TV Ratings: ‘Blacklist: Redemption’ Off to Sluggish Start, ‘Htgawm’ Up in Finale
As much as broadcast networks say that Nielsen’s Live+Same Day ratings are no longer of any real concern to them, there’s no denying that most midseason dramas have gotten off to a rocky start by that metric. “The Blacklist: Redemption,” the spinoff of James Spader-led “The Blacklist,” became the latest data point in that trend Thursday night. Coming out of its progenitor, “Redemption” notched a 0.8 in the 18-49 demographic and drew an average audience of 4.2 million viewers.
On the plus side for NBC, that was just one-tenth off in the demo from “The Blacklist,” which brought in a 0.9 and an audience of 4.92 million. Thursday comedies “Superstore” and “Powerless” inched down slightly from last week. “Superstore” notched a 1.1 and 3.54 million viewers, while “Powerless” drew a 0.7 and 2.3 million.
ABC cruised to its customary Shonda Rhimes-fueled victory. “Grey’s Anatomy” delivered a 2.0 in the demo and 7.61 million viewers, while »

‘Real Time’: Bill Maher Slams ‘Bait’-Taking Liberals & Huggy, Panda-Loving TV Journalists
After praising recent instances of journalists like George Stephanopoulos and Chuck Todd standing their ground against White House falsehoods, Bill Maher didn’t stay nice for long. Keeping up with the Kattarshians is a Real Show
When it comes to cats, don’t ever count out any idea, ever. But I’m pretty sure that neither I or many of you could have predicted that a show starring cats based on Keeping up with the Kardashians would ever exist. But it does. Oh boy. It does. Four kittens live in a house together. It’s scaled to be just their size. Three live webcams (and a night vision camera) follow their antics as they learn to get along with each other -or not. This is Keeping up with the Kattarshians, an Icelandic production starring a litter of kittens who

Dear Joseph Gordon-Levitt: Don’t Play Nightwing
Of all the actors out there, one guy who I respect more than most is Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Not only do I think he’s an incredible talent but I feel like he’s made the right role decisions in his career. I mean we’re talking way back to when he was in A River Runs Through It as a kid. Then his role on 30 Rock from the Sun which seems like an eternity ago. He earned his wings on teeny bopper flicks like 10 Things I Hate about You but once we all saw him in 500 Days of Summer he

Emerald City Season 1 Episode 9 Review: “The Villain That’s Become”
It can be hard for women on television, and as a woman who enjoys TV a lot, seeing the abuse of women in fictional worlds is hard to grapple with. Tonight, on Emerald City, the writers put nearly every female character through a world of pain. First, Lucas sets out to kill Dorothy under the instruction of Glinda. It’s brutal, and upsetting to watch, especially after they were lovers. I did like that Toto attacked him, that dog doesn’t get enough screen time. Later, a determined Dorothy goes to the Prison of the Abject to release the imprisoned witches. West

The Robot Apocalypse is Upon is With New Robot that Can Climb Stairs
The second I saw this video I immediately thought of the movie Robocop. Remember the scene when Ed 209 couldn’t walk down the stairs? In today’s day and age I find it absolutely hilarious that the movie completely missed that or that they even made that Ed 209’s downfall. This is what would be considered today a billion dollar military project but the smartest robotics engineers in the entire world couldn’t get this thing to be able to walk down a flight of stairs? Awesome. Speaking of stairs, this is a video demonstration of the Minitaur quadruped robot developed by
