but filming - which was set to start in early July - looks set to be delayed.

Latsis Asked Parents for Hilton's Hand in Marriage

Paris Hilton's parents Rick and Kathy were delighted when their daughter's fiance Paris Latsis asked them for the socialite's hand in marriage. The Greek shipping heir asked the millionaire couple's permission before getting down on one knee to propose The Simple Life reality TV star Paris last Wednesday. Kathy tells US newspaper the New York Daily News, "He is a wonderful young man. We love him. If he didn't (ask our permission), I would be very angry. My husband would be furious." The two Parises have been dating since December, after renewing an old friendship at Latsis' 27th birthday party.

Newspaper Apologizes to Sir Michael Caine

A British newspaper has issued an apology to actor Sir Michael Caine after wrongly reporting the star has had cosmetic surgery. The Daily Mail tabloid printed the lies in several articles last year and have since been blasted for their mistake. And to further make up for the blunder, they are making a donation to the Cider House Rules actor's favorite charity - National Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Children (NSPCC). Today's edition reads, "We suggested that Sir Michael Caine had had a facelift. In fact, this is untrue. Sir Michael Caine has never had any plastic surgery. Our apologies for wrongly suggesting otherwise and any embarrassment caused. We have agreed to make a donation to Sir Michael's nominated charity, the NSPCC, and to play his legal costs."

Wilder: "Wonka Remake Is All About Money"

Movie funnyman Gene Wilder has attacked Tim Burton's choice of Johnny Depp to play Willy Wonka in upcoming film Charlie And The Chocolate Factory as a money-making ploy. Wilder, who played Wonka in the original 1971 film Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory, is suspicious of movie moguls' motives for remaking the Roald Dahl fantasy, and sees it as "pointless". He says, "It's all about money. It's just some people sitting around thinking 'How can we make some more money?' Why else would you remake Willy Wonka? I don't see the point of going back and doing it all over again. I like Johnny Depp, and I appreciate that he has said on record that my shoes will be hard to fill. But I don't know how it will all turn out." Despite Wilder's reservations, Burton insists his film will be closer to the original Dahl novel, than Wilder's musical version.

Osbourne Reveals Full Extent of Her Pill Addiction

Kelly Osbourne was so paranoid about running out of painkillers when she was at the height of addiction, she'd stash up to 500 pills in her bedroom. The pop star daughter of Ozzy Osbourne was always paranoid that she wouldn't have a pill handy when she needed a fix, while she was filming reality TV show The Osbournes. She recalls, "There isn't one episode where I wasn't on something. When I was stoned, I'd get scared that I'd run out one day, so I hid them." Osbourne admits she shocked family and friends when they raided her bedroom after her drug problems became clear - and she checked into rehab last year. She adds, "They found something like 500 pills in my room when they cleaned it."

Kidman Denies She's Dating French Billionaire

Hollywood beauty Nicole Kidman has rubbished reports she's struck up a romance with French billionaire Francois Pinault. Website Pagesix.Com reported that the Oscar-winning actress, 37, has begun dating 43-year-old Pinault, who owns PPR - parent company of Gucci. Kidman, a mother of Isabella and Connor, was recently linked to film producer Steve Bing, but has always been very secretive about her private life. But her representative Catherine Olim denies the story, saying, "Don't be silly. She is not dating anyone."
