Sneak Peek Mad Magazine's classic 1954 "Archie" parody "Starchie", by Harvey Kurtzman and Will Elder, on the news that producer Greg Berlanti of "Arrow" fame, will develop the series "Riverdale", using "Archie Comics" characters , with "...a twisted 'Twin Peaks' influence...", plus take a look @ the original "Riverdale" TV pilot :

"Imagine if 'Riverdale' was like 'Twin Peaks'," said Aguirre-Sacasa, "and was a really weird small town...

Enter Marvel's "Agent Carter"

According to Marvel, actress Lyndsy Fonseca ("Kick-Ass") will join the cast of  "Agent Carter", the upcoming action TV series inspired by the features "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", that will air as bridge programming when "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." goes on mid-season hiatus:

Fonseca will play 'Angie Martinelli', an aspiring actress who becomes a friend of 'Agent Peggy Carter' (Hayley Atwell).

The older sister of actress Rooney Mara, Kate Mara starred in "House of Cards" as 'Zoe Barnes" and appeared in "24" as computer analyst 'Shari Rothenberg'.

She made her film debut in 1999 with "Random Hearts", followed by "Brokeback Mountain" and "We Are Marshall".

"The Walking Dead: Slabtown"

"Slabtown" is the title of the fourth episode of Season 5 of AMC's ultra-violent 'zombie' drama series "The Walking Dead", written by Matthew Negrete and directed by Michael E. Satrazemis, airing November 2, 2014, featuring the return of the character 'Beth Greene' (Emily Kinney):

"...in the episode 'Slabtown', 'Beth Greene' (Kinney) wakes up to find herself in a locked hospital room, with an IV attached to her arm..."

The character 'Beth Greene', created by former series showrunner Glen Mazzara, debuted in the Season 2 episode of "The Walking Dead", titled "Bloodletting".

Sneak Peek actor, motion capture artist Andy Serkis, reportedly playing Marvel Comics'  'Ulysses Klaw', arch-enemy of the 'Black Panther', from director Joss Whedon's upcoming Marvel Studios' feature "Avengers: Age of Ultron":

"The Walking Dead": Enter Lauren Cohan

Take another look @ revealing images of  Brit actress Lauren Cohan, who plays 'Maggie', a human survivor on AMC's ultra-violent 'zombie' TV series "The Walking Dead":

Cohan's major movie acting debut was the 2005 film "Casanova" as 'Sister Beatrice'. 

In 2006, she starred in the sequel to "National Lampoon's Van Wilder", titled "National Lampoon's Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj" playing the role of 'Charlotte Higginson'. 

Her next role was in the 2007 film "Float". 

February 2010 she was cast in "Death Race 2".

Cohan was then cast in Season Three of "Supernatural" as 'Bela Talbot', a thief, appearing in six episodes.

Cohan is also noted for playing the recurring character 'Rose', a 500 year old vampire in "The Vampire Diaries".

Cohan was then cast in the second season of AMC's "The Walking Dead" in the recurring role of 'Maggie Greene'.

She was promoted to the main cast in Season 3 and is a major part of the new season. »

...before being revealed as 'Ultron-5', the living automaton.
