Writers Guild of America’s two boards voted unanimously to send a vote to its membership, raising the stakes in the contract wrangling with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.

The board of the WGA West and council of the WGA East have approved the recommendation from the WGA negotiating committee to conduct a strike authorization vote among members of both guilds who have worked under the AMPTP master contract during the past six years — about 6,000 members i total. Ever Wonder How the Guy Who Played Barney Took Bathroom Breaks?

22 minutes ago | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

Recently the guy who played Barney, David Joyner did an Ama on Reddit. While he was asked hundreds of questions, by far the most interesting concerned him taking a bathroom break. Think about it. David Joyner wore the big purple suit for more than a decade and you’d think that during that long run he’d run into some major complications.  I mean you don’t want to scare the crap out of a kid with that suit off.  What if you’re doing an event somewhere else and you have to go?   When Joyned was asked the question, here’s what he had

The latest Spider-Man Homecoming trailer received rave reviews from fans.  Isn’t it funny that people are ranking and reviewing trailers?  You know what would be a great project?  To get a year’s worth of data on movies and see how many people thought the trailer of X movie was better than X movie itself.  Then we could say something like, “In 2017, on average 57% of people said they liked the trailers for the movies they saw, better than the movies themselves.”   Don’t you think that would be a useful stat?  I do.  Anyway, back to Spidey.
