'Lois Lane' Is In "Vogue"

Take another look @ revealing images of 5-times Oscar nominated actress Amy Adams aka 'Lois Lane' in "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice", plus video footage of Adams from the December 2014 issue of "Vogue" magazine, photographed by Annie Leibovitz:

During her interview for the magazine, Adams was in Detroit, reprising her role as 'Lois Lane' in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", filming night-scene exteriors in a helicopter.

"Ant-Man" and 'The 'Wasp'

Actress Evangeline Lilly playing Marvel Comics' 'Hope Van Dyne' in Marvel Studios' "Ant-Man", provides some updates about her character and her superhero parents in anticipation of her becoming a modern-day version of 'The Wasp':

Lilly is signed for several 'Marvel Cinematic Universe' films.

"I was raised by two superheroes," said Lilly about her character, "so, I'm a pretty screwed up human being.

"I am also fairly capable, strong, and kick-ass, which is wonderful to play, but the most fun to play was just how messed up she was from being raised by two superheroes. 

"And the clear message sent by name is that I'm not a big fan of my father and so I took my mother's name."

Kate Mara Is "InStyle"

Sneak Peek new images of  "Fantastic Four" actress Kate Mara aka 'Sue Storm' the 'Invisible Woman',  in a recent issue of "InStyle" magazine:

The older sister of actress Rooney Mara, Kate Mara starred in "House of Cards" as 'Zoe Barnes" and appeared in "24" as computer analyst 'Shari Rothenberg'.

She made her film debut in 1999 with "Random Hearts", followed by "Brokeback Mountain" and "We Are Marshall".

Mara filmed "Shooter" in 2007.

She filmed "Transsiberian" in 2008, "Stone of Destiny" in 2008 and "The Open Road" in 2009.

Mara also co-starred in the TV series "House Of Cards".

"Captain America" vs "The Shield"

'The Shield' was a patriotic comic book superhero created by "Mlj" (now "Archie Comics"), appearing almost a year and a half before 'Captain America'.

DC Entertainment now owns the Shield property and other Mlj characters and will roll them into their DC Universe line of superhero characters, giving some star-spangled competition to Marvel's 'Steve Rogers':

The Shield first appeared in Mlj's "Pep Comics" #1 (Jan. 1940), created by writer Harry Shorten and illustrator Irv Novick, debuting as the comic book industry's first patriotically themed hero. 

"He was soon followed by three other patriotic comic characters, "Minute-Man" (Feb. 1941), "Captain America" (March 1941), and "Captain Battle" (May 1941).

The Shield is chemist 'Joe Higgins', son of 'Lieutenant Tom Higgins' who was slain in an explosion orchestrated by Third Reich saboteur 'Hans Fritz', while Tom was working on a chemical formula for super-strength.

Krysten Ritter Strikes A Pose

Take another look @ "Breaking Bad" actress Krysten Ritter, recently cast as Marvel TV's "Jessica Jones" posing for photo spreads in both "Maxim" and "Esquire" magazines.

In a recent interview, Ritter explained about her full-frontal nude scene in a notorious early episode of "Don't Trust the B in Apt 23". 

Although she played the scene in the nude, her body was blurred strategically by the network censors.

"I was dancing in a rap video" she said about the scene. "I wasn’t going to find anything flashier, so I was down for it...

"But on the day I was supposed to actually be naked...in front of all the crew guys. 

"You catch them looking and you’re like, No!...

"But I got a 'Mystic Tan'...

"...so that made me feel less naked..."

"Beowulf" The Mini-Series

"Jurassic World": Raptors In Your Face

Take another look @ footage from director Colin Trevorrow's "Jurassic World", plus check out the illustrated 'dinosaur park' brochures used as props during filming:

The brochures also reveal that NBC's "The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon, will appear in the new film, introducing a welcome video @ the 'Gyrosphere' to all visitors to 'Isla Nubla'.

"Jurassic World" is being directed by Colin Trevorrow.

Screenplay is written by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, set 22 years after the events of the first film.

What if...producers considered a "Spider-Girl" movie, showcasing 'Gwen Stacy' aka Marvel Comics' "Spider-Gwen", alongside other 'Spidey' clones and hybrids ? :

"Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" - 'Cyborg'

Take another look @ the origins of DC Comics' 'Victor Stone' aka 'Cyborg' (Ray Fisher), who appears in director Zack Snyder's "Man Of Steel" sequel, "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice":

'Cyborg' was created by writer Marv Wolfman and illustrator George Pérez, debuting as a 'special insert' in "DC Comics Presents" #26 (October 1980). In 2011, Cyborg was established as a founding member of the "Justice League".

In the comic book origin story, Victor is the son of scientists 'Silas' and 'Elinore Stone', who use the young man as a test subject for 'intelligence enhancement' projects.

As the treatments begin to take effect, Victor's Iq grows to genius-levels, but he resents further treatment, striking up a friendship with 'Ron Evers', a young rebel who leads him into trouble with the law.
