"Deadpool 2" Starts Shooting

April 6, 2016 actor Ryan Reynolds officially signed on for the sequel. 

During the post-credit scene in the first "Deadpool" movie, Deadpool tells the audience that 'Cable' will be in the sequel. Other characters confirmed to appear include 'Neena Thurman'/Domino', 'Colossus', 'Dopiner' and 'Negasonic Teenage Warhead'.

The first "Deadpool" feature follows former 'Special Forces' operative turned mercenary, cheap prankster... 

'Wade Wilson', who after being subjected to a rogue experiment acquires accelerated healing powers, then adopts the alter ego 'Deadpool'.

Actress Zazie Beetz ("Atlanta") plays the "X-Force" mutant 'Domino' in the new film.

'Domino' aka 'Neena Thurman', created by writer Fabian Nicieza and co-writer/illustrator Rob Liefeld, debuted in Marvel Comics' "X-Force" (Vol. 1) #11 (June 1992).

In addition to her marksmanship and hand-to-hand skills, Domino possesses mutant powers and has been the lover of 'Cable', the mutant son of former 'X-Men' leader 'Cyclops'.

"Domino has the ability to subconsciously and psionically initiate random telekinetic acts that affect probability in her favor by making improbable (but not impossible) things occur within her line of sight...

"...thus causing her to have 'good luck' and her opponents to have 'bad luck'.

Green Light For Marvel's "The Runaways"

Thanks to an impressive live-action pilot shot February 2017, Marvel and Hulu have greenlit production on an episodic TV series adapting Marvel Comics "The Runaways" "following six super-powered teenagers who can barely stand each other, but who must unite against a common foe – their criminal parents..."

"We've known the Runaways‘ story would make great television," said Marvel TV's Jeph Loeb.
