'Housewives' Present United Front at Hatcher's Big Night
The reportedly feuding Desperate Housewives
showed a united front in Hollywood Tuesday night when Nicolette Sheridan
and Eva Longoria
joined cast mate Teri Hatcher
at her InStyle
magazine cover party. The girls reportedly fell out during a recent Vanity Fair
photo shoot, but there was no sign of any angst at the InStyle
celebration. Sheridan refused to comment on the controversy, but was thrilled with her co-star's high-profile magazine cover, stating, "She's got a $20 million smile". Hatcher, herself, admitted she's thrilled with the new cover: "It looks like I'm 40. It doesn't look like I'm trying to be 25. I want to be a voice for women to say it's OK to be older." But Housewives
hunk James Denton
, who plays Hatcher's on-screen love interest Mike Delfino on the hit show, claimed his pretty co-star has no idea of how sexy she is. He explained, "Sometimes I feel bad for her because she doesn't know how hot she is."
Lohan's Dad Pleads Not Guilty
's father Michael has pleaded not guilty to an upgraded felony charge in connection with a fiery car crash on Long Island, New York. Michael pleaded not guilty in a New York courtroom Tuesday, in answer to charges stemming from the February 19 incident. Michael, 44, was initially charged with a misdemeanor. The violation was upgraded to aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after investigators determined that he had been driving with a suspended or revoked license from a prior conviction of driving under the influence and had a blood alcohol limit nearly double the legal limit, says prosecutor Joy Watson. Defense lawyer Rory Calhoun told reporters outside the courtroom that Michael is trying to "straighten out his life" and is enrolled in an alcohol abuse program at the Nassau County jail. His next court date is set for April 26.
Jackson Keen To Show Off His Skills On the Stand
is preparing to shock the world by taking to the stand in his ongoing child molestation trial, according to his official spokeswoman Raymone Bain. Bain claims her boss is determined to testify if his defense team, led by attorney Thomas Mesereau, insist it's a good idea and he'll prove doubters wrong when he shows off how "smart" and "brilliant" he is. The publicist insists the Thriller
singer is upset by media stories portraying him as a fool, and he's keen to prove everyone wrong on the stand. Bain says, "He'll do whatever his team tells him to... He feels that he is innocent here and he feels, at the end of the day, he will be vindicated of these false charges. He's not running from anything. Michael Jackson doesn't feel that he has anything to hide. He's going to be very honest and frankly I don't think he'll be worried about taking the stand because all he can do is tell the truth and I think that, at the end of the day, that's what matters in the case. He's been in the business for 41 years and he is no idiot; he is very articulate, he is very brilliant, he is very bright and I think you all will be surprised... Michael Jackson is no slouch."

is reportedly set to lose a second Florida home in a tax sting. The Blade
star lost one estate in 2003 through a foreclosure sale and now he has another property at risk near Orlando, according to US news show Celebrity Justice
. Officials claim the fallen star owes more than $23,000 in back taxes, interest and fines on the house. The property, assessed at $257,843, was scheduled to be auctioned off on Tuesday, but the sale has been rescheduled to June. It's one of many headaches for Snipes, who is also in the middle of a two-year-old paternity battle with an Indiana woman. Lanise Pettis, claims Snipes is the father of her son, Israel, and has demanded the actor take a DNA test. When Snipes failed to show for a court-ordered test, a warrant for his arrest was issued. The actor will now be arrested if he sets foot in New York, where the case is being tried. Meanwhile, Snipes has filed his own appeal to get out of the DNA test.

Hollywood star Ewan McGregor
is taking a massive pay cut to star in a new production of Guys And Dolls
on the London stage. The Scottish actor has signed a six month contract to play gangster playboy Sky Masterson in the classic 1950s musical which will open at the West End's Piccadilly Theatre on June 1. The 34-year-old says, "I do find it daunting going back to live theatre after movies. I can't wait but I'll really have to work hard to master the stage fright." McGregor's talent for singing first came to international attention following his starring role in Moulin Rouge
, and his current co-stars are impressed by his instinctive ability to master complex choreography during rehearsals. Artistic director Michael Grandage
says, "The big shock, or rather surprise, is that we truthfully didn't know what Ewan's dancing skills were. Sky Masterson can easily be played without too much dancing about. But we discovered he's a completely natural dancer so we're really going to be using it. And he has a glorious voice." McGregor last appeared on stage in the London Comedy Theatre's production of Little Malcolm And His Struggle Against The Eunuchs
in 1999. Grandage's Guys And Dolls
production, which also stars Ally McBeal
beauty Jane Krakowski
in her West End debut, will see Damon Runyon
's musical return to the London stage after a 23 year hiatus.
