Lindsay and Wilmer Split
Lindsay Lohan and boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama have reportedly split just days after she appeared on his TV sitcom That 70's Show. The couple are trying to keep details of the break-up under wraps but Valderrama's representatives have confirmed the split to America's People magazine. A spokeswoman for the actor says, "They're still friends." The couple have been together for much of this year. Lohan is next slated to appear on the big screen in Herbie: Fully Loaded and has an album coming out next month.
Diaz and Timberlake Sued Over Photographers Attack

Two Los Angeles photographers are suing Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake for assault and battery. The snappers claim the pair attacked them as they tried to take pictures of them in the street outside a Los Angeles hotel last weekend. Saul Lazo and Jose Gonzalez allege the couple taunted and threatened them before Diaz took Lazo's camera after beating him. The alleged attack was caught on camera by another snapper, who sold his pictures to American magazine Us Weekly. Diaz later handed Lazo's camera over to police, insisting she only took it so she could find out who the snapper was. In a lawsuit filed on Friday, the photographers blast allegations from Diaz and Timberlake's publicists that they harassed the couple and jumped out of bushes on them in a bid to stir up an angry reaction. The snappers insist they did nothing to harass the couple and stood more than 10 feet away from them on public property the whole time. The photographers claim they suffered emotional distress and physical harm.
Jackson Attacks "Racist" Eminem at Rally
Michael Jackson has hinted that his new chart rival, Eminem, is a racist by calling American newsman Geraldo Rivera during a protest about the rapper's new video. Jackson is upset with Eminem because the irreverent rapper pokes fun at the pop superstar in his "Just Lose It" video - dancing on a bed with young boys, losing his fake nose on a dance floor and setting his hair alight. And during a live Fox News broadcast on Thursday night from a demonstration by Jackson's fans outside MTV's headquarters in New York, the King of Pop called Rivera direct to comment on the video further and blast MTV bosses for continuing to air it. He raged, "I think that it's demeaning and disrespectful but I also want to make it clear it's not just about Michael Jackson but a pattern of disrespect that he (Eminem) has shown to our community. He needs to stop it and he needs to stop it now." Rivera later stated he agreed with Jackson and blasted MTV bosses, claiming, "It's an attack on people who allow lazy racism to get on the air." Meanwhile, Eminem shows no sign of apologizing for the video and even plans to turn up at the MTV European Music Awards dressed as Jackson. Promoting his new album Encore on Friday, he said, "I've struck some kind of chord with him and I'm not sure exactly what it was that I struck in him that I didn't strike in Madonna or MC Hammer or Pee Wee Herman or myself, all of which I made fun of and spoofed (in the video). I like Michael Jackson, I like him a lot. I'm just happy that Michael Jackson has heard of me."
Newmar Offers To Back Down In Neighborly Dispute with Belushi

Former TV Catwoman Julie Newmar is keen to settle an ongoing dispute with her next door neighbor Jim Belushi by growing flowers on his wall. The 1960s Batman star is being sued by Belushi after he grew tired of her efforts to allegedly destroy his property and defame him in order to drive him out of the neighborhood - all because of a wall he put up around his Hollywood property. Newmar tells American showbiz news show Entertainment Tonight, "It's so petty. It's such small potatoes. Shame on us really. I think this really got out of hand and it shouldn't have. I would like to ask him (Belushi) if he would please take down his wall because I'd like to have the sunshine in my house and I'd love to see the blue sky and I'd love to have the warmth of the California sun. But it isn't something that I wish to keep in my consciousness anymore, and if he doesn't want to take down the wall, well, I'll just put some nice flowers on it... It isn't worth being so hostile." Belushi filed a $4 million complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court at the beginning of the month claiming his neighbor "engaged in a premeditated campaign" to destroy his peace and enjoyment. Newmar reportedly paid out $10,000 in damages and legal fees after Belushi took her to court for throwing an egg at his door. She adds, "That's past history. We resolved that. That's done and gone. We are going to behave like adults again. I'd like to apologize to him and I'd like to tell him how deeply sorry I am if I've caused him any grief or any sorrow."
Cosby Blasts African-Americans Again

Funnyman Bill Cosby has attacked his fellow African-Americans again, blasting community leaders on live TV for not getting tough with rising problems. Cosby appeared on CNN presenter Paula Zahn's Paula Zahn Now show last week and launched into a lengthy rant about the poor state of black America. He targeted juvenile delinquency, poor parenting and bad language for the problems, and urged his black fans to take more responsibility. He fumed, "This is about little children... and people not giving them better choices... You got to straighten up your house. Straighten up your apartment. Straighten up your child." Critics have attacked Cosby for his stark views in the past, accusing him of picking on the black community, but the comic admits he expected the ignorant to turn on him. He added, "Let them stay mad as long as they don't have good sense. I don't care what right-wing white people are thinking... How long are you gonna whisper about a smallpox epidemic in your apartment building when bodies are coming out under the sheets? What kept me out of trouble is going right to the edge and then thinking that my mother would be embarrassed, and that I didn't want to embarrass her, and that my father would be embarrassed, and I just didn't want to do that to my family."
Gellar To Hold Another 'Grudge'?
Sarah Michelle Gellar may star in a sequel to her movie The Grudge, after it proved to be a surprise hit. The producers behind the thriller, Senator International and director Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures, have hired Grudge writer Stephen Susco to pen a second chilling entry in what they hope will evolve into a franchise. Raimi says, "My partner Rob Tapert is working on Grudge 2 now." The film-maker admits that they had waited to see whether the movie would be a hit before working on another installment. He explains, "We didn't want to jinx the first one and put the cart before the horse." The Grudge is an English language remake of the 2003 Japanese horror film Ju- On by the same director Takashi Shimizu. It is not yet known whether Gellar will appear in the sequel.
Rod Loses Court Battle and Has To Hand Over $780,000
Rod Stewart has been ordered to pay back money he kept when a planned South American tour was cancelled. The British rocker attempted to convince a Los Angeles court he had every right to keep a $780,000 deposit paid to him by a group of Latin American promoters before a deal they were planning with him fell through. Stewart had countersued, arguing he was kept waiting but the promoters couldn't raise the $2.1 million he required up front to perform. Unfortunately for the rocker, the members of the jury decided a gentleman's agreement in the matter wasn't enough for him to keep the cash. Stewart's attorney Skip Miller plans to appeal the decision.
Ashlee Begs for Another 'SNL' Chance

Shamed pop star Ashlee Simpson is begging bosses of American satirical TV show Saturday Night Live to invite her back after her debut was marred by a lip-syncing controversy. The singer shocked fans on October 23 when a guide track she was using started without her and led to her dashing from the live show's stage in tears of embarrassment. She proved that she could perform live just days later at the Radio Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada, but she wants to get a second chance to prove critics wrong on SNL. An insider says, "They're trying to work something out."
Rosario Must Wait For Her Day in Court
Men In Black II star Rosario Dawson will have to wait until next year to find out if she'll face a legal rap for an ill-conceived movie protest, after her court case was postponed on Friday. Dawson was arrested for wearing an illegal ski mask during a New York protest at the Republican Party Congress in August - but maintains she was using the rally to shoot a scene in a new movie. The Alexander actress, who has pleaded not guilty to charges against her, is due back in court in January.
Cruise To Climb Everest
Tom Cruise will attempt to climb 29,000 feet to the top of Mount Everest once shooting wraps on Mission: Impossible III. The daredevil actor, 42, wants to fulfill a childhood dream by hiking up the Himalayan mountain after filming is completed on the action sequel. Cruise says, "I really enjoy climbing - and Everest is the ultimate challenge. Life's an adventure. And the adventure is what you make it. It's every little boy's dream to climb Everest. I believe I can make that dream become a reality."
