Recap: 'American Idol' Top 7 Performances - Current Songs
Back to La, sports fans! Remind me to tell you all about the medical emergency that caused my 5:50 a.m. flight from Boston to be redirected through Denver. But not tonight. Tonight, we celebrate this season's Top 7 and mourn a world without DeAndre Brackensick. In his absence, who will sing with a squeaky falsetto? Who will make the teenage girls squeal? Who will toss his hair with reckless abandon? Sniffle. Based on song spoilers, it appears that Wednesday's (April 11) "American Idol" theme is Current Songs or Songs From The Past Three Years or maybe just Songs Dan Has Never »

The Three Stooges: Film Review
The boinks, pokes, slaps, nyuk-nyuks and nyaaahhhs mostly sound right and hit their marks in The Three Stooges, the Farrelly Brothers' funny, good-hearted resuscitation of Hollywood's beloved lowbrow lunkheads. Gestating for so long it nearly qualifies as a dream project finally come to fruition, this boisterous and affectionate comedy has more plot and sentiment than the boys' shorts ever had in their '30s-'40s heyday, but the winning cast and sympathetic spirit almost immediately strip away any skepticism long-term hardcore fans might carry in with them. While older aficionados and young kids should be on board with

'American Idol': Song Choices From This Decade Include Pink, Gaga, Gotye
In previous weeks, the American Idol finalists performed songs from the '80s or by artists they had never heard of (Billy Joel week, for instance). Tonight, the top seven get to tackle more contemporary artists. So what will the top seven sing on Wednesday? Earlier in the day, American Idol musical director Ray Chew tweeted a teaser list of songs that included selections by Pink, Kellie Pickler, Kelly Clarkson and Lady Gaga. It is interesting to note the absence of songs by David Cook or Daughtry, two artists often tackled by Colton Dixon. Additionally, who will be brave enough to cover

Mel Gibson's Maccabee project faces setback as screenwriter alleges Gibson 'hates Jews'
After catching serious heat from Jewish groups from practically the moment it was first announced, Mel Gibson’s in-the-works film about Jewish warrior Judah Maccabee no longer has a screenwriter attached to it, stalling its progress at Warner Bros. The studio passed on screenwriter Joe Eszterhas’ script in February, EW has confirmed, and although it remains in development, no other writer has yet been hired for the project. (TheWrap first reported the news.)
The Anti-Defamation League condemned the project last fall, contending that it was insensitive for Gibson — whose career has been darkened by reported anti-Semetic remarks and allegations of »

Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper in 'Serena' -- First Look Photo
Before she pulls out her bow and arrow again for Catching Fire, Jennifer Lawrence is filming Serena with Bradley Cooper. In the film, Lawrence and Cooper play newlyweds George and Serena Pemberton, who head to the mountains of North Carolina to create a timber empire in 1929.
It shouldn’t be too much of a stretch for Lawrence, whose rattle-snake hunting and pelt-wearing Serena proves to be more than just a simple housewife, standing by her husband as they destroy anyone who gets in their way. When Serena learns she can never have children, she becomes determined to kill the woman »

So what's going to happen with the kids? And the money? Anthony has asked for joint legal and physical custody of the couple's 4-year-old twins, Emme and Max, and has also requested that the judge dismiss any spousal support for Lopez, should she ask for it. 'Happy Endings' Creator David Caspe Talks Renewals, Sitcom Romance and Unaired Episodes (Q&A)
Some fans of Happy Endings may be slightly confused at 9:30 p.m. this Wednesday. Though the regular broadcast season still has a month's worth of steam left in it, the ABC comedy concluded its sophomore run last week after a fast-tracked 22 episodes. Make that 21. As the network did last year, one episode is being saved to air at some point after the regular season, making room for the April 11 premiere of Don't Trust the B— in Apartment 23 in its plum, post Modern Family timeslot. That launchpad served Happy Endings well. A wildcard for renewal

Betty White Had No Idea She Was Tweeting
Betty White has a new Twitter account, everybody! Someone should really tell her, though. After the 90-year-old White appeared to open a verified account the other day to promote her new NBC series and sent flirty messages to Ryan Seacrest, White's Hot in Cleveland costar Valerie Bertinelli sounded the alarm. "Just spoke with Betty and she is Very upset!" Bertinelli tweeted. "@BettyMWhite is Not her. Don't know how they got verified, but it is not Betty," adding later, "Betty just got a call. An account was opened on her behalf by her people." That breach of celebrity-tweeting trust would not stand, and Bertinelli then attempted to walk back her allegation: "It's all a misunderstanding," wrote Bertinelli. "@BettyMWhite Is Betty's twitter account! I think @BettyMWhite pranked me but good! #blushing." Betty White has always been tweeting, just as Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia. »

Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23: Three Reasons to Watch
The premise (small-town girl starts a new life in New York City, hijinks ensue) has been done before - but it's never been this twisted. The naïve new girl finds a room with Chloe (yes, she's the titular B), played by Krysten Ritter, and a tenuous friendship with her best pal, James Van Der Beek, playing a smarmy, crass version of himself - to hilarious results. »

Game of Thrones: Who's the Hottest Man in Westeros?
Disclaimer: if you are one of those serious TV viewers who takes your TV shows very seriously, the following article is seriously not for you. We here at Watch With Kristin are huge Game of Thrones fans and often find ourselves in heated discussions over who will ultimately be sitting on the Iron Throne, who Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) real mother is, who we'd like to see slap Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) next, you know, totally normal things. Our latest battle? Who's the hottest man in Westeros. Superficial? Yes, but hey, we're not scientists, we're TV lovers and it's not our fault the HBO hit's male population doesn't offend our eyes. We couldn't come to a final decision, but »

Joe Eszterhas Explodes at Mel Gibson (Exclusive)
Hollywood screenwriter Joe Eszterhas is accusing Mel Gibson, his recent collaborator on a movie about Jewish revolt, of “hating Jews” and using him to deflect his anti-Semitic reputation. In an explosive nine-page letter to Gibson obtained by TheWrap, the screenwriter wrote that the director of “The Passion of the Christ” never intended to make the movie about Jewish heroism, called “The Maccabees.” Instead, Eszterhas said, Gibson announced the project “in an attempt to deflect continuing charges of anti-Semitism which have dogged you, charges which have crippled »

Interview: Drew Goddard on 'Cabin' and Spielberg's 'Robopocalypse'
Part of me just wants to run this as a straight transcript and only identify both interviewer and subject by first name, because it would be completely confusing and awesome. That's just me being glad to meet another Drew, though, because there aren't that many of us. My first chat with Drew Goddard, director of this week's "Cabin In The Woods," took place in Austin when we did the live-cast chat with him and Joss Whedon together. Then at the start of this week, he called for a follow-up conversation. The last few days, reviews have really started rolling in, and »

TV Review: Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 Is an Intriguing Balance of Sweetness and Sleaze
Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 (ABC, 9:30/8:30 central) is a trifle, but it's intriguing for how it balances sweetness and sleaze. Its mismatched-roommates premise is an ancient TV trope, but like Two Broke Girls, and definitely unlike the sweet/kooky New Girl, the show has a wicked, at times vile undertow, and that keeps it watchable even though a lot of it is tiresome. Creator Nahnatchka Khan — who also penned the pilot episode — used to write for Seth MacFarlane’s American Dad, and the show’s structure owes a lot to the ten-sight-gags-a-minute style perfected by McFarlane’s animated sitcoms (and The Simpsons before them).Dreama Walker (what a name!) plays June, a literally wide-eyed innocent who arrives in New York City from small-town Indiana, only to discover that the mortgage firm job she had lined up has disappeared thanks to the company’s involvement in a Bernie Madoff–like financial scandal, »

ABC Renews 'General Hospital' and 'The Chew,' Cancels 'The Revolution'
It wasn’t as easy as ABC, but the Disney-owned broadcast network has given renewed life to its last soap opera, General Hospital, while making moves to set the stage for the arrival of Katie Couric’s talk show in September. Also making the cut is The Chew, a food-oriented talk show that has been on since September and has attracted enough viewers on a regular basis to at least generally equal All My Children, the long-running soap opera it replaced. The loser in the shuffle is The Revolution, a health and lifestyle talk show that never seemed to
