It's a Boy for Liv Tyler
Lord Of The Rings beauty Liv Tyler is a first-time mother, after giving birth to a boy early yesterday morning. The baby, who has yet to be named, was born at 4:11am at an undisclosed New York hospital weighing at 8 pounds. America's People magazine - which reports that Tyler "had a relatively short labor and easy delivery" - quotes the actress as telling a pal, "My baby is so handsome I can't stand it. He also has full lips." Her publicist Stephen Huvane says, "They're thrilled. And they hope to have a name soon." This is the first child for Tyler, 27, and her English rocker husband Royston Langdon, 32. Tyler is the daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and former model Bebe Buell.
Stone Sues Plastic Surgeon
Sharon Stone is suing a plastic surgeon, accusing him of harming her career by falsely telling reporters she had visited him for a facelift. The Basic Instinct star, 46, was horrified when she read Dr Renato Calabria's testimony in American magazines In Touch Weekly and Us Weekly, and has filed a suit in Los Angeles superior court. The lawsuit states, "Stone has never undergone a facelift in order to improve her physical appearance. (She) prides herself not only on her acting ability and other talents, but also on her natural physical appearance." The actress claimed negative publicity about physical appearance "has a damaging impact on a film actress' professional reputation (and her) ability to obtain work in the film industry." In compensation, Stone is asking for general, special, actual and punitive damages and any profits Calabria received from the allegedly unauthorized use of her name, image and likeness.
Kidman Raises Knee Surgery Speculations

Australian beauty Nicole Kidman has fuelled speculation she has had cosmetic knee surgery, after being snapped wearing bandages around her legs. Pictures in British tabloids Tuesday show the Cold Mountain star in a swimming costume, exposing band aids around her knees - which British surgeon Dr. Apostolos Gaitanis says suggests she has had liposculpture to remove fatty deposits, which are notoriously difficult to shift in later years. Gaitanis explains, "She is in her mid-thirties, an age when many women find that fat has started to collect on the inside and upper section of their knees. No matter how much they exercise or control their diet, these deposits stay put. It takes about 45 minutes and patients can go home immediately. For the next few days, patients wear plasters and support stockings to help the skin re-drape correctly."
George Michael Slams Elton in Public Letter
George Michael has written a damning letter to a British magazine urging fans to ignore Sir Elton John's "cruel observations" about his life and music. "Faith" star Michael was devastated the Rocket Man made wild accusations about his "strange" behavior and branded his career "disappointing," so he penned an emotional letter to Heat magazine. In it he argues that, contrary to popular belief, Elton has hardly spoken to him in the last decade and knows very little about his private life. Michael writes, "Much as I am saddened to have to write this letter in full view of the general public, I feel I have no choice but to defend myself, (and my partner Kenny, in a way) from some of the comments that Elton made in Heat magazine a few weeks ago. In order that my fans do not take Elton's cruel 'observations' about my life too seriously, or worry about the 'strange place' I'm in these days, I think that it's time to set the record straight about my friendship with Sir Elton John and how he may have come to such negative conclusions of my life. Elton John knows very little about George Michael, and that's a fact. Contrary to the public's impression, we have spoken rarely in the last ten years and what would probably surprise most people is that we have never discussed my private life. Ever. So we have never been genuinely close, which is very sad. In other words he knows as much as most of my fans do."
Enrique Weds Anna?

Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias and his sweetheart Anna Kournikova have reportedly become man and wife. The upcoming issue of American magazine Us Weekly reports the couple secretly wed in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, last month. To fuel the reports further, Russian tennis ace Kournikova was overheard telling fans at a recent charity tennis match, "Enrique is great. Everything is awesome. We are married." The 23-year-old blonde was reportedly sporting what appeared to be a wedding band on her ring finger at the event. The glamorous couple have been dating since 2002.
Lohan: "Valderrama Romance Was Too Much Work"

Pop beauty Lindsay Lohan believes her romance with Wilmer Valderrama came to and end because it was "too much work". The screen stars went their separate ways in November after six months together and while Lohan has recently admitted that she was dumped by Valderrama, she does feel their relationship was far too difficult to have stayed in. She says, "It was too much work with a boyfriend - well, that relationship was... Being in a relationship should never be work. If there's work then you should get out of it." Lohan now plans to just "have fun" before getting into another relationship.
Jackson Lawyers Try To Get Charges Dropped

Lawyers representing troubled superstar Michael Jackson are trying to get child abuse charges against him dropped, on the grounds of "vindictive prosecution and outrageous government conduct". Jackson's attorneys also want to delay the January 31 trial date, when Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville wants jury selection to begin - and they will argue their case in hearings due to start next week . They are angry about an unexpected search of Jackson's Neverland Ranch conducted earlier this month, during which DNA samples were taken from the singer. Jackson's legal team have asked Judge Melville to suppress all the evidence seized in that search. The 46-year-old star has pleaded not guilty to charges of child molestation, conspiracy and administering an intoxicating agent to his alleged victim, a 12-year-old cancer sufferer.
Baldwin's OCD Struggles

Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin has announced he suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). The Cooler star admits that over the years he's developed a huge fixation with cleaning things around his home. He says, "I'm very OCD, I find. I'm ashamed to say that. I come home and I'm like, 'Did somebody move that book?' I just notice everything. I'm very kind of observant. I'll have to catch a plane, like I'm in a hurry to go somewhere, and I'm in my kitchen rinsing out the glasses. I have a housekeeper that can do that and I'm sitting there cleaning the glass."
Radcliffe Refuses To Watch His Potter Debut

Teenage actor Daniel Radcliffe refuses to watch his movie debut in 2001's Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone because he's embarrassed by how immature he seems in it. The 15-year-old star - who plays the boy wizard - accidentally caught a glimpse of himself in the 2001 movie while changing TV channels, but immediately turned it off because he hated the sound of his voice. He explains, "I haven't seen the first one in a few years. I don't want to watch it. I won't go back while I'm doing the fourth one. Although having said that, I was flicking through the channels one day and I saw a bit of it on TV and I genuinely thought there was something wrong with the sound because my voice was too high and I seemed so young. I might watch it one day for fun - although I'm not sure how much fun it would be because I'm really self-critical."
Eastwood's Treasured Ferrari To Be Auctioned

Hollywood veteran Clint Eastwood's prized 1966 Berlinetta Ferrari will be auctioned this weekend. Movie producer Dino De Laurentiis, the man behind hits including Death Wish and Hannibal, gave Eastwood the luxury vehicle while he filmed The Witches in Rome in 1966. The customized Ferrari will be sold to the highest bidder at Bonham's auction house in Gstaad, Switzerland, on Saturday. It is expected to fetch between $446,500 and $475,000.
