SNL Calls Out Alum Al Franken in Wake of Sexual Harassment Scandal
52 minutes ago
After labeling four-time host Louis C.K. a “sex monster” during the Nov. 11 edition of Weekend Update, Saturday Night Live this weekend turned its attention to former writer and cast member, Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.), who earlier this week was accused of sexual harassment.
Franken’s accuser, Leeann Tweeden, alleged that the SNL alum forcibly kissed her during a Uso tour back in 2006. She also released a photo that appeared to show him groping her while she was sleeping. He has since issued an apology, which she has accepted. He has also called on Congress to conduct a proper ethics investigation into his behavior. »

NCIS: La's Renée Felice Smith Teases Episode 200's Nell Reveal, Hetty vs. Tiger (!) — Plus: Secrets From the Set
8 hours ago
When CBS’ NCIS: Los Angeles first came calling, New York-bred Renée Felice Smith had just graduated from Nyu’s Tisch School of the Arts with little more on her resume than an Off-Broadway show and a passed-over CW pilot — Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino’s The Wyoming Project, which she likens to “Little House on the Prairie meets Party of Five” — on her resume.
As such, being courted to join the high-octane NCIS spinoff for Season 2 “was really big, huge,” the actress warmly recalls. “It changed my life.”

To be fair, most regular Family Guy viewers are already aware of this fact, but TVLine’s exclusive clip from Sunday’s episode (Fox, 9/8c) is going to confirm it in ways you didn’t even think possible.
Like, the least disturbing part of this preview is when Brian tries (unsuccessfully) to score a date with his co-worker at the suicide hotline. Oh, and his co-worker is voiced by Kristen Bell, which means Brian is basically attempting to desecrate a national treasure. »

The Performer | Rachel Bloom
The Show | Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
The Episode | “Josh Is Irrelevant.” (Nov. 17, 2017)
The Performance | Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is considered a comedy — and it is damn funny — but that really only scratches the surface of the full range of complex emotions Bloom goes through each week playing the “adorably obsessed” Rebecca Bunch. And that range was on full display this week, as we learned exactly how “crazy” Rebecca actually is.
As the episode opened, Rebecca was still recuperating from last week’s suicide attempt, and massive regret and shame was written all over Bloom’s face as Rebecca weakly confessed »
