"The Flash": More DC Comics Superheroes Revealed

According to VancouverFilm.Net, more DC Comics superheroes and villains will be joining "Arrow" spin-off TV series, "The Flash":

Robbie Amell, ("The Tomorrow People") and cousin of "Arrow" actor Stephen Amell, will appear in "The Flash" as 'Ronnie Raymond', aka DC Comics' 'Firestorm", a 'S.T.A.R. Labs' maintenance worker and fiancé of  'Dr. Caitlin Snow'.

"...created in 1978 by Gerry Conway and Al Milgrom, the original 'Firestorm' was High school student 'Ronnie Raymond' and Nobel Prize-winning physicist 'Martin Stein' who were both caught in a nuclear accident that allowed them to fuse into the nuclear man 'Firestorm'. 

"Due to Stein's being unconscious during the accident, Raymond was prominently in command of the Firestorm form with Stein a voice of reason inside his mind.

"Arrow" Season 3 Starts Shooting

According to VancouverFilm.Net, "Arrow" Season 3 starts shooting July 9, 2014, the premiere episode "The Calm", from a story by "Arrow" and "The Flash" showrunners Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and script by Marc Guggenheim, Jake Coburn, for director Glen Winter

"...'Season Three' opens with 'Arrow' now a hero to the citizens of 'Starling'. Crime is down, people feel safer, and 'Captain Lance' even calls off the 'Anti-Vigilante Task Force'. Basking in his success, 'Oliver' believes he can finally have a private life and asks 'Felicity' out on a date. "Jurassic World 3D" : Raptors In Your Face

Sneak Peek more new images from director Colin Trevorrow's "Jurassic World 3D" set 22 years after the events of "Jurassic Park".

The new film stars Chris Pratt ("Guardians of the Galaxy"), Irrfan Khan ("The Amazing Spider-Man"), Vincent D’Onofrio ("Men In Black") and Bryce Dallas Howard ("Spider-Man 3").

"Guardians of the Galaxy"- The Power of 'Thanos'

Sneak Peek a new 'extended trailer', featuring previously unseen footage from Marvel Studios' "Guardians Of The Galaxy", including a first official look @ 'Yondu' played by Michael Rooker ("The Walking Dead"):

In the new film, actor Josh Brolin ("Sin City: A Dame To Kill For") voices the character 'Thanos'.

Thanos debuted in Marvel Comics' "Iron Man" #55 (Feb. 1973), created by writer-artist Jim Starlin.  

The character has since appeared in over 30 years of Marvel Comics continuity as well as in a dedicated, self-titled series.

Thanos was born on Titan, a moon of the planet Saturn, to 'Mentor' and 'Sui-San'. Due to a genetic quirk, Thanos is born with the 'Deviant' gene and as such resembles the 'Deviants' — the cousin race of the 'Eternals' — more than his own people.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" - 'Yondu' Revealed

Sneak Peek more new images of actor Michael Rooker ("The Walking Dead") as the blue-skinned alien 'Yondu' in Marvel Studios' "Guardians Of The Galaxy":

'Yondu Udonta', a founding member of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" team is a member of the 'Zatoan' tribe, native to 'Centauri IV'. Functioning as a hunter, his homeworld was the first planet to be colonized by humans outside of Earth's solar system.

The character possesses no superhuman physical powers, but is a natural mystic.

He has an intuitive mystical "sixth sense" perception that permits him limited empathic relationships with other lifeforms.  

Yondu is an above average physical specimen of his race, with an ability to whistle with a range of four octaves, aiding his archery prowess, as well as being an excellent hand-to-hand combatant.

Yondu also uses a single curve bow and a quiver of arrows composed of 'yaka', a special sound-sensitive metal found only on Centauri IV. »

What If..."Avengers: Age Of Ultron" Launched The 'Hulk' Into Space ?

"Avengers: Age Of Ultron" director Joss Whedon has shot down rumors concerning the ending of his new film, with 'The Hulk' banished into space, setting up a stand-alone adventure based on Marvel's "Planet Hulk".

Superhero "Lucy" - August 8, 2014

IMAX Corporation, Universal Pictures (a division of Comcast Corp.) and EuropaCorp have confirmed that "Lucy", the new superhero thriller from Luc Besson, starring Scarlett Johansson and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman, will be digitally re-mastered into the 'immersive' IMAX format and released into IMAX theatres in select international territories starting August 8, 2014.

Sneak Peek more new footage from "The Flash" TV pilot, directed by David Nutter of "Band Of Brothers" fame.

The show is a spin-off to "Arrow", existing in the same live action comic book universe.
