Bert Habets to Lead European TV Giant Rtl Group as Sole CEO

Starting in the new year, Bert Habets will take over as the sole CEO of Rtl Group, Europe's largest commercial television broadcaster. Guillaume de Posch, currently co-ceo with Habets, will step down at the end of the year, at his own request. De Posch will retain his seat on Rtl's board of directors.
Habets took over as co-ceo in April, replacing German executive Anke Scheferkordt. Rtl is now putting their hopes on the 46-year-old Dutchman to transform the media conglomerate, which remains Europe's biggest TV broadcaster but faces major challenges in the digital era. The Voice season 13’s finalists were announced on a live results episode on Tuesday night.
After the nationwide vote based on Monday night’s solo performances and duets, three artists automatically advanced to the finals, the bottom two were automatically eliminated and the singers in fourth, fifth and sixth place had to go up against each other, singing live for the instant save. The competition was cut in half, and coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson anxiously awaited results alongside viewers.

Netflix has fired the executive who told one of Danny Masterson's alleged sexual assault victims that he did not believe the claims against the former Ranch star, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.
Andy Yeatman, director of global kids content at Netflix, was let go from Netflix on Monday over his early December comments, made on the sidelines of a children's soccer game. The Netflix exec is said to have not known that he was speaking to one of the accusers.
