More Footage From Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar"

Sneak Peek more new footage and images from "The Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan's new science fiction feature "Interstellar", starring Matthew McConaughey and Jessica Chastain.

The new film will "...travel the globe to bring to the screen the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered 'wormhole' to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

  

"'Interstellar' details the toll climate change has taken on agriculture, with corn the last crop to be cultivated.

"The scientists embark on a journey through a worm hole into other dimensions in search of somewhere other crops can be grown...".

"Guardians Of The Galaxy": 'Thanos' Revealed

Sneak Peek your first look @ the super-villain  'Thanos' from Marvel Studios' "Guardians Of The Galaxy":

In the new film, actor Josh Brolin ("Sin City: A Dame To Kill For") voices the character.

Thanos debuted in Marvel Comics' "Iron Man" #55 (Feb. 1973), created by writer-artist Jim Starlin. The character has since appeared in 40 years of Marvel Comics continuity as well as in a dedicated, self-titled series.

Thanos was born on Titan, a moon of the planet Saturn, to 'Mentor' and 'Sui-San'. Due to a genetic quirk, Thanos is born with the 'Deviant' gene and as such resembles the 'Deviants' — the cousin race of the 'Eternals' — more than his own people.

Maturing to adulthood, and via the use of bionics and mysticism, Thanos augmented his abilities to become the most powerful of the Titanian-born Eternals, and is often referred to as the 'Mad Titan'.

"Howard The Duck": Trapped In A World He Never Made

Sneak Peek new images from the 'post-credits' scene during Marvel Studios' "Guardians Of The Galaxy", with a cameo from Marvel Comics' cigar-smoking, three-foot-tall anthropomorphic 'Howard The Duck', previously adapted to the big screen by Lucasfilm and currently in development @ Disney for further opportunities:

In the 1970's, Disney originally threatened Marvel with litigation due to Howard's satiric resemblance to 'Donald Duck', forcing Marvel to redesign the character.

Howard's near-constant companion and occasional girlfriend is former art model and Cleveland native 'Beverly Switzler'. Howard found himself on Earth due to a shift in the 'Cosmic Axis' from a world similar to Earth.

"Howard the Duck" debuted in Marvel's "Adventure into Fear" #19 in 1973, and by 1976 was given his own title. George Lucas then produced a live-action version in 1986, with music by John Barry.

"Gotham" Chills With 'Mr. Freeze'

According to "Gotham" executive producer Danny Cannon, the 'Batman' super-villain 'Mr. Freeze' will appear on the new series.

"...about the villains in this show...they need to be very credible and relatable and the science behind them needs to be real," said Cannon, "so I had a couple of stories that I'd held onto - real, true stories - and one of them just related to 'Mr Freeze'. I know a real way to create an origin story."

Other 'Batman' comic book villains including 'Edward "The Riddler" Nygma', 'Selina "Catwoman" Kyle', 'Harvey "Two-Face" Dent', 'Oswald "The Penguin" Cobblepot' and 'Ivy "Poison Ivy' Pepper.

Mr. Freeze has been a favorite comic book character to adapt for live-action, having been played by George Sanders, Otto Preminger and Eli Wallach in the 1966 "Batman" TV series, and by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the feature "Batmanb & Robin" (1997).

Harrison Ford Back On His Feet - Part 2

Sneak Peek new images of actor Harrison Ford, who fractured a bone in his left leg after a hydraulic door on a mock-up of the spaceship 'Millennium Falcon' crushed him while filming a scene in "Star Wars: Episode VII", without his leg cast in Santa Monica as he makes his way along an airport runway to catch a plane:

Producers of director J.J. Abrams' film have been reorganizing the schedule to shift the remaining scenes of 'Han Solo' until later in the shoot.

The film is on schedule for a December 18, 2015 release date.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Lucasfilm and Bad Robot Productions, to be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

In the 1940's, Schomburg freelanced for Timely Comics, the forerunner of Marvel...

...displaying his talent for 'slam-bang' action tableau, featuring 'Captain America', the 'Sub-Mariner' and the 'Human Torch'...

...filling every square inch with flamboyant characters, flames, guns, explosions and pretty girls.

So who is Wildcat ?

"The Flash" Monkeys Around With 'Gorilla Grodd'

According to VancouverFilm.Net, 'Gorilla Grodd', another classic 1950's DC Comics' super-villain will appear during Season 1 of  The CW's "Arrow" spin-off, "The Flash":

'Gorilla Grodd' debuted in DC Comics "Flash" #106 (April–May 1959), created by writer John Broome and illustrator Carmine Infantino.

"...originally an average ape, 'Grodd' was imbued with super-intelligence by the pilot of an alien spaceship, that crashed in his homeland of Africa. Grodd's psionic abilities allow him to place other beings under his mental control.

"Gotham": 'Poison Ivy' Revealed

Take another look @ images and footage from the Fox 'Batman' prequel TV series "Gotham", including a Sneak Peek of  teenage 'Ivy Pepper', who will become the super-villain 'Poison Ivy':

Created by Bruno Heller, the new series is based on characters published by DC Comics...

...specifically 'Detective James Gordon' and young 'Bruce Wayne'.

As originally conceived the series follows Gordon's early days on the 'Gotham City Police' force.

Origin stories of Batman villains will include 'Catwoman'...
