Hilton's Burglary Trauma

Socialite sisters Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton have had thousands of dollars of jewelry stolen from their Hollywood home. Nicky, 19, discovered their Los Angeles apartment had been ransacked by thieves - who made off with a laptop computer, cash and jewelry worth thousands of dollars - when she returned to the pad on Thursday. When asked what was missing, Paris said, "Everything. All my valuables. All my jewelry. All my money." The sisters were renting the home and are looking forward to next month when they will move into one with better security.

Farrell Behaved "Like a Baby" with Jolie

Irish hunk Colin Farrell acted "like a baby towards his mother" when he first met actress Angelina Jolie on the set of Alexander, the film's director Oliver Stone reports. Farrell plays Alexander, the King of Macedonia and Jolie plays his mother, Olympias, in the war epic - Stone was amazed by his casting, because Farrell acted like her son off-screen. Stone explains, "He was all over her. He was like the Irish boy - he wasn't Alexander and he was just falling in love with her, couldn't help himself. I was thinking: "It's the right choice, because he's behaving like a baby." She (Jolie) was laughing at him. I don't know if actors sometimes act out their desires and he wanted to be the infant to her mother. It works."

Jackson's Lawyers Upset Over Lack of Evidence

Michael Jackson's defense attorneys are furious items seized in a raid on the pop superstar's home last November still haven't been handed over to them. The lawyers complained in court in Santa Maria, California, Thursday that they had not received lists of the items taken in their client's child molestation and conspiracy case. The defense team charges that prosecutors have moved too slowly to share their evidence against Jackson, which they are legally required to provide. Attorney Robert Sanger said the defense has not received copies of several of the 70 search warrants in the case and they still need nearly 50 affidavits that accompanied the warrants. The defense said it had received a list of items seized in only 18 of the searches carried out by investigators.

'The Ring' Sequel Pushed Back

The sequel to cult horror film The Ring has been pushed back dues to production delays. The film was due to open this November but has been pushed back due to the conflicting schedules of star Naomi Watts and director Hideo Nakata. The production was thrown into chaos when director Noam Murro dropped out of the project and Nakata took over. The Japanese movie maker made Ringu - the film, which the first The Ring was based on. The film, costarring Simon Baker and Sissy Spacek, is now set for release next spring.

Cruise Says No to Nicole Reunion, But They'll Always Be Close

Tom Cruise has ruled out the possibility of getting back together with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, but he admits he's flattered people think they were a good match. The couple split at the end of 2000 and divorced in August, 2001, but remain close. Speaking to American TV presenter Diane Sawyer on news show Primetime Thursday, Cruise insisted reports of a reunion are way off the mark, but he's happy people liked the couple when they were together. He said, "(We're) good friends, partners with our kids and someone I feel about very deeply. It's kind of cool that people are saying, 'Hey, they were right.'" And Cruise admits he does plan to wed again - even though he's been unlucky twice. He adds, "I am a guy who probably will get married again. I like the intimacy of that relationship with a woman."

Scarlett Pursues Jake Gyllenhaal

Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson is looking for love and has reportedly asked to be set up with newly single star Jake Gyllenhaal. The Lost In Translation star has met Gyllenhaal a few times, and friends say that the pair are perfectly matched. Now she has asked her representatives to organize her a date with the actor - who recently ended his long-term relationship with actress Kirsten Dunst. A pal says, "He's a little younger than her usual type, but they really clicked. They both grew up in dynamic and creative families and Jake has an old head on young shoulders, just like her." Johansson, who is rumored to have had a fling with Benicio Del Toro at last year's Oscars, makes no secret of the fact that she is looking for love. She recently said, "I'm a girl in the prime of my life and I'd like to celebrate that with someone. The thing is, I'd definitely like to be in a relationship with the right person. That's why I'm looking."

Damon: J.Lo Almost Ended Ben's Career

Ben Affleck's relationship with Jennifer Lopez was ruining his acting career, according to his best pal Matt Damon. Affleck's career has hit a slump after roles in flop movies Gigli and Jersey Girl. And Damon says Affleck - who split from J.Lo in January - was so in love with the superstar that he neglected everything else. He explains, "Ben knew during the relationship that the worst possible thing for his career would be staying with this woman. He knew what the deal was, but they were really in love, stayed together and they didn't care and took the bullets career-wise. You can literally follow the dude's week from page to page in the magazines and you're not going to then go, 'Yeah, and now I wanna spend $10 on the movie he just made.'"

Eartha Kitt Hurt in Car Crash

Veteran actress Eartha Kitt has been released from hospital after suffering minor injuries in a car accident. A car driven by the 77-year-old - who played the original Catwoman in the 1960s Batman TV show - collided with another vehicle and flipped over in Norwalk, Connecticut on Thursday. She was treated at a local hospital and released. Kitt's two poodles were traveling with her in the all-terrain vehicle when the crash happened - but both were unhurt. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Arnie Returns To Leno's Show

Semi-retired movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger marked the first anniversary of his announcement he'd be running for office in California by returning to the chat show where he shocked America. Schwarzenegger announced his bid to challenge then-California Governor Gray Davis on pal Jay Leno's The Tonight Show on August 6, 2003, and he returned on Friday to thank the late-night TV presenter for his support. Wearing a smart suit, shirt and tie, Schwarzenegger looked much more official than he did 12 months ago when he wore an open-necked shirt and a sports jacket. Schwarzenegger told Leno he was thoroughly enjoying his new role as Governor, calling the past 12 months "the best year I've had in my entire life".

Collette To Launch Singing Career

About A Boy star Toni Collette has shocked fans by turning her back on movies to launch a singing career. The 31-year-old decided to quit acting to make her first album, after the devastating reviews of her film Connie And Carla and she's relieved she has completed her last two films - the drama In Her Shoes, by LA Confidential director Curtis Hanson, and comedy The Last Shot, co-starring Matthew Broderick and Alec Baldwin. Collette explains, "I've been writing music for more than ten years and I think if I don't actually record it, I'll go insane. But I don't want to be one of those crass actors turned singers or indeed singers turned actors. There are two sides to the coin, the notion that if you're a creative person why should it be funneled through one avenue, why shouldn't you leap over into other areas? Then there's the idea you stick to what you do because you're an embarrassment. But I certainly won't be baring my midriff. I won't be purring, there'll be no little sex kitten thing going on, it's just music that is part of me and I want to get it out."
