Troubled Michael Jackson is facing a fresh allegation of child abuse dating from the late 80s by an unidentified person. The new case of alleged abuse is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and reportedly took place in Los Angeles. LAPD spokesperson Jason Lee says, "The Department's Juvenile Division, Child Protection Section, is currently investigating the allegations." It is unclear whether allegations dating back so far could now result in criminal charges. But the Thriller singer's lawyer Benjamin Brafman dismissed the claims as "baseless rumors". He says, "We have never been informed by the LAPD of any investigation that they are conducting of Michael Jackson. Since I have been involved in this case I have addressed literally dozens of completely baseless rumors on a daily basis, and this appears to be just another one of them."

Pop star Courtney Love claims a woman posing as a cleaner has burgled her apartment. The singer, 39, was robbed by the fake 'cleaner' who stole all of Love's money from her American apartment. The unpredictable star explains, "She sat in the lobby for five hours. Then she got in somehow and took all the cash in the house. It was only $600, but the b**ch got away with a bunch of bank documents too." The wife of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain heads to court on Friday to answer disorderly conduct and drug charges, stemming from an incident last October when she was arrested outside the home of an ex- boyfriend.

Rapper Lil' Kim is expected to surrender herself to authorities in Manhattan, New York, after she and four associates were indicted on perjury and obstruction of justice charges following a 2001 shooting. The sexy star, real name Kimberly Jones, was indicted after a a grand jury declared there was sufficient evidence for the case to go to trial. As a result, Kim was expected to appear in court late yesterday to face charges at an arraignment hearing. The rapper is charged with allegedly lying to investigators about her involvement in the February 2001 shooting, which left one man with gunshot wounds to his back. When questioned by police the day after the incident, Kim claimed to have no knowledge of what caused the fracas and refused to tell police who was with her at the Hot 97 radio studios when the shooting took place. It was later discovered that Kim had been at the station when the shots rang out following a feud between her entourage and that of rival rappers Capone-n-Noreaga. Kim and her friend Monique Dopwell also allegedly lied when later questioned by a grand jury in connection with the investigation.

The woman at the center of the David Beckham sex scandal says she can provide proof they slept together - by describing "distinctive marks" on his penis. Rebecca Loos, who worked as a personal assistant to Beckham when he transferred to Real Madrid, says if the soccer ace presses ahead with legal action against her, she will reveal the details to the court. But the 26-year-old beauty says she will not provide the proof to the media, and when pressed by Sky reporter Kay Burley in an exclusive interview - she refused point blank to disclose the information. Loos says, "There's something I know about him, an intimate part of his body that I think only women who've been in bed with him would know. So if they want to take me to court I could easily stand up and say, 'Well...'" But when Burley asked if Beckham was circumcised, Loos replied: "I'm not going into that. I'm not talking about that. If I do ever need to talk about that it'll be in court, not on TV." Beckham and wife Victoria Beckham continue to deny Loos story describing it as "ludicrous".

Friends beauty Jennifer Aniston has ruled out returning to the small screen now filming on the hugely-successful show is over. Aniston - who played fashion buyer Rachel Green in the series - says she is now concentrating on her film career and has no plans to make another TV show. And Jennifer - who has promised to do a cameo on co-star Matt LeBlanc's spin-off show Joey - blames the special atmosphere on the Manhattan-based program for her decision. She says, "Do I prefer movies to TV? I do and I don't. Friends is a pretty amazing job, but it's rare. So I probably wouldn't dive into that world again."

Former Dallas star Larry Hagman has requested doctors refrain from giving him a second liver transplant - because he's not afraid of dying. The 72-year-old star is reportedly experiencing life-threatening problems with the replacement liver he was given in 1995 but has no intentions of undergoing another operation. Brave Larry says, "I wouldn't have it even if it meant I had another 20 years. It doesn't scare me. You are going to die eventually anyway."

American actress Alyson Hannigan is questioning the level of security at the London theatre where she is starring in When Harry Met Sally - after an intruder gained access to her dressing room. The Buffy The Vampire Slayer star, 30, is concerned about safety at the capital's Haymarket Theatre after the stalker bypassed security and gained access to the actress' room on Saturday. An insider reveals, "This guy in his mid-20s was hanging around the stage door after the performance. He tried to sneak into Alyson's room but was stopped by security. There was a lot of shouting and swearing and neither Alyson or Luke were allowed to leave until he had been ushered out of the way." A spokesperson at the West End theatre - where Hannigan is appearing alongside former Beverly Hills 90210 actor Luke Perry - was keen to downplay the incident. He says, "Somehow an audience member found himself backstage after going through the wrong door. He took a wrong turn and found himself at her dressing room and thought he'd go and try and grab her autograph."

Sexy 24 star Elisha Cuthbert was savagely attacked by a cougar and had to be rushed to hospital while filming the hit American TV series. The 100 lb animal sunk it's teeth into the 21-year-old actress as she tried to give him a friendly cuddle through it's cage on the set of the counter- terrorism show. She says, "My stunt double was petting the animal, so I put my hand out to stroke it and it bit me, it almost ripped my thumb off. I was rushed to hospital with two puncture wounds, one of which went right through my hand, I had a brace on my hand for five weeks and now I'm left with a cool scar."

Hollywood funnyman Billy Crystal has launched his first children's book - declaring it an ode to his first grandchild Ella. The book entitled I Already Know I Love You is said to be a "love poem" for his grandchild. The Analyze That star says, "It's profoundly moving when your baby has a baby." Crystal, 57, launched the book at the Children's Museum in New York last Tuesday - reading extracts of his first publication to eagerly awaiting 5-year-olds.

Nicole Kidman is Australia's richest entertainer, according to the new issue of Business Review Weekly. In its annual survey of the top 50 celebrities, the magazine estimated that the Oscar winner earned a staggering $18.6 million last year. Her income in 2002 was reported at $8.63 million. Also among the top-earning Aussies are rockers John Farnham and AC/DC, children's entertainers The Wiggles and Master & Commander: The Far Side Of The World director Peter Weir.
