Pictures of movie muscleman Arnold Schwarzenegger puffing on a cannabis cigarette are circulating on the Internet in an attempt to derail his campaign to be Governor of California. The stills are taken from Arnie's 1977 documentary flick Pumping Iron but are unlikely to harm him as he has already admitted to smoking - and inhaling - the drug. Speaking last year Arnie said, "I did smoke a joint and I did inhale. The bottom line is that's what it was in the '70s, that's what I did. I have never touched it since." Also circulating are revealing pictures of a bare bodybuilding Arnie with a towel doing little to cover his modesty, while a naked woman sits on his shoulders. And that's not all that's come out of the woodwork - old footage of the Terminator star promoting beer and a nicotine and caffeine packed drink are also being made freely available.

Pop beauty Britney Spears has found the ultimate way to get back at ex- lover Justin Timberlake and his new squeeze Cameron Diaz - she's dating the actress' ex-fiance Jared Leto. Britney was reportedly left hurt by press reports of Justin's four-month relationship with Cameron - but she seems to have bounced back fast. The star was caught on camera leaving Los Angeles restaurant Dolce with Fight Club actor Jared on Saturday night - and pals say the pair are getting close. A friend reveals, "Britney is upset about seeing Justin looking so close to Cameron. Jared was a shoulder to cry on, and he and Britney have known each other a long while as friends. However, in recent weeks they have seen each other more regularly and are growing closer. She really enjoys Jared's company but they were wary of the attention they would get considering who their old flames are." Britney and Justin split in March last year amid rumors the sexy singer had a fling with dancer Wade Robson. Cameron and Jared were engaged for three years before splitting earlier this year.

Roseanne Barr has been dealt another blow after the failure of her new reality show - her follow-up TV series has been canceled. The American comedienne debuted The Real Roseanne Show - which follows her as she develops her food show The Domestic Goddess Hour - to dismal ratings earlier this month. The second show had been set to debut on September 20, but news of Barr's impending hysterectomy halted production last week. A spokesman for cable network ABC Family confirms, "The show has been shut down permanently and will not air on ABC Family." As the Real Roseanne Show, which is scheduled to end airing on September 17, is all about the development of the now canceled series, bosses are now questioning the relevance of continuing with the reality show. The spokesman adds, "ABC is taking a hard look at the show."

Rob Lowe has agreed to become Arnold Schwarzenegger's running mate in the upcoming recall election for California Governor because he believes the action hero is a born leader. The former West Wing star joined Republican Arnie's campaign late last week, despite the fact he's a longtime Democrat. In an exclusive interview with American showbiz news program Extra, Lowe says, "Arnold will put the people above partisan politics. That's what we need right now because the state is in real trouble. He's motivating and energizing people in this state that haven't been interested in politics in many, many years. I think people want born leaders. I know that when I'm on a set, I want to know who the director is. I don't want to have to guess. That's what Arnold will bring to this state." Lowe admits he admires Arnie for putting his personal and professional interests aside in a bid to try and make a difference. He adds, "It's a tremendous sacrifice for Arnold and for the family to give up their way of life, and the privacy they value so much. One of the things I love about him is his relationship with his children and Maria. It's an amazing thing and it's all being put aside for the good of the State."

Pop princess Kylie Minogue is lining up an unusual singing partner for a one-off Australian gig - Hollywood hunk Russell Crowe. Organizers of this year's Rugby World Cup down under want the antipodean twosome to take to the stage together at the opening ceremony. But sources say the pair are struggling to find the best way to combine their very different sounds. An organizer explains, "Kylie and Russell are trying to come up with a tune but so far they haven't had much luck." Russell, who performs with rock group 30 Odd Foot Of Grunts, reportedly suggested they resurrect love ballad "Especially For You," which carried Kylie and one-time love Jason Donovan to the top of the charts in 1988 - but the diminutive diva wasn't keen.

Movie beauty Gwyneth Paltrow admits she is finding it difficult coping with the loss of her beloved father. The Shakespeare In Love star - girlfriend of Coldplay singer Chris Martin - desperately misses her director dad Bruce Paltrow since his sudden death last October. In response to the tragedy, Gwyneth, 30, took time off from her movie career to recuperate and dropped roles in I Heart Huckabee and Happy Endings. She says, "I don't want to hear, 'Oh, they're always with you.' No, they're not! He's dead, and I'm suffering. Before this happened, I was really at a place in my life where I thought, 'I've figured it out'. Then it was like someone stomped me in the stomach. I needed to talk to my therapist and practice yoga. I hadn't dealt with it, and I felt like it was killing me. I was really scared." But humorous Gwyneth adds, "When I'm in the airport, I'm in the self-help section with my sweatshirt over my head. Are there any grief books I haven't read?"

Hollywood golden couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have finally moved into the Hollywood dream home they bought two years ago - prompting speculation they are ready to start a family. The pair splashed out $16 million on the 1930s Beverly Hills pad, which boasts six bedrooms and a swimming pool surrounded by trees - but never got round to moving in. Now they have found the time, sources claim one of the house's most impressive features - a giant children's playroom - could provide clues to the couple's intentions. Brad, 39, and 34-year-old Jen have made no secret of their desire to have children, and with Aniston's run on hit sitcom Friends soon to come to an end, they may find they have the time to start a family.

Bubbly actress Brittany Murphy has a slight problem with the upcoming launch of her singing career - she's yet to decide on which musical genre she'll perform. The Uptown Girls beauty, ex-girlfriend of Eminem and Ashton Kutcher, plans to show off her vocal talents on her debut album this autumn, but has yet to decide on the CD's style. She says, "I was raised on a lot of jazz and hip-hop and R&B and blues, so I have a lot of artists I favor. I'm sure it'll be a hybrid of all that stuff. Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand and Diana Ross - those are my career idols. Jennifer Lopez, Eminem and Ice Cube have done incredible jobs in juggling both careers. Who knows what my music will end up sounding like, but hopefully people will really like it. I need to get it out of my body and into a microphone."

Ex-Beverly Hills 90210 star Ian Ziering's former housekeeper has been convicted of stealing from the actor and one of his friends. A jury convicted Gloria Lopez on Friday of grand theft for stealing a pendant that had belonged to Ziering's late mother, along with other items. Lopez also was convicted of petty theft for stealing a mobile phone from Ziering's friend, actor David Sheinkopf. Lopez, 48, faces a maximum of three years and six months in prison when she is sentenced on September 11. She was ordered jailed without bail. Lopez's attorney Cathryn Shin told jurors the housekeeper found the items in the trash. In testimony, Ziering said that after the items disappeared he went to a friend's house where he knew Lopez also worked and found "a treasure trove" of items in Lopez's car. He says, "I am a little disappointed in myself for being so trusting."

Movie hellraiser Colin Farrell has recorded a cover of The Clash's classic "I Fought The Law." The S.W.A.T. star popped into a Dublin studio in March to tape the song for the soundtrack to new movie Intermission. Farrell has previously admitted his desire to become a rock star. He is reportedly in negotiations to play rocker Ozzy Osbourne on-screen and was once a contender to join Irish boyband Boyzone. The movie will also feature tracks by U2, The Thrills, Relish and Ron Sexsmith.
