Love Loses Millions in Trust Swindle

Rocker Courtney Love claims she's been swindled out of a $40 million fortune, meaning her daughter may not receive a cent of her inheritance from late Nirvana star father Kurt Cobain. The singer, 39 - who also faces debts of $4 million - insists millions of dollars have been "stolen" from her and her 11-year-old daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Love says, "$40 million has been stolen from me and Francis by a fiduciary institution. I found out that my dog walker was making $100,000. One person put a BMW on my credit card. My daughter's trust fund has been stolen from to the point where she may have, like, nothing. I can't let this happen to Frances." Those close to Love confirm a "large sum is unaccounted for". Love is facing two separate trials in Los Angeles - one for misdemeanor disorderly conduct and being under the influence of a controlled substance, the other for two felony courts of unlawful drug possession.
Uma: Ethan Doesn't Blame Me for Split
Kill Bill beauty Uma Thurman has shrugged off suggestions ex-husband Ethan Hawke believes her career ambitions led to their marriage breakdown - insisting he was "misinterpreted". The superstar couple, who announced their separation last September, have both spoken out about the rift in their five-year-marriage, but Ethan's comments seemed to implicate his successful wife. And Uma blames her ex's desperation to quash rumors that his fling with model Jen Perzow led to the split for provoking him to say, "I don't know if it's just too hard to be married to a woman who wants to be a movie star." Uma explains, "If I was younger I'm sure I would have been spattered all over a beach somewhere with big swollen eyes. But I don't think Ethan was blaming me. I think his intentions are better than that. These quotes can be interpreted in many ways. I think he had to explain himself. It's all been difficult, but, of course, I respect him as the father of my children."
Beckhams Try To Block Loos' TV Interview

Superstar couple David Beckham and Victoria Beckham's lawyers have unsuccessfully tried to ban an explosive interview with the soccer star's alleged mistress from being broadcast on TV. The revealing chat with the Real Madrid star's former assistant Rebecca Loos was taped for British satellite channel Sky One, and features the sexy brunette unleashing a series of revelations about her reported affair with Beckham. But despite the intervention from the married couple's lawyers, Sky went ahead with plans to air the interview last night. A spokesperson for the channel says, "Sky One have received a legal letter from David Beckham's representatives." In the interview, Loos vows reports she had an affair with Beckham are true, labeling the revelations "facts" she wouldn't think to make up.
Lil' Kim Pleads Innocent To Perjury
Rapper Lil' Kim has pleaded innocent to charges she lied to a grand jury about a 2001 shootout involving her entourage. The 29-year-old hip-hop beauty, real name is Kimberly Jones, surrendered in federal court and was released on $500,000 bail on Wednesday. Her attorney Mel Sachs calls the charges "baseless". Also charged in the case were the rapper's manager, Damion Butler, bodyguard Suif Jackson and a friend, Monique Dopwell. All pleaded innocent. Authorities said the shooting apparently happened as Lil' Kim's entourage was leaving the hip-hop radio station WQHT, or Hot 97, and the crew of the rival rap group Capone-n-Noreaga was arriving. One man in the duo's entourage was wounded. The indictment said Jackson, Butler and at least one other person fired guns. Police said the shooting resulted from a feud between Lil' Kim and rap rival Foxy Brown, who appeared on a Capone-N-Noreaga album. Prosecutors said Jones refused on the day after the shooting to tell police the identities of anyone who had accompanied her to an appearance at the radio station. On three occasions last year before a federal grand jury, she testified falsely, saying Butler was not at the radio station the day of the shooting and that she did not know Jackson, prosecutors said. Lil' Kim, charged with conspiracy to commit perjury, making false statements and obstructing justice, could face up to 30 years in prison if convicted. She could also face fines of $250,000.
Jacko's Second Accuser Had "Repressed" Abuse Memories

The second teenager to accuse pop singer Michael Jackson of abusing him only recalled the inappropriate moments between them after undergoing therapy. According to sources, the 18-year-old - believed to be the son of Jackson's former maid - was treated by the same psychiatrist as the 13-year-old currently cited in a suit against Jackson. And during sessions with Carole Lieberman, the lad recalled "assaults" which he says occurred between the ages of three and five. He says he "repressed" the memories for years and only remembered them during the consultations. Lieberman was responsible for filing the first child abuse accusations against the Thriller superstar, who is due to face trial in December. Jackson's lawyers have dismissed the new allegations - and those currently against him - as "false".
Cruise's German Security Concerns

Hollywood actor Tom Cruise is so concerned about his safety when shooting on Mission: Impossible 3 starts in Germany, he's renting a high-security house in Berlin. The 41-year-old star plans to rent the former home of Swiss ambassador Thomas Borer from German fashion designer Wolfgang Joop. The house, which is estimated to cost about $7.5 million, features high security fences, video surveillance and motion sensors that guard the property. The estate agent says, "Yes, there has been an inquiry. Tom Cruise even wants a helicopter landing area, but that could be a bit difficult as the grounds are relatively small."

Ditched 'Exorcist' Movie To Be Released on DVD

Veteran director Paul Schrader is furious his axed prequel to 1973 horror classic The Exorcist will be released on DVD at the same time as its replacement - because he wants it to receive a theatrical release. American Gigolo film-maker Schrader - who also scripted Taxi Driver and Raging Bull - had completed shooting his version of Exorcist: The Beginning when studio Morgan Creek insisted it needed more gore. Schrader, who saw the story as a "character-driven period drama", was sacked and replaced by Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master director Renny Harlin to give it a more bloody look. Harlin then started shooting the $54 million prequel from scratch. But an upset Schrader says, "I'm very proud of my film, and I think it deserves to be seen." Exorcist: The Beginning is due to be released in cinemas later this year with the DVD release date as yet announced.

Romijn-Stamos Vies for Job at Las Vegas Hotel

Sexy actress Rebecca Romijn-Stamos is hoping to land a new job following her split from husband John Stamos - she wants to choreograph a Las Vegas hotel's fountain display. The X-MMen beauty - who announced her split from Stamos on Monday - dreams of coordinating the plush Bellagio hotel and casino's popular fountain display. She says, "My friend and I have been making these CDs. We've become obsessed with songs that build, like crescendo. Songs that lift you. So now we have what we call build-offs, where we'll have a night where we sit in a room and go, 'You think that builds? Well listen to this.' During one of our build-offs, we got the idea to choreograph the Bellagio fountain show. We started talking about it and we started becoming obsessed with it and made all these calls and no one's taking us seriously. First of all, what can be better than listening to your very favorite songs with dancing fountains? I mean, we're gonna wear diapers if we see it happen!" She told Jay Leno on his Tuesday night show, "We can't get the meeting with the right guy and so I'm here to beg this guy, Mark Fuller - who's the guy who's in charge of designing the fountain show - we wanna guest. We're been trying to take the proper channels and they don't take us seriously. So I need your help. He's actually here in LA. We wanna go and pitch our songs. Its very exciting for us."
