Jake Johnson On Nick's 'New' Attitude
While New Girl was originally positioned around the "adorkable" Zooey Deschanel, it quickly (and smartly) became an ensemble in season one, boasting a stand-out performance from eventual Emmy-nominee Max Greenfield. And while Greenfield has still been the Schmidt in season two, the writers and fans have rallied around a different actor since September: Jake Johnson.
Thanks, in part, to New Girl positioning the character as a love interest for their central character, Nick has evolved and unfolded with the most significance this season, but the real revelation has been the deep reservoir of comedic talent Johnson had to draw from. There's no doubt that Jake has always been a solid actor, but in creating alternate personas, seeking advice from wise Asians, struggling with anger issues, mourning his father, falling for a stolen trenchcoat, and swooping Jess off her feet, Johnson delivered the year's best comedic performance from a lead actor (something I believe The Emmys will concur »

Ireland Baldwin Defends Dad: 'It's Not Fair'
At the young age of 17, Ireland Baldwin is finding her own fame in the modeling and social media world, and like her famous father Alec, she isn't keeping quiet when it comes to reacting to her and her family's critics.
As you may recall in 2007, Alec left an angry voicemail for his daughter, who was 11 at the time, that went public. In the message, the actor calls his daughter a "rude, thoughtless, little pig," but Ireland says she's moved on from that and she wants the media to do the same.
"Just like almost all of you, my dad has made some mistakes in the past. He has spoken out of place, he has let his temper get the best of him, and he has reacted towards things in ways he shouldn't have," Ireland writes on her Tumblr in defense of the 30 Rock star, 55. "I get hateful replies and threats regarding mistakes of my dad's past. This »

"We'll be working across an entire range of products coming out this year. From fashion, apparel and homeware and furniture to wallpapers, beauty products and stationery," Neame confirmed to CNBC. "Some of these things have been available since 2012 and we publish books and have made a music album, but the more complex products take time."

He also explained why the show has waited this long to capitalize on its massive success.
"It's a very slow burn the moment you get into retail, it's extremely cautious, it has to test the established brand … No one wants to launch products if the show's going to be a flop," Neame said.

Michael Jackson's mother Katherine was brought to tears at one point during Monday's court session of the negligence lawsuit against Aeg Live over the King of Pop's death.
The Jackson matriarch teared up during the trial's first day of testimony when attorneys working on her behalf played the pop star's song You Are My Life, accompanied with footage of a Christmas morning when Michael gave his children a dog.

Michael's brother Randy was also present, but left the courtroom on Tuesday along with his mother when a paramedic took the stand to describe the measures that were taken in an attempt to revive the pop star, who died at age 50 in June 2009 after receiving a powerful dose of the anesthetic propofol.

How 'The Big C' Shaped Its Final Act
30 April 2013 9:29 AM, PDT
Cathy Jamison's battle with cancer has been, at turns, heart-breaking, hilarious and hard to watch. But perhaps the toughest moment came in last night's The Big C: hereafter season premiere when Cathy asked her family, and fans, to accept her decision to stop chemotherapy.
Buckets of tears would have rained regardless, but the scene in question packed an even more powerful emotional wallop given it was set at the storage locker Cathy purchased and filled with a lifetime of birthday presents for her son, Adam, in season one.
"That was a really emotional scene to film," actor Gabriel Basso, who plays Adam, told ETonline. "It was my first day back filming on season four, and it was the same storage locker from season one, so there was this cool sense of the beginning and the end at the same time."

The always candid Chelsea Handler recently stopped by The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, where the 38-year-old comedian explained her decision to never have kids.
"I definitely don't want to have kids," she put bluntly on the show's April 27 episode. "I don't think I'd be a great mother. I don't want to have a kid and have it raised by a nanny. I don't have the time to raise a child. Childhood was heartbreaking enough for anybody. I don't know that I could handle my own child, especially if I had a girl, going through what I went through growing up. Not that it was so traumatic, but in many ways, it was, in your own way."

Purefoy Previews An Explosive 'Following' Finale
29 April 2013 2:55 PM, PDT
When James Purefoy and I sat down earlier this month, he told me that something would change Joe forever in an upcoming episode. And while we now know that game-changing moment came courtesy of the knife (and then fork!) in Claire's hand, how it truly course-corrected Joe's masterplan remains to be seen in tonight's can't miss season finale!
And The Following's final season one chapter will be equally intriguing for the cast as James told me none of them actually know how the episode comes to a close since they filmed multiple endings!
ETonline: How much did Claire derail Joe's masterplan?
James Purefoy: Well, I think that was a bit of a wrench in the works, but you have to operate from a place of knowing Joe Carroll is insane. He's a serial killer and they are, by definition, insane. He doesn't live by the same rules as the rest of us, or have the »
