Hulu Acquires Entire South Park Library, Renews East Los High for Season 3

During the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Saturday, it was announced that Hulu Plus will soon become the exclusive streaming provider for all 17 seasons of the Comedy Central animated series.

Additionally, all 247 episodes will stream for free on Hulu until the Season 18 premiere on Sept. 24. After that, Hulu and SouthPark.Cc.com will offer a revolving selection of free episodes to non-subscribers. Once Season 18 begins, new episodes will be available next-day on Hulu and Hulu Plus. »

The network on Friday announced a six-episode, straight-to-series order for martial arts drama Badlands.

Loosely based on Journey to the West, a Chinese novel from the 16th century, Badlands follows a warrior and a boy who team up for an adventure “across a dangerous land to find enlightenment.”

Set to premiere in late 2015 or early 2016, Badlands was created by showrunners/writers Al Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville), both of whom will executive-produce.

Starz Giving Outlander an Early Debut — and Splitting Season 1

Starz’ adaptation of Outlander is getting an early delivery.

The network will make the premiere of the highly anticipated new series available via multiple TV and online platforms beginning Aug. 2, ahead of its Aug. 9 broadcast debut.
