With her film debut “Second Coming”, playwright Debbie Tucker Green has created an intriguing if meandering portrait of an ordinary London family torn apart by the miraculous and the unexplained. Nadine Marshall plays Jax, a woman married for over twenty years to hard-working railway worker husband Mark (Idris Elba). Ever since having their first child Jj (Kai Francis Lewis), now 11, the couple have grown distant, partly due to experiencing four traumatizing miscarriages. And yet, when we meet Jax, we learn through vague, cryptic conversations between her and a friend that she’s several weeks pregnant, despite being told by doctors that she can never conceive again. Jerrod Carmichael Has Jokes - Watch 2 Clips from HBO's 'Love at The Store' (Directed by Spike Lee)

In December, it was announced that NBC was developing a pilot for a new comedy starring and created by up-and-coming comic, Jerrod Carmichael, which would be based on Carmichael's comedy and life. It wasn't picked up by the network, but NBC gave Carmichael another shot, with another new pilot, which the network was said to be fast-tracking.  No updates on that yet, but, clearly NBC wants to work with the young comic; As does HBO, by the way, who, earlier this year, ordered Carmichael's first stand-up comedy special for the network, which was taped in Hollywood on May 7, and was directed by Spike Lee.  Produced for HBO by Funny Or »

Watch the Creepy-Cool Opening Credits Sequence for 'American Horror Story: Freak Show'

"It's darker than Coven; it feels very unique [...] It feels like a Douglas Sirk movie; it's very 1952 presentational and then the horror is an unexpected jab. As opposed to last year, which was crazy camera work and comedy. This year feels different. The special-ability cast that we have is amazing and I feel so thrilled because for so many of them, it was their dream to be actors and they didn't have any opportunities. There's a great community. They feel part of something perhaps for the first time in their life and that's an amazing thing that I was really emotional about when I was directing them." - "American Horror Story" co-creator Ryan Murphy »

Is an intro really necessary here? It's "Taken 3."  No, Forest Whitaker and Liam Neeson haven't remade "The Fugitive," and I certainly haven't seen "Taken 3;" but watching the below trailer, "The Fugitive" (itself based on the 1960s television series of the same name) immediately came to mind, although this time with Whitaker playing the character Tommy Lee Jones originated on the big screen, and Neeson as Harrison Ford's Dr. Richard Kimble.
