Dwayne Johnson Rides in on Fire Truck for San Andreas Los Angeles Premiere

No doubt Dwayne Johnson has style, and he proved it once again making a grand entrance at the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of San Andreas. The Rock hung onto the side of a Los Angeles Fire Department truck as he arrived to the TLC Chinese Theater in Hollywood.  His San Andreas co-stars Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, Ioan Gruffudd and the filmmakers joined him on the red carpet. Dwayne Johnson, Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario Talk Strong Women Roles in 'San Andreas' Movie

The women of San Andreas are not sitting around like damsels in distress waiting for The Rock to rescue them. Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario and Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) are capable women alongside Dwayne Johnson. During a press conference for San Andreas, the actresses talk about the attraction to the role, and why it's a good representation of women you don't often get in movies. Dwayne Johnson also partakes in the conversation, and mentions how he was raised by strong women.

Olivier Martinez Talks Texas Rising and Playing Mexican General Santa Anna

The story of the 1836 Texas Revolution is told in a 10-hour event series, Texas Rising on the History Channel starring Bill Paxton as Sam Houston, the leader of the Texas Rangers and Olivier Martinez as his nemesis Mexican General Santa Anna.  While Texas Rising portrays Santa Anna as a cruel and harsh leader, Martinez doesn’t at all see the real-life Mexican figure as a villain.
