Games to Look Forward to in 2016

1979 Revolution

Following a young photojournalist named Reza, experience the events leading up to the 1979 Iranian Revolution, a complicated era we haven’t really seen in video games yet. This game is in a Telltale-style visually. Definitely looks interesting and intriguing.

I actually put this on my 2015 list of games but it ended up getting pushed back to 2016. And I am still Super excited for this release. The game follows an astronaut, who floats through the wreckage of a destroyed space station with no memory of the incident. You must piece together the gaps in your memory and make it home alive.

Firewatch

Mystery  games are always interesting and intriguing to me because those are the types of games that keep me playing long past wanting to go to sleep. “Firewatch” looks to be one of those in 2016. Set in the beautiful Wyoming wilderness in 1989 and survival is key. »

Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Pop Culture Cocktail Hour

Star Wars: The Force Awakens was undoubtedly the biggest movie of the year. It was such a phenomenon and hugely anticipated addition to a beloved franchise. When it finally released after years of waiting, it was like the world stopped for a week while people flocked to the theaters and water coolers to talk about it. Now while we wait for what seems like forever for the next movie, here are two cocktails to sip and enjoy when you inevitably buy The Force Awakens on DVD.
