Hilton Gets Tinkerbell Back

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton's search for her beloved Chihuahua Tinkerbell is over, after the pooch was found alive. A distraught Hilton, who was often seen carrying Tinkerbell in her arms as she went about her daily life, initially offered a $1,000 reward, which was quickly upped to a $5,000 payment for the dog's return, after it went missing last week. Hilton's publicist Tracy Shaffer has confirmed that Tinkerbell was found alive, but has not revealed where the dog was found, what condition the pooch is in, or if the reward was claimed. Posters carrying Tinkerbell's picture still adorn many lampposts around the West Hollywood area, near the home Hilton is renting, which was recently burglarized. Neighbors, who helped in the search, had feared a coyote attacked Tinkerbell. It's unclear how the dog managed to get away.

McMahon for Bond?

Nip/Tuck hunk Julian McMahon is the latest big name to be linked to the role of James Bond. The Australian actor - who was once married to Kylie Minogue's sister Dannii - joins established British stars Orlando Bloom, Jude Law and Clive Owen on the list of contenders for the part. It was previously thought that one of McMahon's countrymen, Hugh Jackman or Eric Bana, would take over from Pierce Brosnan, but both sets of rumours have proved to be false. Insiders are not ruling out the prospect of Brosnan making one final outing as the world's favorite superspy in Bond 21, slated for Autumn 2005 release.

Costner Behind Director Firing

Director Ted Griffin was fired from his new movie, formerly known as the Untitled Ted Griffin Project, by Warner Bros after clashing with star Kevin Costner, according to insiders. The Oscar-winning star, who is shooting a 'sort-of-sequel' to the 1969 movie The Graduate with Jennifer Aniston, was "constantly criticizing" the first-time film-maker - culminating in him being fired, according to gossip site Fly On The Wall. A source says, "It's totally Costner's fault, not Jennifer's. He was constantly in Ted's face about what he was doing wrong, criticizing him repeatedly about his setups in front of Paula Weinstein (one of the film's producers). He said several times loudly to anyone who would listen, 'This movie will take a year to shoot if you don't get rid of Ted.' It was more and more difficult for Ted to maintain any kind of respect from his crew with Costner constantly bitching at him around the clock. Finally, Ted asked Costner rather firmly, but not loudly, to return to his trailer. Costner screamed, 'I will not. Not until you change the lighting set-up like I told you." Costner's dominant approach on set reportedly riled co-star Shirley MacLaine who commented to fellow actress Mena Suvari, "There once was a time when actors respected their director." To which Costner retorted to MacLaine, "You keep out of this." Meanwhile Aniston was apparently "very sweet" to Griffin while he was director, but preferred to remain in her trailer to rehearse her lines when not required on set.

Hilton Marriage Was a Cheap Affair

Nicky Hilton's surprise weekend wedding to tycoon Todd Andrew Meister had even more surprises than at first announced it was a cheap affair. Despite the fact Hilton is the daughter of hotel tycoon Rick Hilton and the groom is worth a staggering $100 million, the couple didn't spend a fortune on the nuptials in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 20-minute ceremony cost just $230 and the couple wore cheap $30 rings. Meanwhile, Hilton's socialite sister Paris Hilton walked her sibling down the aisle and then chose Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" for the newlyweds' first dance.

Lopez Quits E! Special

Jennifer Lopez has infuriated bosses at celebrity TV station E! after reneging on a deal to film an interview for the cable network. Producers originally wanted J.Lo to feature in one of their E! True Hollywood Story shows, but were forced to rethink the format when the Jenny From The Block star expressed fears about the inquisitive nature of the program. E! chiefs responded by promising to reduce the coverage of their Lopez-related news on the station, but were left stunned when the sexy singer's representatives called to cancel the interview, according to website Pagesix.Com. A source says, "Jennifer cut a deal with E! that if they laid off her, she would give them an exclusive interview - her and her family members. E! agreed to stop the True Hollywood Story and cut down rotation on any other E! shows that had (negative) information about her like, (E! show) It's Good To Be..." But E! executives were left fuming after learning J.Lo had pulled out of the special, which she was due to be filmed on Monday. The insider adds, "Jennifer has changed her mind. There will be no shoot. Jennifer didn't want to talk about her marriage, pregnancy or anything. She has no concept of how to treat people. She wants all these favors from the press, but can't pay back her debt." Lopez's New York representative, Leslie Sloane Zelnick at Bwr, has hit back at the controversy sparked by Lopez, saying, "This deal was made by her old PR team. We are not big proponents of cutting deals. We have been going back and forth with E! about a two-hour special. At the end of the day, (Lopez's Los Angeles rep) Nancy Ryder decided against it because E! would not give us final approval."

Britney Wedding Back On But Rescheduled

Britney Spears will marry Kevin Federline in a winter ceremony, despite rumors they had cancelled their wedding. Reports yesterday claimed the pop princess had called off the summer ceremony, planned to take place in the garden of her Malibu, California home this month, after a row with Federline on the set of her new perfume advert. But a spokesperson for the singer insists the wedding is still taking place. Latest reports claim Spears has rescheduled the ceremony for the second time and the nuptials will now take place on November 20 in Santa Barbara, California. Her spokesperson says, "I don't know (the date). I am not involved in the planning and haven't received my invite yet."

Berry Stalked by First Love

Movie superstar Halle Berry was stalked by the first boyfriend she dumped - and he remains obsessed with her to this day. The Catwoman beauty - who recently split from second husband Eric Benet - was horrified when, following the end of their relationship, the unnamed man continued to pester her. And now she's at the top of the A list, she still suffers from his unwanted attentions. Halle says, "I've made some bad choices where men are concerned. The first guy I ever dumped stalked me. He still harasses me. I don't want to mention his name but he sent me dead snakes in the mail and all kinds of crazy stuff."

Hunky Nick Caught Kissing Alyssa

Jessica Simpson's hunky husband Nick Lachey is cheating on his bride with pin-up actress Alyssa Milano - and he isn't keeping it a secret. The couple lock lips in an upcoming episode of Milano's Charmed drama when Lachey plays a former boyfriend, and he admits the kissing scene was a dream come true because he has been a long time admirer of Justin Timberlake's ex. He says, "The first day I came I said I'm just gonna put this out here and tell you your poster was hanging in my locker (at school) because you're gonna hear about it and I don't wanna be embarrassed later on." Lachey admits his reality TV star wife was a little concerned at first when she heard her husband would be kissing another woman. He adds, "We try not to say 'making out scene.' It's just a little kissing."

Townsend: "We're Not Ben & J.Lo"

Charlize Theron and Irish boyfriend Stuart Townsend have turned down the chance to work with each other on the big screen many times because they're terrified of becoming another Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. The couple, who met and fell in love on the set of Trapped in 2001, have just made a second film together - their first as a couple - but admit they've been offered many others. Townsend reveals they chose to work on John Duigan's Head In The Clouds because it was such a good script. He explains, "We've been offered a few things before this to work together and they weren't right. This felt like the right story. It didn't feel like it was going to be a Gigli thing. We're not Ben and J.Lo. We're much more private and that's just madness. That's up there in the Michael Jackson realm. I don't think a lot of people would even know we're together, which is probably great. I think the more people who don't know, the better. I'm not worried because we're not doing the boyfriend/girlfriend thing. We're not doing press together and making this a boyfriend/girlfriend vehicle at all."

Keitel and Kastner Celebrate Birth

Veteran actor Harvey Keitel and his wife Daphna Kastner are celebrating after welcoming their first child into the world. Kastner gave birth to a baby boy, Roman, who weighed in at eight pounds, two ounces at a New York hospital early Tuesday, reports website Pagesix.Com. The Cop Land star, 65, already has an 18-year-old daughter, Stella, with ex-wife Lorraine Bracco, and a two-year-old son, Hudson, with his former lover Lisa Karmazin. Karmazin testified in a family court that she only learnt of Keitel's romance with Kastner two weeks before she gave birth. Keitel married Kastner in October 2001.
