What Does the Infinity War Change Mean to the McU's Phase Three Plans?

Now that Marvel has officially announced the Avengers: Infinity War will no longer be a two-part film, what does this mean for the fourth entry in the Avengers franchise? If it’s not about Thanos and the Infinity Gems, then which villain will be the ‘Big Bad’ to end Marvel’s Phase 3?

There’s no more parts 1 & 2 for Avengers: Infinity War. News has broken on The Wrap that the second film is not called Infinity War any longer and is currently being listed under the temporary title of “Untitled Avengers film”. The release dates have not changed, however.  Avengers: Infinity War debuts on May 4, 2018, and the “Untitled Avengers”, will hit theaters on May 3, 2019. Does this mean that the Thanos story will be concluded in 2018 and another foe will appear to vex Earth’s mightiest heroes in 2019?

Since the fourth Avengers film is still planned as the wrap-up movie for McU’s Phase Three, »

Darksiders Warmaster Edition Confirmed For Consoles and PC

The remaster of the original Darksiders is confirmed with the new Warmaster Edition.

It was leaked earlier this week that Darksiders would be coming to PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and PC in HD form. Turns out that was pretty much true, but instead of pure HD the entire game is getting a revamp for next generation.

The game will hit all platforms on October 25th and will retail for Usd $19.99.

The game is being developed by Kaiko which were involved in porting Darksiders 2 to Xbox one alongside Nordic Games, the original developers of the franchise.

"We had a short-lived epidemic of premature emancipation, causing the affected persons to burp out sensitive info a little sooner than planned,” says Philipp Brock, PR & Marketing Director at Nordic Games, and continues, “but after a minor surgery and some medication, we got it all under control.”

The game will feature the entire original game, »

Six Movie Villains Who Were Really the Good Guys

29 July 2016 10:41 AM, PDT

In films, we’re supposed to hate the antagonist of the movie because he/she is opposed to the hero. Our sympathies are meant to go with the star of the film, even if he/she acts questionably at times. But there are times when the hero is wrong and the bad guy is right. Here is a list of six (supposed) villains who could actually be seen as the good guys if you look at the plot from a different point-of-view.

Roy Batty from Blade Runner (1982): Roy was the leader of the rogue Nexus 6 Replicants (Bio-androids) who escaped from the Off-World colonies, killing several people on their way back to Earth. Blade Runners (Replicant hunters) are sent to find and “retire” (kill) them. First Holden is sent but gets shot and then Deckard is pulled back into the service of the Blade Runners to find Batty and the others. »

The Rocketeer To Be Rebooted

28 July 2016 1:46 PM, PDT

So look The Rocketeer is one of my favorite movies. It’s flawed yes but still that movie was my jam. So the news that Disney could be revisiting the concept makes me very happy. Now the Rocketeer has lived on in merchandise and Cliff Secord’s adventures in comic form. Six years after the disappearance of the original Rocketeer went missing fighting Nazi’s a new pilot will take up the mantle to protect the technology from falling into the wrong hands. Now there’s talk the lead will be played by a young African-American female and if that pisses you off you can stop reading now, forget the first part of this article, and you’re good to go watch the original and never be interested in this anymore.

For you guys that stayed this is great news. While I enjoyed the first one let’s face it »

Matt Damon Fends Off Monsters in The Great Wall Trailer

28 July 2016 1:30 PM, PDT

What if The Great Wall of China wasn't built to keep out the Mongolians but instead to keep out Monsters?  That's what Legendary Pictures' The Great Wall explores!  Take a look at the new trailer!

The whole idea for the movie is based off of a story by World War Z author, Max Brooks.  Bourne series writer Tony Gilroy, hence Matt Damon's involvement, partnered up with Netflix's Narcos writers Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro, hence Pedro Pascal's involvement, to adapt the ancient story.  The result is a trailer that looks just as intriguing as the idea itself.  Except for one part.

Is it just me or does Matt Damon look out of place?

Maybe its the hair, maybe its because we don't see him do many historical, fantasy movies but it just looks weird having him in this.  Nevertheless, The Great Wall is the first of its kind in two ways. »

First Trailer for Mel Gibson's Hacksaw Ridge Revealed

28 July 2016 9:15 AM, PDT

Today brings about our first look at Mel Gibson's newest directorial effort, Hacksaw Ridge, based on a true story from World War II, and it looks like a tear-jerker that's perfect for awards season.  Come inside to get your first look!

There are some war movies out there that are truly unique and I feel that Hacksaw Ridge is going to be one of those. Directed by Mel Gibson it is the story of Medal of Honor awardee Desmond Doss and his years of service from 1942 to 1946. When Desmond was drafted due to his religious beliefs refused to carry a weapon or take a life. Due to this he was assigned as a medic and within his service was able to save over 75 of his fellow soldiers. Andrew Garfield will be playing the title role in the movie also starring Vince Vaughn, Sam Worthington, Hugo Weaving, and Rachel Griffiths. »

Rumor: Amazon Leaks A New Edition Of Metal Gear Solid 5

27 July 2016 12:50 PM, PDT

If you thought you saw the end of Metal Gear Solid V then you might want to think again, at least according to an Amazon leak.

Amazon seems to be the king of leaks recently with listings of upcoming games showing up before they are officially announced. Amazon of course deletes the listings, or replaces the content with place holder information, but generall speaking it is a sign that something is coming.

The latest leak is for Metal Gear fans as a listing for Metal Gear Solid V Definitive Ex was listed on Amazon earlier today. The discovery comes thanks to Reddit, but the listing has been removed with neither Amazon or Konami mentioning anything.

The title itself is interesting considering the edition is called "Ex" and not "Ed" which could give it some type of purpose. Everything else in the listing was simple placeholder information, as-if someone were simply preparing the listing for release. »

There's a Ton of James McAvoy in First Trailer for Split

27 July 2016 9:55 AM, PDT

The first trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's Split has arrived this morning, showcasing the many different personalities of James McAvoy's character, and his struggle to keep them from unleashing a more dangerous version of himself.  Come inside to check it out!

I know these days, when people hear about a new M. Night Shyamalan movie, it's met with a hefty dose of derision.  The director has brought it on himself I admit, but that's never stopped me from being interested in the ideas he's presented.  The man seemed to get back on his game a little bit with last year's, The Visit, and the first trailer for his next film Split, has me very intrigued:

There's a slow build to this trailer that really appeals to me.  Things seem typical at first, but then quickly go in the opposite direction, and James McAvoy looks to be bringing a »

No Man's Sky Delivers New Layers of Gameplay in Final Two Trailers

27 July 2016 8:45 AM, PDT

Over the last few weeks, we've been covering No Man's Sky's "Guides to the Universe" trailers.  Each one showcases aspects of the game, we haven't seen, before the August 9th release date.  Let's take a look at the final two trailers Trade and Survive!

The Trade guide, allows us to discover that Hello Games' massive universe is very much material-driven.  In order to get powerful new weaponry or upgrade your ship, you need to gather materials at the different planets you visit.  There's no telling how many different materials, weaponry, or even ship mechanics there are.  It's probably as endless as the world's are.  Or at the very least, updated frequently.  This aspect to the game goes hand-in-hand with the next trailer, Survive.

With each new planet comes a new danger for you and your pilot.  In the Fight trailer, we got to witness intergalactic battles, as well as firefights on land. »

The Latest Nx Rumor Makes It Portable

26 July 2016 11:28 AM, PDT

The latest round of rumors regarding Nintendo's next console, er hardware, seems to make it a portable device that can be docked at home.

Gaming streams really can't go a month without some type of Nintendo Nx "leak" that Nintendo never confirms or denies. So the latest in the series of leaks is from Eurogamer which seems to confirm the upcoming unit is indeed a hyrbid console.

The report suggests that the new console will have detachable controllers, and become a full on-the-go experience. Then when you return home you can connect it to a docking station and enjoy the games on your TV.

The rumor also further suggests that the unit will return to cartridge based games, this time capping space at 32Gb. That isn't a lot of room when you look at other current generation titles easily doubling that.

The device will also run on software Nintendo created »
