Sir John Mills Dies

Legendary actor Sir John Mills has died following a battle with a chest infection. He was 97. The British star of over 100 films passed away at his Buckinghamshire, England, home on Sunday after falling ill several weeks ago. His demise has prompted some of the UK's biggest names to speak out in tribute to the actor, who won an Oscar in 1971 for his role in Ryan's Daughter. Devastated director Lord Richard Attenborough says, "He was unequalled as a world (and) British movie star." UK Prime Minister Tony Blair describes Mills as "a great actor, a true gentleman and a loyal friend; someone who made us proud to be British", while Queen Elizabeth II was "sorry" to hear of his death. A funeral service for the screen star has been arranged for family and friends at St Mary's Church in his home town of Denham on Wednesday. Mills is survived by his wife Mary Hayley-bell - now Lady Mills - son Jonathan and actress daughters Juliet Mills and Hayley Mills. In recent years, wheelchair-bound Lady Mills has been suffering with Alzheimer's Disease, but her famous husband never doubted they'd be reunited in full health in the afterlife. He said, "The body dies but the spirit goes on. Of that I'm certain. One day Mary and I will leave this world, but we'll be reunited in the next." Despite his own failing health, Mills refused to retire - because he couldn't bear to never experience the buzz of acting again. He said, "When I get out there, coming across the footlights, it's something that I can hardly explain... such warmth greets me and I feel terrific, it's just wonderful." Mills is best known for his roles in films including Great Expectations in 1946 and 1956's War And Peace.
Beckhams Consider Taking Legal Action Over Nanny Story
Victoria Beckham and her soccer ace husband David Beckham are considering taking legal action over a British newspaper's claim that their marriage is on the verge of collapse. The Beckhams are still fuming after a court refused to issue an order barring British tabloid the News Of The World from publishing allegations by their former nanny Abbie Gibson yesterday. Lawyers for the Beckhams had argued that Gibson's contract included an obligation to not speak about the couple's private life, but the News Of The World said a High Court judge ruled in its favor because the story was in the public interest. A spokesperson for the Beckhams announced yesterday morning, "(We're) consulting our lawyers with a view to taking legal action." Gibson told the News Of the World she witnessed a series of rows between the Beckhams during her employment at their home from August 2003 until she quit earlier this month.
Jackson's Ex-Wife To Take Stand
Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe will take to the stand as a prosecution witness at the singer's child molestation trial. The 41-year-old former nurse - who is currently locked in a custody battle with the Thriller star over their two children Prince Michael, eight, and Paris, seven - will reportedly testify that she was given a script and rehearsed for an interview aimed at downplaying Martin Bashir's TV documentary Living With Michael Jackson, in which the singer confessed he regularly invites children into his bed. The prosecuting team are hoping Rowe will bolster the claim of the mother of the alleged teen victim. Rowe has told the Santa Maria, California, courtroom she was forced to heap gushing praise on Jackson after the controversial show aired in 2003. A source tells Scottish newspaper the Sunday Mail, "Debbie is going to be a very important witness. She knows all of Jackson's secrets and what she has to say could alter everything about the case."
Fans Miss Out on Chance To See Kutcher Model Underwear

Fans of Ashton Kutcher have missed out on the opportunity to see the hunky actor in his underwear, after failing to help his new movie A Lot Like Love open at the top of the US box office. Kutcher recently announced that if his film opened at number one, he'd pose for a Calvin Klein underwear advertisement as part of a bet with a producer pal. But the romantic comedy only made fourth place with a disappointing revenue of $7.7 million. The movie was beaten out by Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn's political thriller The Interpreter, which topped the box office with a haul of $22.8 million. Previous chart-topper The Amityville Horror dropped to second place with $14.2 million, followed by Sahara, which earned $9 million.

Smith's Wardrobe Malfunction at Country Show

Busty model Anna Nicole Smith left onlookers open-mouthed at Nashville, Tennessee's Grand Ole Opry when she flashed her breasts and underpants at the audience. The reality TV star was busy showing off her dance skills at the famous country music haunt last Saturday when she opted to break away from her partner and launch into an improvised solo routine. Crowd members looked on in disbelief as the Texan unleashed a series of eye-catching moves. One witness tells gossip website The Scoop, "She was on stage dancing with some cloggers when she broke loose from her partner and did her own thing. She was shimmying around, shaking her breasts, and lifted up her skirt in a sort of square-dance-can-can move and gave the audience a view of her panties. And then she did some sort of crazy dance where turned around and stuck her butt out at the audience and lifted her skirt. At one point, her boob popped out."
