Minecraft PS4 Possibly Delayed Due To Failed Testing

Minecraft is supposed to release this month, but due to some failed testing it could be on hold.

4J Studios has Tweeted out this statement earlier today, "Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of #Minecraft PS4 :( We're fixing, but we need to go through the process again."

According to reports the "release window" for the game was set for August, but it is looking like that deadline will be missed. This is the second time the game was slightly pushed back. The game is also being developed for the Xbox One and PlayStation Vita, but 4J also noted both of those versions have had issues and are currently undergoing fixes with no release window currently on schedule.

Mincraft released for the PS3 last year and we love it, and it has been a massive success on the 360 for some time now. The new »

If there's one thing movie buffs love, it's their home entertainment set up.  Being able to watch movies in the best possible way is the goal of many cinephiles, and every now and then, some cool technology comes out to make it even better.  A new wall mount for your flat screen recently hit KickStarter for funding, and managed to nail it's goal, and triple it, in only a few hours. Come inside to learn more about it and see whether or not it's something you'll want to contribute to as well!

Here are some of the basics from their KickStarter page:

Placing a TV above a fireplace moves the image you’re trying to watch well above eye level. Think back to the last time you went to the movie theater and had to sit in one of the front three rows. Chances are you walked out of the theater with a stiff neck. »

Another day, another big movie rumor hits the streets.  Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently filming and set pics have been hitting left and right.  Since we're a good ways into filming now, some of the pictures are turning up some juicy items.  Yesterday one such picture turned up that raised a lot of questions and may have revealed Scoot McNairy's role in the film.  Come inside to check out the image and hear our thoughts!

When Scoot McNairy was officially cast in Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. didn't give us any hint as to which character he'd be playing.  Plenty of speculation was thrown around, but the bottomline was, no one knew.  Now, we at least have a clue.  Yesterday McNairy was spotted on the set (filming scenes with Henry Cavill):

Will Tomb Raider Criticism Cut Down Timed Exclusives?

18 August 2014 11:54 AM, PDT

If you paid attention during GamesCom, one of the most talked about announcements was actually a timed exclusive deal between Square Enix and Microsoft regarding Tomb Raider. As you can imagine, the crowd reaction to this wasn’t too great. As of right now a majority of “next generation” gamers are sitting on the PS4 side, but it wasn’t just them that was cut out, it was PC too. That’s a massive audience that wasn’t too thrilled.

Well turns out the crowd was extremely loud in announcing their displeasure. Several gaming websites were not thrilled, and almost every report of the agreement had comment lines of people disliking the idea. This in return made Square start to take notice themselves. The announcement went from a “full exclusive” to a timed deal, something we pretty much assumed was the case to begin with. However Microsoft normally makes these »

18 August 2014 10:17 AM, PDT

After the deluge of Star Wars: Episode VII information that landed this past Friday, there's still more on the horizon (thankfully).  Today, we got our hands on a new picture of the set currently at Pinewood Studios, showing that some desert scenes are still being shot for the production.  Come inside to check out the new image and see for yourself!

Filming should be starting up again shortly for Star Wars: Episode VII, which has currently been on a planned hiatus from filming, and more information is expected to be released this week (wink, wink), but in the meantime, we've got a pic from the set for you to gander at (which we received courtesy of a fellow Star Wars fan Jason, who runs his own fan site):

We were all shocked by the tragic news of Robin Williams' unexpected death last week. As tribute to all the times he made us laugh and cry, we’ve decided to share our favorite memories from his storied career.

Any time a person who has had so much impact on so many people’s lives passes away, it is understandably hard to comprehend. Robin Williams was one of these people. He used his talents to become much more than just a comedian. He was an entertainer. As tribute to all of the great accomplishments in his career, we’ve decided to share our favorite memories. Feel free to join us by adding your own.

Victor Medina

I was pretty young when Robin Williams first rose to stardom as Mork from Ork, but I was a dedicated fan. I bought a pair of official Mork suspenders and wore them all the time. »

New Star Wars Rebels Short, 'Art Attack', Now Online

18 August 2014 6:41 AM, PDT

Last week, it was revealed that Lucasfilm would be airing a new short from the upcoming Star Wars Rebels show every Monday for the next few weeks as part of their lead up to the series' debut on Disney Xd.  Previously we saw Chopper in action, and this week the spotlight is on the Mandalorian character Sabine.  Come inside to check it out!

I'm digging these new Rebels shorts, as they give some cool insight and looks at the new characters before we're thrust into the action with them on the show.  Besides which, it's been confirmed that these shorts are considered "bonus content" and aren't actually clips from the show.  So these are entirely new content, and we'll see something different in the full series.

Star Wars Rebels continues the epic tradition of the legendary Star Wars saga with all-new exciting, action-packed adventures.   It is a dark time in the galaxy, »
