An unsuspecting audience taking in a screening of "World War Z" in Hoboken, New Jersey got a very special surprise on Wednesday night.
Brad Pitt, star of the upcoming zombie film, dropped in to introduce the film to the thrilled crowd.
"Thank you all for coming out," the 49-year-old actor clad in all black - with his hair in a ponytail - told the audience. "I know it's late, and we really appreciate it...Today we came out to show the film for the people we made it for - our fans!"

Director Richard Linklater has been toying with a sequel to 1993's classic "Dazed and Confused" for a while - but will his planned follow-up include Matthew McConaughey, Ben Affleck and Parker Posey?

"Game of Desks," the funnyman's own version of HBO's popular fantasy series, premieres tomorrow night on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."
In photos released ahead of the parody's premiere, Jimmy is dressed in some very Ned Stark-esque Season 1 "Got" attire.

Starz has announced the premiere date for its new series, "The White Queen."
The series, based on Phillipa Gregory's best-selling novel series, debuts on Starz on Saturday, August 10 at 9 Pm Et/Pt.
"The White Queen" stars Max Irons as Edward IV, and Rebecca Ferguson as Elizabeth Woodville -- "The White Queen."

"Big day today!!!" the 38-year-old actress Tweeted. "Very excited to graduate for my Master's degree in Chicano Studies! You're never too old or too busy to continue your education!"
According to TMZ, Eva spent three years completing her degree, which she began while still working on "Desperate Housewives." She spent time doing school work on the set of the ABC drama.

Bad Teacher Heading To CBS

"Bad Teacher" is coming to TV.
On Wednesday, CBS announced it had ordered the single-camera comedy, based on the Cameron Diaz-starring film, for the 2013-2014 television season.
Ari Graynor stars in the series as "an always inappropriate, fearless and unapologetic former trophy wife who masquerades as a teacher in order to find a new man after her wealthy husband leaves her penniless," per CBS.

"Star Trek Into Darkness" has drawn the ire of some fans and critics for a scene in which brilliant scientist Dr. Carol Marcus (played by Alice Eve) strips down to her bra and panties - a move many have suggested unnecessarily undercuts the character's intelligence.
