Forest Whitaker & Liam Neeson Remake 'The Fugitive' in 1st Trailer for 'Taken 3'

Is an intro really necessary here? It's "Taken 3."  No, Forest Whitaker and Liam Neeson haven't remade "The Fugitive," and I certainly haven't seen "Taken 3;" but watching the below trailer, "The Fugitive" (itself based on the 1960s television series of the same name) immediately came to mind, although this time with Whitaker playing the character Tommy Lee Jones originated on the big screen, and Neeson as Harrison Ford's Dr. Richard Kimble. "Taken 3" is set for a January 2015 theatrical release. Watch: »

"Children of a Lesser God," already an onstage (and film) success, is heading back to Broadway, in a revival that will be directed by Tony Award-winner Kenny Leon, producer Hal Luftig announced Monday. A 2015-2016 Broadway season bow is planned.  No cast has been announced yet, producer Luftig did add that he and director Leon are "aiming to cast actors of various ethnicities, including, possibly, an African American to play the lead character of Sarah." None of that should be a surprise, given recent revivals of previous shows, with diverse casts (at times, all-black casts), unlike their original productions. See "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" and »

Steele: 'How to Get Away w/ Murder' & 'Black-ish' - the Good & the Bad

29 September 2014 11:21 AM, PDT

I will begin with the good. One thing I love about Shondaland is her ability to create female characters that do not put their bodies on display as a means to an end. Her women are thoughtful, they lead with their brain, certainly, they are beautiful. But, this is not what informs their life. Their life and their success happens because of their brain power. This is one reason why I will continue to watch Ms. Shonda’s programming. I may not be in it for the long haul but, I will tune in, periodically, to see how these formidable women move in the world. Faithful readers are aware that I stopped watching "Scandal" (mid) Season Two. Thursday night, however, I tuned into the season »
