Ray Donovan has been renewed — and, more importantly, relocated.

Showtime announced Monday that it is bringing the Liev Schreiber fixer drama back for a sixth season, but that’s only half the story. The more interesting news is that after five years in Los Angeles the series is shifting its setting to New York City.

The 12-episode, Big Apple-set season will begin production in early 2018 and debut later that year.

The renewal comes just days before Ray Donovan airs its Season 5 finale (Sunday, 9/8c), an episode that was partially shot in NYC. »

Ashley Judd Sets First TV Interview After Harvey Weinstein Allegation

19 hours ago | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

Ashley Judd, whose sexual harassment allegation against Harvey Weinstein helped take down the disgraced power producer, will give her first television interview since the fallout to ABC NewsDiane Sawyer.

‪The interview will air on Thursday across ABC News, including on “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight With David Muir,” “Nightline,” ABC News Digital, and ABC News Radio.

Although Judd told Variety in 2015 about her borrowing experience being sexually harassed by a mogul, she declined to name him at the time. The “Kiss the Girls” actress went public with the allegations in an Oct. 5 article in the New York Times, which led dozens of other women to come forward with their own stories about sexual misconduct. The bombshell report chronicled decades of sex harassment allegations and revealed that Weinstein reached confidential settlements with at least eight women, including Rose McGowan.

Kit Harington's New TV Show Is as Gory as Game of Thrones

18 hours ago | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

If you thought Kit Harington's new show Gunpowder was going to be a typical BBC drama - a lavish historical adaptation with plenty of big names and beautiful cinematography - prepare to be shocked. Sure, the UK the series definitely packs a punch when it comes to star power, with Harington joined by stars like Liv Tyler and Mark Gatiss. The setting is definitely atmospheric, too, but it's also unforgiving when it comes to showing the realities of life in England in the 17th century. Following in the footsteps of shows like Taboo and Peaky Blinders, it heads into seriously dark territory. In the first episode alone, viewers witness brutal executions played out in their full gory glory, including one particularly gruesome moment when a young priest is hung, drawn, and quartered. The Guardian describes the show as "Game of Thrones minus dragons plus history", and it's true that thematically and visually, »

In recent years it has become a trend for people to look for unique ways to announce important events in their life, such as an engagement or news of a pregnancy. One way that people have been doing this is to post interesting or funny videos on social media. There have been many examples of people posting pictures of themselves in unusual setups holding a baby scan photo as a way of revealing their big news or of them making a montage-style video. What is more unusual is having a real celebrity to help you break the news. However, that

Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman To Team up For Reality Series “Making It”

The new show Making It will be, in effect, much like Project Runway or Chopped in that the contestants will be challenged to make something within a set time limit and be given different instructions per round. Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman will be teaming up to bring this show to NBC sometime soon hopefully, though no release date has been given as of yet. This could be something quite interesting to tell the truth since unlike food and softer materials this could actually prove to be a difficult task. Don’t get me wrong, working with delicate fabrics and foods,

Netflix’s ‘Ozark’ Was Most Popular Streaming Show This Summer

Did you get to watch Ozark? If you’ve ever seen anything with Jason Bateman in it you might have expected to hear his snarky brand of humor and even thought that it might be worth a good laugh. But that’s not the case with Ozark. This isn’t a humorous show, and it’s definitely not meant to be. If anything Ozark is meant to be dark, dreary, and only possessed of a few fleeting moments of hope in which the Byrde family find that they can still see a way to get through their current troubles. ‘The Good Doctor’ and the Importance of Exploring Humor on the Spectrum

6 hours ago | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

[Editor’s Note: The following contains mild spoilers from “The Good Doctor” episode titled “Point Three Percent.”]

The Good Doctor” has been seen as an inspirational, feel-good drama, but it’s also surprisingly funny. The humor doesn’t stem from mocking Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), a surgeon with autism and savant syndrome, but it is often involved in how his unique outlook on life is juxtaposed with a mainstream viewpoint.

In a Facebook Live conversation that Highmore had with Autism Society of America, the actor said, “I like the humor of the show. I think a lot of that comes from Shaun’s hopeful, optimistic outlook on life. He always tries to see the good in people. It’s nice to play a role in which you can be happy a lot of the time.”

Dancing With the Stars Week 6 Recap: Did the Right Couple Go Home?

7 hours ago | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

It’s all too appropriate that Monday’s episode of Dancing With the Stars was dubbed “A Night At the Movies,” because the two-hour broadcast contained some seriously cinematic plot twists.

A couple that earned its first pair of 10s just last Monday was knocked back down into seven-and-eight territory. Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli were both compelled to take their “six” paddles (!) out of storage for one particularly bad routine. And, after reigning for the past two weeks as the duo to beat, Jordan and Lindsay were bested in the scoring department by another couple.
