Liz Says Reports of Her Death Are Premature

Days after the National Enquirer front-paged a story claiming that Elizabeth Taylor was dying of Alzheimer's Disease, Taylor appeared Tuesday night on Larry King's CNN show to deny the report and other tabloid stories suggesting that she was near death. "Oh, come on," she told King. "Do I look like I'm dying? Do I look like or sound like I have Alzheimer's?" Asked about a headline reading, "Ailing Liz begs, 'Bury me with my true love," Taylor responded, "Who's my true love?" Taylor said that she has been spending her time "designing jewelry, because jewelry is one of my passions" and will be displaying her latest creations at "a jewelry launch" in Las Vegas today (Wednesday).
