Charlize And Heather Cause Bikini Riot

Charlize Theron and Heather Graham caused a near riot at a Venice Beach, California, bikini shop - when they walked in to try on swimsuits. Young guys who'd spotted the pair gathered outside the shop, hoping to catch a glimpse of the girls modelling before a mirror. By the time Heather and Charlize emerged from their dressing rooms, the crowd was so large that police had to be called to disperse the onlookers.

Ricky Martin To Star With Al Pacino?

Pop idol Ricky Martin wants to make a return to acting - as long as he can star with Al Pacino. The Livin' La Vida Loca singer, who appeared in American soap opera General Hospital and also once starred in Broadway stage show Les Miserables, says he's eager to get back to acting. The Latin hunk explains, "I am not going to stop doing music, but I really want to get back into acting. I don't want to be the lead player in a movie, but I want to be surrounded by a great director and great actors. What would be my dream would be to have a little scene behind Pacino or Harvey Keitel."

Kevin Costner Weds In Secret

Hollywood superstar Kevin Costner has secretly married a blonde model young enough to be his daughter in a chapel in Italy. Costner, 46, has reportedly tied the knot with Christine Baumgarten, 26, having his 13-year-old son, Joe as his best man after being swept up in the romanticism associated with the area of Tuscany. "He fell under the spell of that lovely area, " a friend said who said the pair got married "on impulse". According to Britain's Daily Star newspaper, the pal adds, "The marriage won't be legally recognised in America until he takes out a license there. He's now telling pals and family to get ready for a Stateside ceremony." Kevin's first marriage to Cindy Silva lasted 16 years but ended in a bitter divorce costing him $75 million after they split in 1994. The Thirteen Days star has been linked with beauties Courteney Cox, Mira Sorvino, Naomi Campbell and Elle Macpherson but has been dating Christine for the past year, describing their relationship as his first "serious" love affair in the past six years.

Brad Pitt Couldn't Be Happier

Brad Pitt is incredibly happy with wife Jennifer Aniston - despite his reluctance to marry at first. The hunky star said he "wasn't actually pushing for marriage, " to Jennifer, but his views have changed since their wedding in June last year. He adds, "Now I highly recommend it. I'm loving it all, it's a great change of life for me." Whenever the couple are apart they keep in touch via the internet, "it's amazing, " says Brad. "We have these little cameras which we link up to the net and see each other in just a few seconds." He is also thankful that the media has left them alone when he knows that the attention could have been worse. "We've been allowed to make the most of life together, " he said, "we're in heaven."

Jane Fonda's Religious Beliefs Caused Split

Jane Fonda's new found Christianity was the cause of the breakdown of her marriage to media mogul Ted Turner. The couple, who say they still love each other, were split over her beliefs, and her decision to become a Christian was the final straw in their eight-year marriage. "My becoming a Christian upset him very much, " Jane, 63, says. Ted, 62, adds, "She just came home and said 'I've become a Christian.' Before that she was not a religious person. That's a pretty big change for your wife of many years to tell you. That's a shock obviously." But Ted's daughter, Laura, says the problem was not with religion - rather with Jesus Christ. "It was another male, " she says, "it took time away from him."

Ben Affleck Wants Political Post

Ben Affleck wants to run for public office - mainly so he can make lengthy speeches. Ben says it's long been a dream of his to hold political power in America, and he sees no reason why his dream can't come true. He says, "My fantasy is that someday I'm independently wealthy enough that I'm not beholden to anybody, so I can run for Congress on the grounds that everyday people should be in government." He adds, "Not to get too Susan Sarandon on you, but part of what I'd get off on would be the oration, the speechmaking and the idea of leading."

Jolie To Give Cambodia Surprise Boost

Cambodia is set to receive a special gift from Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie - a new school. The Oscar winner, who will be playing Lara Croft in the new film, felt compelled to help the children after seeing their plight at first hand. The director of the movie, Simon West, said that "They're so desperate for education and they have very few schools". He adds, "You can't help going to a place like that and getting involved in the more serious side of it". The new school will be in the town of Ankor Wat, where the $85 million film was shot.

Renee Zellweger Is No Sex-mad Bridget Jones

Bridget Jones star Renée Zellweger was a virgin until she was 20, claims her ex-boyfriend. The blonde beauty who plays a sex-mad single woman in her latest movie, refused to sleep with fellow student Rhett Baker because she didn't want to ruin their relationship. He says, "She was a virgin and she wanted to stay that way until she met the perfect man. It was all a bit frustrating. A couple of times I tried to persuade her we should get serious and have, shall we say, a more intimate relationship. But she'd just say, 'I'm happy with the way it is.'" Bridget Jones's Diary took 3rd place in the U.S. with a $10.8 million gross, and its $8.4 million gross in the UK gave it not only #1 status for the weekend, but made it one of the best opening weekends on record.

Joan Collins's New Toyboy

Actress Joan Collins has left her long-term lover for a man half her age. Collins, 68 next month, had spent thirteen years with 42-year-old antiques dealer Robin Hurlstone, the man she claimed she "had been waiting for all my life". The new mystery man in the Dynasty star's life is in his early thirties. The four-times married star is smitten and jetted to New York so the pair could spend the Easter Holidays together. Stella Wilson, a publicist for Collins, refused to comment on the unlucky in love star's new partner.

Caine In Movie Shocker

Movie legend Sir Michael Caine stars in the most shocking film of his career - when he threatens to shoot a pregnant woman. Queasy cinema-goers are already dubbing Sir Michael New's film Shiner as Britain's answer to Reservoir Dogs. One preview audience was left dumb-founded after Sir Michael's thuggish character held a gun against a pregnant woman's stomach and threatened to kill her. Viewers also see a hitman's brains hanging from the back of his head after being blown away by the film's villain Gibson, played by Kenneth Cranham. Caine, who plays a small-time East End gangster and boxing promoter Billy "Shiner" Simpson, admits, "It gets more and more serious and vicious as time goes on." He adds, "Billy is a real low-life Cockney East End gangster. He has a lot of power, a big fish in a very small pond. He is typical of gangsters who control a small area who are idolised, but he wouldn't make it in the West End or among the big guys." But pressure group Mediawatch-uk, which monitors UK films for taste, blasted the violence in Shiner as "unforgivable". John Beyer, director of mediawatch-uk, says, "I think this is scandalous. Any violence or threat of violence against a pregnant woman is simply unforgivable."
