With celebrated cinematographer Roger Deakins not returning to the Bond franchise after his fantastic work on Skyfall, director Sam Mendes has been on the search for a replacement. So it makes a lot of sense that he's settled on the same name as Christopher Nolan, whose next movie Interstellar required him to replace his own collaborator, Wally Pfister. »

Hiddleston lined up for King Kong prequel

He's used to hamming it up as Marvel's super-villain Loki, but Tom Hiddleton is changing pace to lay a far more heroic role in Skull Island, the forthcoming prequel to King Kong. The movie explores the 'lost world' of dinosaurs, giant bugs and of course, giant apes, but doesn't follow the Kong template by bringing the ape back to the Us. »
