LeBlanc Fights Former Driver's Tabloid Gay Sex Slur

Former Friends star Matt LeBlanc is fighting allegations he once hired a chauffeur to set him up with backseat gay sex trysts, by insisting he has never had sex with a man. LeBlanc is furious with former driver Damian Plumleigh after the chauffeur took his story to American tabloid National Enquirer and even passed a lie detector test as he revealed all about the actor's alleged seedy past. LeBlanc insists he doesn't care what the results of a polygraph test were - Plumleigh is a liar. The actor, who is a happily married father and stepfather, fumes, "I have never asked to be set up with gay hustlers. It's absolutely not true. I am not bisexual. I am not gay. I have never had sex with men. Setting the record straight is not only important because of me and my life, but also because of my family." The outraged star insists even Plumleigh's claims he used to work for the actor are untrue. He adds, "Plumleigh drove me on a few occasions. When he says he hooked me up for gay sex, it's a 100 per cent lie. He worked for the company that Warner Brothers used. He was part of a hired limo service. He was not employed by me. I was uncomfortable with him so I stopped using him."

Spears Attacks Paparazzi Again

Newlywed pop babe Britney Spears' war with the paparazzi is heating up - she's been throwing soft drinks at them. Britney's relationship with the photographers has grown increasingly worse over the year; In June her mother Lynne injured snapper Calum Reavley in an accidental collision in Santa Monica, California, leaving the singer in tears. During her honeymoon with husband Kevin Federline in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, Britney and her family had an enjoyable time last month pelting journalists and paparazzi with milkshake. On Wednesday Britney went crazy at photo-journalists as she left a Kentwood sandwich shop, and hurled cola at them. Laughing hubby Federline smirked, "That's what happens when you get too close."

Duff Blasts Lohan on New Album

Teen singer and actress Hilary Duff has reportedly hit out at arch-rival Lindsay Lohan in a song on her latest album. The Lizzie McGuire blonde, 17, has been enemies with the 18-year-old redhead since they both discovered they were dating pop heart-throb Aaron Carter at the same time last year. In Duff's eponymous second album, the singer's track "Haters" is aimed at the Mean Girls actress, according to gossip site The Scoop. One insider says, "Hilary thinks that Lindsay has been directing negativity at her for too long." One verse of the song reads, "You're queen of superficiality/ Keep your lies out of my reality." At a later point, Duff sings, "You say your boyfriend's sweet and kind/ But you've still got your eyes on mine."

Moore: "I'll Carry on Student Campaign"

Michael Moore has vowed to continue offering free noodles and underwear to college students if they vote Democrat in the US Presidential Elections. The Republican Party was furious when they discovered Moore's stunt, urging authorities to prosecute him. Moore - who insists the idea was meant to be satire - hit back, accusing the Republicans of being petty, and now he's promising to continue his campaign. He writes on his website, "My friends, they will not catch me. Though I may be on the run. . . the slackers of America shall not be denied their noodles, they will proudly wear their clean underwear as free Americans. Stay strong, stay slacker, and please remember to turn the underwear inside out every three days. As for the noodles, add boiling water, stir."

'South Park' Creators Upset Over Puppet Sex Censorship

South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have won a censorship battle with officials at the Motion Picture Association Of America (MPAA) after their new puppet film was slapped with a "ridiculous" NC-17 rating. The duo knew their new racy Thunderbirds-type film Team America: World Police would be met with some opposition but they were outraged when MPAA bosses came back with their harshest rating. Parker reveals the censorship chiefs were most upset with one scene showing two puppets making love and another featuring a puppet likeness of United Nations weapons inspector Dr Hans Blix being eaten alive by North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il's sharks. Parker fumes he was particularly upset with censorship surrounding the sex scene, because, in making the necessary cuts to get an R-rating, he and his partner have turned the scene into a smutty love-making mess. He says, "We just have a love-making scene, not a sex scene, where the two puppets fall in love... They're not anatomically correct and we did the thing that all kids do and the MPAA's like, 'Well, they can't do this.'" Stone adds, "The puppets did make love for about three and half minutes, now it's just a cheap one-night stand."

Cusack Flies Into the Eye of the Storm

High Fidelity star John Cusack risked life and limb recently when he literally flew into the eye of a storm to research a new movie. The movie star joined military weather experts and extreme sports star pal Laird Hamilton onboard a Hercules jet that flew into Hurricane Ivan, which ravaged the Caribbean and parts of Florida last month . He was taking the danger trip to research a new movie role about freak weather chasers. Cusack says, "It was fantastic. It was scary, exciting and thrilling, all at the same time. At times it was like being in a clothes dryer with incredible wind gusts shaking the whole plane. The worst part was when the plane suddenly plunged like a brick. It felt like my stomach left my body."

Angelina's Special Note for Billy Bob

Angelina Jolie has congratulated her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton on his new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, by taking out a full-page advertisement in a trade publication. Thornton received a star on the Tinseltown walkway Thursday, and has been honored by a range of studios and professionals with congratulatory ads in Daily Variety. But most noteworthy of all was a special message from Jolie. The sexy actress, who split from the Monster's Ball star in 2002, writes, "Billy, I love your brilliant mind... Congratulations! With love and respect always, Angie." Thornton's Bad Santa co-star Bernie Mac writes in his own full page ad, "You deserve it! There is no Badder Santa than you!"

Zellweger Sick of Weight-Obsessed Media

American actress Renee Zellweger has attacked the media, accusing them of starting a worldwide obsession with her weight. Since the star was required to gain weight for her roles in Bridget Jones's Diary and the upcoming sequel The Edge Of Reason, the press has delighted in watching her weight yo-yo - and she is growing tired. She says, "Every day I get asked for advice about how to lose weight. I hate discussing food. I hate discussing gaining weight to play Bridget as if it was martyrdom. It really disappoints me. I got chased through Heathrow airport a few months ago because a guy wanted to get a photograph of my backside. He wanted to document the revisitation of the Bridget Jones bum. I'm either too skinny or my bum's too big. Whichever way you look as a woman you'll be made fun of." Of piling on the pounds, she adds, "I was just the same girl. It felt different, not better, not worse."

Paltrow: "I Don't Want To Be Martin's Yoko Ono"

Gwyneth Paltrow refuses to interfere with her husband Chris Martin's band Coldplay, because she's scared of becoming his 'Yoko Ono'. The actress can sing, and even performed in the 2000 movie Duets, but she fears if their careers cross paths it could cause problems within the band and their marriage. Paltrow says, "People ask if I will sing with the band or do a duet, but always in the front of my mind is the Yoko effect. I don't want to be known as the girl who split up Coldplay. Music is one area that he doesn't give me advice on because that's starting to encroach on each other's career. The sure way for a marriage to start hitting problems is when you start sharing careers as well. We have an understanding that our careers must be kept apart."

Law Plans for Hamlet

Hollywood star Jude Law is planning a break from Hollywood, to return to the London stage. The actor enjoyed a successful run in the Christopher Marlowe play Doctor Faustus at the city's Young Vic theatre in 2002 - but this time he has a bigger role in mind. According to sources, Law wants to play Shakespeare's Hamlet for a limited run next year.
