The Lazarus Effect Cast and Producer Jason Blum Talk Micro-Budget Horror Films

Ready to see a film about resurrecting the dead sprinkled with possessed dogs and telepathic superpowers? Yeah, you are! Throughout history, coming back to life after croaking has been coined the “Lazarus Phenomenon.” In fact, this phenomenon dates back to 380 B.C. when Plato documented Er’s journey to the afterlife. It’s also mentioned in John 11 when Jesus resurrects Lazarus back in 100 A.D. It’s not just ancient history though. In 2013, a dude from Ohio came back to life after being proclaimed dead for 45 minutes. Creepy huh? This wild concept serves as the premise for the upcoming horror-thriller The Lazarus Effect. After screening the film at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, we’ve broken it down to a simple formula.

Official Avengers: Age of Ultron New Movie Poster Released

The Marvel gang is all here in the new movie poster for the Avengers sequel out May 1. Take a look at Marvel's one-sheet for Avengers: Age Of Ultron which features Captain America, Iron Man, Back Widow, the Hulk, Thor, Nick Fury, Scarlet, Quicksilver and a bunch of flying beings which we can only guess are Ultron's minions born out of Stark's Iron Man suits. Who else did we miss?

Behind the Scenes on the Making of 'Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast' with Ginnifer Goodwin and Rosario Dawson

Tinker Bell takes a backseat for Disney’s latest adventure in Pixie Hollow. In Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The Neverbeast, Tink’s best friend Fawn takes the lead role when she finds a mysterious beast she must hide from everyone at Pixie Hollow with Tinker Bell’s help.  The new Disney animated film will also tug at the heart strings when the story takes a sad turn in the tradition of Bambi and Dumbo, but of course with a happy ending. CineMovie talks to director Steve Loter and producer Michael Wigert about the changes in the new Tinker Bell movie and the new cast.

Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The Neverbeast comes to Disney Blu-ray Combo Pack, Digital HD, Disney Movies Anywhere, DVD and On-Demand March 3.

Final List of Oscar 2015 Winners

Birdman was the big winner with four Oscar wins at the 87th Annual Academy Awards for Best Picture, Directing, Best Original Screenplay and Best Cinematography. Boyhood was shut out except for one win for Patricia Arquette as Best Supporting Actress. Instead Whiplash took the next top spot with three wins for actor Jk Simmons, Editing and Sound Mixing. In the acting categories there were no surprises with Eddie Redmayne won over Michael Keaton for Best Actor. Read on for the full list of Sunday's winners.
