She unveiled the ad today in person outside Macy’s flagship store in New York’s Herald Square — where fur coats are still sold.

In an exclusive video interview, del Castillo reveals why she stripped down for the cause: “They’re still killing animals for fur. There’s a lot of work to do, and that motivates me,” she says. “You don’t need to wear fur to be beautiful. It’s not the moment to be silent. I think we have to go naked, go bold.”

Renal Support Network welcomed many stars from the Los Angeles area to its 8th Annual “Beat The Odds Celebrity Charity Bingo & Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament”.

“Beat the Odds” was a fun-filled day that offered great prizes, a silent auction, a dinner, great desserts, and a chance to mingle and compete against stars from various genres of the entertainment industry. This year the Texas Hold’Em winners were: Harvey Wells-1st Place, Dean Ronalds-2nd Place, and Jimmy Delle Valle-3rd Place.

“When living with kidney disease you must be strategic and learn your best options to survive. Poker is very similar. Can’t believe this is my second win. It’s so much fun. I’m thrilled to support the cause, especially the Renal Teen Prom,” said Harvey Wells.

Jimmy Buffett To Play Free Charity Concert In St Barths On December 27

Is there a “Buffett” on your Bucket List? If the answer is yes, find a way to get to St. Barths where the island’s favorite songster Jimmy Buffett will stage a free benefit concert on Wednesday, December 27.

Buffett has a decades long love affair with the island, and several songs were inspired by his time there including One Particular Harbor, Au Tour de Rocher and Cheeseburger in Paradise. In the days after Hurricane Irma passed over the island he joined Wimco Villas in purchasing essential supplies in the Us, flying them to St Barths via Tradewind Aviation, and distributing them to residents and first responders.

SAG Awards Post-Awards Gala To Honor Actors' Charitable Endeavors

Time Inc.’s People and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (Eif) will partner once again to co-host the official SAG Awards Post-Show Gala, held immediately following the 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in Los Angeles on a transformed Shrine Auditorium stage.

This is the 22nd year that People and Eif have united on the Gala, which honors the charitable efforts of actors in their communities and make an annual donation to the SAG-aftra Foundation.

The 24th Annual SAG Awards, hosted by Kristen Bell, will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 8 p.m. Et / 5 p.m. Pt. Spotlight: Annie Lennox's Charity Work

Annie Lennox has come a long way since fronting the Grammy Award-winning Eurythmics in the 1980s. Since then she has become a successful solo artist, sold more than 80 million records, and become renowned for her charity work with organizations such as Amnesty International, Greenpeace, and Nelson Mandela’s 46664 Foundation.

The singer, who received the British Red Cross' Services to Humanity Award in 2008, dedicates much of her time to raising awareness of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa.

Lennox released a special fundraising single called Sing, which featured a 23-member choir of female celebrities, including Madonna, Faith Hill, Pink, and many more. Proceeds from the single went to the Treatment Action Campaign (Tac), an organization that that provides much needed support in the continent’s struggle against the deadly virus.

The Anniversary Honorary Award of the National German Sustainability Awards was presented to Annie Lennox during a ceremony in Düsseldorf on December 8th.

“Our honorary awardees are icons of social and environmental commitment,” says Stefan Schulze-Hausmann, founder of the award. “They promote the idea of sustainability by reaching out to people’s hearts. Among them, Annie Lennox plays an extraordinary role; her commitment and passion are simply unique.”
