Foley: Garner Didn't Cheat on Me

Actor Scott Foley has spoken out about the meltdown of his marriage to Jennifer Garner, insisting there was no cheating involved in their decision to split. Foley and Garner went their separate ways earlier this year after walking down the aisle in 2000. And although Garner is now enjoying a romance with her Alias co-star Michael Vartan, Foley, 31, is eager to point out infidelity was never a factor. He says, "Nobody else was involved. Jennifer became a huge celebrity. She became a huge star, and she deserved everything she got. There was no other relationship, there was no infidelity. People get divorced, you know? Through no one's fault and everyone's fault." Foley recently moved from Los Angeles to New York to prepare for the new play The Violet Hour, and he's no longer interested in life in the spotlight. He adds, "I've seen the demands that it requires, and I don't have the patience for that. If it comes along, it comes along."

Woody Promises To Tell All - For the Right Price

Woody Allen is ready to tell all about his life, loves and works - but only to the highest bidder. A 12-page book proposal by the Manhattan movie maker has been revealed by American gossip source Page Six. Allen's pitch to potential publishers promises a book, "Full of fascinating and juicy real life dramas and conflicts, some more dramatic than any film I can make." He also pledges to lift the lid on the scandalous relationship with ex-wife Mia Farrow's adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn, who is now his wife. Woody will write about, "My incredible meeting with Mia Farrow, our totally unconventional courtship - our experiences together, our problems, my falling in love with her daughter and the subsequent earthquake it caused. The Mia episode is really a book in itself, a few years of bedlam including court cases, custody fights, experiences too bizarre to detail with psychiatrists of all types, private detectives, phone tap sweeps, and a press that one wouldn't (and shouldn't believe)." He will also detail the falling-out with former business partner Jean Doumanian. The New York native ends his proposal with an explicit request. He writes, "For this I want a lot of money. The ball is in your court."

J.Lo in Cosmetic Surgery Riddle

An American website is alleging Jennifer Lopez has had cosmetic surgery to reduce the size of her lips and thin her nose. American gossip site The Scoop discovered the claims on Awfulplasticsurgery.Com - which offers photographic 'evidence' of a supposed change in J.Lo's appearance between 1998 and 2003. The website reads, "Jennifer Lopez has had subtle refinements to her appearance, she's had her lips thinned and a nose job. Jennifer's lips were larger in 1998. In October 2003, both her top and bottom lips were thinner. Jennifer's nose was also thinned back in 1999." But, in an age when many stars are paying to have their lips enhanced, the website cites Lopez' 'reduction surgery' as "an example of good plastic surgery, because the changes are not extremely noticeable and enhance her looks".

Ozzy Is Parkinson-Free, But Cancels Tour

Ozzy Osbourne has canceled his European tour to receive treatment for a nervous tremor - although it has been confirmed the rocker is not suffering from Parkinson's Disease. The former Black Sabbath frontman has been seeking doctor's advice on the persistent shaking he has suffered for the past few years. But, although medical experts have allayed fears he is suffering from the degenerative condition, Ozzy has to undergo treatment which will adversely affect his voice - so has been forced to cancel his planned European tour. Reality-TV star Ozzy says, "(The shaking had become) markedly worse over the last two years. I was at the point where it felt as if this problem was practically destroying my life along with my self-esteem," Osbourne's doctor Allan Ropper, says Ozzy's tremor is "coming under control with medication. Unfortunately, one of the side effects of the medication is dry mouth, which greatly impairs the voice. This problem usually subsides after three to four weeks, but the downside is that this will definitely affect Mr. Osbourne's ability to sing at this time."

Mauled Roy Died for a Minute, Skull Fragment Kept in Stomach

Part of mauled magician Roy Horn's skull was removed and stored in his stomach during a radical operation where the illusionist officially died for almost a minute. According to American tabloid Star, the 59-year-old German performer suffered a stroke and is paralyzed on his left side after being horrifically attacked on-stage by a white tiger on October 3. They describe his condition as being "far worse" than previously thought. A source tells the publication, "Roy has been fighting like mad to stay alive. Anyone else would have died by now." The extreme procedure involving his skull - called a hemicraniectomy - may have saved his life by reducing the amount of pressure from brain swelling. The skull fragment was kept in his stomach for safekeeping and to keep the bone marrow alive. Dr. Joshua Bederson, a neurosurgeon at New York's Mount Sinai Medical Center, tells the New York Daily News, "It is amazing - and we see immediate improvement in some of the patients." He also believes Horn will be able to recover from the paralysis, adding, "Frequently someone like that will regain a tremendous amount of function, including the ability to walk, drive, and return to work again." As part of flamboyant illusion duo Siegfried And Roy, Horn had performed at Las Vegas's Mirage venue thousands of times since 1990.

Streisand To Receive Humanitarian Honor

Barbra Streisand will receive a Human Rights Campaign award for her support of gay and lesbian issues, religious freedom, and racial and gender equality. The group, which lobbies on behalf of gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gender people, will present Streisand with its Humanitarian Award on March 6. Elizabeth Birch, the group's executive director, says, "The gay and lesbian community and the nation have been enriched by Ms Streisand. Her passion and leadership are important to all Americans." The group says Streisand, 61, took a stand against an anti-gay rights proposal in Colorado in 1992 and has been a regular financial contributor to the Human Rights Campaign and other gay and lesbian organizations. Also being honored are Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, executive producers of Oscar-winning movie Chicago. The organization is giving Zadan and Meron its corporate award for their work on projects which positively portray gay and lesbian characters.

John Lennon Musical To Hit Broadway

John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono has approved a new Broadway musical about her late husband's life - with an unusual twist. The as-yet-untitled production, currently being referred to as The Lennon Project, is expected to hit New York next year. Producers Edgar Lansbury and Don Scardino are sure their effort will stand out from the others in the theatre district - because it won't be a traditional book musical, a ballet, a biographical musical or based on a film. Instead, the musical, which will feature 12 yet-to-be-cast actors portraying different aspects of Lennon's personality, will use Lennon's songs to tell the story of the 1960s and 1970s. Scardino explains, "Our project is the story of Lennon as lightning rod and how he defined the times and how the times defined him. Lennon's changes corresponded to our generation: there was the rocker, the hippie, the meditation guru, the transcendalist, the political revolutionary, the house husband, and all the while there was the evolving artist." The producers began negotiating with Ono about the project more than three years ago, but the project was hit with delays when film studio Columbia Pictures planned a biopic of the former Beatle and attempted to secure rights to his songs, as well as elements of his life story. But that project is no longer in development. The show is expected to use around 30 songs by Lennon, all written after the Beatles' break-up.

Randy Newman Blasts Bush

Veteran singer-songwriter Randy Newman has blasted American President George W. Bush's foreign policy. The 59-year-old singer says Bush has come closer than any previous president to fulfilling the prophecy set out in his 1972 song "Political Science," with its lines, "They all hate us anyway / So let's drop the big one now." Randy says, "I never thought the song would remotely speak for anyone. The Bush administration has gotten closer to it than anyone before, saying Europe's too old - just like I said in the song. Old Europe - who would ever dream someone would be so ignorant? And the clumsiness of doing it out loud. Who knows what we've done or said in diplomatic channels, but you don't let it out. It's their ineptitude that's a little disturbing."

Kristanna: I Prefer Kissing Women

Stunning movie beauty Kristanna Loken prefers kissing women than men - because they're more "intimate". But the Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines actress - who has been snapped smooching singer Pink twice in the last few days - still admits to finding men attractive. She says, "Kissing a girl is much, much nicer than kissing a man. I think it is more intimate to be honest. I suppose it is more sensitive. I think females bond better than with men, although I do find men attractive. Sometimes girls just want go for it with a female friend. And usually you'll get a good reaction from men who are looking at you. It wasn't the first time I kissed a girl when I kissed Pink, you know - oh God, no. But I won't give too much away."

Beckham Ditches Promoters

Superstar soccer player David Beckham has split with his agents - and has vowed to refuse all new promotional work in order to concentrate on his career. The Real Madrid player, whose high-profile marriage to ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has been put under the spotlight in recent months, announced he has parted company with Sfx Tuesday in order to downsize his promotional activities - which currently earn him a massive $24 million a year. Beckham released a statement saying, "His contract (with Sfx) was due for renewal and he has decided with Euro 2004 and a busy year ahead at Madrid he will be focusing entirely on football and not taking on any new commercial activity in the short term, except as part of his club commitments. He will continue to work with his current sponsors." A source adds, "David felt it was time to take a stand and prove he means business on the pitch. He's had enough of people questioning his loyalty to the career which made him famous and the game which made him a millionaire. He has made a lot of money but now he's older and wiser he's solely interested in his family and football. He is rejecting lucrative invitations to promote products and instead letting his on-field success dictate his fame and fortune. He will see out the contracts he has but isn't looking to do so many deals in the future. Beckham helped England qualify for the Euro 2004 championships on Saturday as he captained the team to a 0-0 draw with Turkey. However, the 28-year-old was clearly targeted by opposition players as they tried to unsettle the team's highest profile player.
