For better or worse, the actual webcomic doesn’t move like the trailer does, but do go check out the comic and the other extras at FallingSkies.com when you’ve read everything here on SciFi Mafia.

Noble Intentions Featurette and Clips for Tonight’s Fringe Season Finale Part One

4 May 2012 4:00 AM, PDT

Please allow me to say it once more – Thank Fox we’re getting one more season of Fringe! This week and next would be pure agony, watching the season finale, knowing that it would be the series finale – it’s too horrible to think about. Instead, we can rejoice, and sit back, or forward, and enjoy part one of the season finale tonight.

To get us ready, here is one of the best “Noble Intentions” featurettes I’ve ever seen. Like every other “Noble Intentions,” this one is about Walter in the previous week’s episode. This time, though, it’s about the so-very-touching scenes between Walter and Walternate that the amazing Mr. Noble gave us in last week’s farewell to the alt-verse, “Worlds Apart”:

Breaking News: Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries Renewed!

3 May 2012 1:20 PM, PDT

And about time, too! We had a pretty good indication that Supernatural would be renewed for an eighth(!) season when they announced last month that new showrunner Jeremy Carver would be taking over those duties from Sera Gamble, who has chosen to concentrate on other projects. Still, we kept waiting, and waiting…

Similarly, The Vampire Diaries has consistently scored well in the ratings for The CW, so again we were fairly confident, but still we were waiting to hear confirmation of a fourth season. Today is the day!

According to TVLine, the confirmation is an especially a good thing as Supernatural is set to end the current season with a giant cliffhanger. Which should also come as no surprise. And we have hope that something else good may come with that renewal, as Misha Collins has reportedly advised that he’d love to come back next season… Yes Please.
