Justice League Could be Affleck's Final Outing as Batman

What were once thought of as far-fetched rumors now seem to be more and more possible as new reports have come in that Warner Bros. is looking to find a graceful way to replace Ben Affleck's Batman after this year's Justice League.  Come inside for the break down on the latest rumors.

Ben Affleck made his big debut as the caped crusader in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and despite fans' conflicted feelings on the movie, it's hard to deny that his portrayal of Batman is pretty damn solid.  As such many were looking forward to seeing him reprise the role in Justice League, as well as his own solo film...But our time with this Batman may be coming to an end real soon.

The first rumblings of Affleck leaving the role came about when he dropped out of directing the solo Batman film, rumors which seemed »

20th Century Fox is Developing a Doctor Doom Movie

20 July 2017 7:40 PM, PDT

Out of Sdcc comes news that Fox is currently working on a new take on the Fantastic Four universe with a movie focused entirely on Doctor Doom being developed by Legion and Fargo creator, Noah Hawley.

How do you move forward on a popular comic book license when your most recent reboot was completely abysmal?  You do a spin-off movie (of sorts) entirely focused on the villain.  At least, that's what 20th Century Fox is doing in regards to their Fantastic Four property.  Their hopes of the most recent reboot (helmed by Josh Trank) kicking off a new franchise were over before the credits started rolling.

As the film bombed in theaters, the studio pulled the planned sequel off their release slate and have said next to nothing about the future of Marvel's first family.  As such, this evening's announcement comes as something of a surprise, especially considering it didn't »

First Look At Rocko's Modern Life TV Special

20 July 2017 3:26 PM, PDT

Nickelodeon went to San Diego Comic Con with Rocko, and we got our first look at the upcoming one hour special.

The one hour special marks the return of the show for the first time in over 20 years since it ended. The cool thing about the special is that it time lapses with the gap, meaning the characters have to adjust to "modern times" instead of being back in the 90's when the show aired.

The shows creators have noted that the one hour special will have a heavy message about technology and how much this world relies on it, especially compared to the generation of when the show originally aired. In order to make this work, the shows creators note that the characters have been literally drifiting in space for 20 years and have returned to a more advanced world.

The entire original cast has returned for the one hour special titled "Static Cling, »

Doom 6.66 Update Gives Dlc To All Users

20 July 2017 2:14 PM, PDT

Doom is free to play all weekend, and if you decide to pick up a copy then all the Dlc will be yours as well.

Doom had a season pass that saw 3 expansions hit for multiplayer fans that added new maps, demons, and a bunch of customizable items. The season pass cost $39.99 and we personally wish they had gone the Rainbow Six Siege route to Dlc, but lucky us the season pass is no more.

All content is now unlocked for all players, meaning all the extra content can be had by anyone playing the game. That includes all players that will join in the free weekend (Xbox and PC) this weekend, and PS4 users next weekend.

The multiplayer is also being reworked in all areas including the unlocking system. Instead of ranom unlocks after each level, each item will have specific requirements to gain access. So if you are »

Call of Duty: WWII Zombies Officially Revealed

20 July 2017 2:03 PM, PDT

“Embark on a chilling and mysterious journey through a snowy Bavarian village in Mittelburg, Germany, as they attempt to recover priceless works of art stolen by the Axis powers in World War II.”

The trailer leaked a bit early somehow and developer Sledgehammer Games wasn't too happy about it, but now that it has been officially revealed we can talk about it again. The trailer and information comes as Activision hosted the team at San Diego Comic Con earlier today.

“This village holds a shadowy secret key to an unimaginable and monstrous power,” Activision said in a release. “Nothing is as it seems in this zombies horror, as a dark and sinister plot unfolds to unleash an invincible Nazi army of the dead.”

The new content will star Ving Rhames as Jefferson Potts, David Tennant as Drostan Hynd, Elodie Yung as Olivia Durant, Katheryn Winnick as Marie Fischer and Udo Kier »

Never Released Crash Bandicoot Level His Crash N'Sane Trilogy

20 July 2017 1:56 PM, PDT

A level that was cut from the original games has hit the new N'Sane Trilogy, and you can try to beat it now.

Activision announced at Comic Con today that a level was designed and created by Naughty Dog, but cut from the original games and never released. The level, titled Stormy Ascent, has now been released on the PlayStation store for all players to enjoy.

The Dlc is listed for $3, but currently it is free for all owners of the trilogy, for 30 days. After that all players will need to puchase it.

Video of the gameplay was also released, as seen below, but Sony and Activision are touting how diffucult the level is. This is supposedly the reason it was cut from the original game, being too hard to complete, but it also will be extra challenging for players of the trilogy. The developers have noted how hard the »

Shazam! is a story about a boy that becomes a super hero and now he is transforming into a major movie in 2019. The film is expected to start shooting in early 2018 (around January) according to sources, making it the next film in the DC Universe.

Dwayne Johnson is expected to play Black Atom, a character found within the Shazam Universe, but it is unclear if he will appear in this film just yet. He is filming a Black Atom stand alone film that will be shooting directly alongside Shazam!.

Suit Up for the New Kingsman: The Golden Circle Trailer from Sdcc

20 July 2017 6:16 AM, PDT

Fox is looking to start San Diego Comic-Con on a high note by dropping a brand new (Red Band) trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Cirlce, that looks every bit as impressive as you'd hope.  Come inside to check it out!

As expected, Sdcc is giving eager fans a look at the second Kingsman movie via a brand new trailer that shows off a bit more of the story (though not as much as you'd think), and more of the insane action that made the first film stand out.

The humor is on point, the action looks incredible, and it really feels like all the right elements are coming together for this sequel.  I can't wait to see more, but for now, my hype level for Kingsman: The Golden Circle is pretty high.  What do you think of the newest trailer?

Catfish Filmakers Negotiating to Direct Capcom’s Mega Man

19 July 2017 10:53 AM, PDT

I know he’s existed out of a standalone game for quite some time but two directors want to bring Mega Man to the silver screen.

I have always liked Mega Man games. Since its debut on the Nintendo in 1987 the Blue Bomber also known as Rockman has starred in many games spanning many consoles whether they are home or portable. Recently mobile versions of the classics have been released but there’s not a lot of console love for old Mega as a standalone title. Maybe that will be changing soon because Henry Joost  and Ariel Schulamn (Catfish, Paranormal Activity 4&5) want to bring this iconic character to life on the big screen.  Apparently negotiations between Capcom and Twentieth Century Fox are in the final stages for the duo to pen and direct the full length feature.

Mega Man is the story of Doctor Light and Doctor Wily the »

It's a Strange Romance in the First Trailer for The Shape of Water

19 July 2017 7:46 AM, PDT

The First trailer for Guillermo del Toro's latest film, The Shape of Water, has arrived giving movie lovers a glimpse at the upcoming creature feature and the film's story.  Come inside to check it out!

Today brings about our first look at Guillermo del Toro's latest, which sees him return to the creature feature, but with a decided twist.  It's not set up to be a horror movie, but more of a fantastical love story...

I'm really digging this trailer and the Creature From the Black Lagoon vibes it's giving off.  While there are some horror elements, to be sure, the fantasy part is really hooking me in there.  Throw in some Cold War aesthetics with a great cast, and I'm officially hooked.  Definitely eager to see more of this one.

It Director Wants to Head Live Action Robotech

17 July 2017 7:08 PM, PDT

After tackling Stephen King’s It Andy Muschietti has been picked to helm the popular anime series Robotech.

Hollywood teases me at times. Robotech is a series that helped anime get it’s foothold in the U.S. Based off the series Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Super Dimension Calvary Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospeada to make a new series with a connective history between the shows that did not have anything to do with each other. And I’ll be damned it worked. I was a huge fan of the show because it was honestly one of the best stories on TV at the time and the animation just made it worth watching.

Back in 2007 it was the beginning of talks to bring the series to the big screen in live action or some other form because planes that transform into robots and a form between the two, that’s »

Blade Runner 2049 Sdcc Trailer Has Arrived

17 July 2017 6:53 AM, PDT

This morning brings about a brand new trailer for Blade Runner 2049, showing off more of the stunning looking sequel and the story fans can expect to check out.  Come inside to check it out!

Just in time for San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. has launched a brand new trailer for Blade Runner 2049 and, like the previous ones, it's pretty amazing.  There are still so many mysteries in this film, and they've done a great job of showing so much, but giving out so little.  Definitely still very high on my must-see list this Fall:

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, Lapd Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former Lapd blade runner »

Game of Thrones “Dragonstone” Season 7 Premiere Review

16 July 2017 10:59 PM, PDT

Normal 0 false false false En-ca X-none X-none

The long wait is finally over and the North remembers and winter is here. In Westeros at least, and on its winds it brings a Dragon Queen and her armada, vengeance, and some scary as heck White Walkers. But before we get into it I have to warn you. If you haven’t seen the Game of Thrones premiere “Dragonstone” yet, go watch it before you read this because there will be spoilers.

Normal 0 false false false En-ca X-none X-none

We’ve heard about it for a long time now and even though we knew it, and anticipated it, seeing the snow fall in Westeros still feels a little surreal. So what do the winds of winter mean for Westeros? Is it an ending? Is it a beginning? Or is it complete and utter Armageddon for all the living? If Archmaester Marwyn is »
