"Deadpool 2" Production Update

According to VancouverFilm.Net, the Fox sequel "Deadpool 2" is now back in production, as of August 16, 2017, 2 days after stunt driver Joi Harris died in her first on-camera stunt, riding a motorcycle in downtown Vancouver:

Harris had performed the stunt successfully several times in rehearsal. But reportedly was not given a helmet to wear during shooting.

"A coroner attended the scene and an investigation is underway with The Vancouver Police Department and WorkSafeBC which is also investigating this incident," said the The British Colombia Coroners office.

"We tragically lost a member of our crew while filming 'Deadpool'," said actor Ryan Reynolds.

"We're heartbroken, shocked and devastated, but recognize that nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment. My heart pours out to them -- along with each and every person she touched in this world..."

"Justice League" - 'Batman' Talks

Actor Ben Affleck has explained the motivations behind his 'Batman' in the upcoming feature "Justice League", following his portrayal of the 'Caped Crusader' in "Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice":

"'Bvs' departed a little bit from the traditional 'Batman'," said Affleck.

"He started out with all this rage directed at 'Superman', because of his co-workers who had died in the fight Superman had with 'Zod'. 

"He was holding on to a lot of anger, in a little bit of an irrational way, whereas this is a much more traditional Batman.

Emma Watson Covers "Elle"

Take a look @ images of  actress Emma Watson in a recent issue of "Elle" (UK) fashion magazine, photographed by Kerry Hallihan:

Watson rose to prominence playing 'Hermione Granger' in the "Harry Potter" film series starting at the age of nine, having previously acted only in school plays. She starred in all eight "Harry Potter", earning her several awards and millions of dollars.

Watson made her modelling debut for "Burberry's" autumn/winter campaign in 2009. Her film credits include "Ballet Shoes" (2007), "The Tale of Despereaux" (2008), "My Week with Marilyn"(2011) and "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" (2012).

"Deadpool 2" - Stunt Driver Killed- Production Shut Down

According to VancouverFilm.Net, a female stunt driver, filming a motorcycle sequence was killed in downtown Vancouver, during the shooting of Deapool 2", in what seems to be a weekly death toll for stunt performers, following the death of a professional stuntman last month on the set of "The Walking Dead":

The incident is being investigated by the Vancouver Police Dept and 'WorkSafeBC'. The British Columbia Coroner’s Service is also investigating.

"We have opened an investigation", said a spokesman. "We have a mandate to prevent future deaths..."

According to eyewitnesses, the crew was filming the woman riding the motorcycle at high speed down a set of stairs at the 'Vancouver Convention Centre', stopping at the street. On the last attempt, she crossed the street and swerved to avoid pedestrians, losing control and crashing through a building window at the 'Shaw Tower' near 'Jack Poole Plaza' in Vancouver.
