13 Reasons to Be Outraged at The Hateful Eight's Oscar Snub

Oscar nominations have been out for weeks, and it's time to pick them apart. One of the biggest snubs of the year, and one I'm personally shocked about, is the nearly complete absence of The Hateful Eight in the main categories. It might not be Quentin Tarantino's greatest film, but it's every bit as good as Django Unchained, which was nominated for five Academy Awards and won two. The story follows a bounty hunter (Kurt Russell) and his prisoner (Jennifer Jason Leigh) who find themselves trapped at Minnie's Haberdashery, a small cabin filled with mysterious characters. The movie is so grand that it even has an intermission! Read on to find out why The Hateful Eight's snub is so tragic. »

To celebrate the most fabulous woman in Panem - and Banks's birthday this week - here are the 20 reasons Effie is effing awesome. »

How Sex and the City Helped Me Through My First Big Breakup

"I deserve better than this." I was already crying. I wasn't even looking at him. I mean, I couldn't even bring myself to look at him. Instead, I sat and stared at the sunset, wondering how we'd ended up here. Underneath the sound of my pounding heart, I thought about how this was so some stupid movie scene from some stupid romantic comedy. Sitting by a fountain on a college campus, one boy breaking up with another boy as the sun dips below the horizon on another day. The sky was fiery red. The end of a day, the end of a relationship. Inside, I scoffed. Outside, I kept talking out loud. "I deserve someone who loves me and wants to be with me." More tears. The platitudes kept coming out of me. I couldn't really stop them, but I also didn't want to stop them. I wasn't really saying them to John. »

By now, you've probably seen Taylor Swift's mesmerizingly beautiful music video for "Out of the Woods," but now she's explaining how the whole thing went down. The singer is certainly known for her intricate concepts, but this has to be one of her wildest yet. Aside from slumping through mud and fake snow, the whole thing was shot on an incredibly photogenic island in New Zealand. See the full behind-the-scenes video above and then check out her beautiful rendition of the song when she performed it live. »

It's Ok to Keep Watching Beyoncé's "Formation" Music Video Over and Over Again

Just a day before hitting the stage at Super Bowl 50, Beyoncé dropped a new song called "Formation" out of nowhere. But that's not all! Along with the song, she also released a new music video exclusively to Tidal with a cameo from her adorable daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, and we must say, it's fire! Just take a minute to review the lyrics: "Y'all haters corny with that Illuminati mess/Paparazzi catch my fly and my cocky fresh/I'm so reckless when I rock my Givenchy dress." In addition to featuring explicit lyrics, the video, which was directed by Beyoncé and shot in New Orleans, takes on black culture and police brutality with a handful of powerful images, including a cop car, a police line, a Southern plantation home, and a shot of graffiti on a wall that reads, "Stop shooting us." Watch the video above now! »

No Big Deal, but Tom Hiddleston Is Really Naked in This Trailer

Tom Hiddleston is in the building. And by that, I mean he lives in a very, very tall building in the trailer for High-Rise. It's one of many of 2016's films based on a book, having been adapted from a J.G. Ballard novel. Hiddleston plays Dr. Robert Laing, one of the many residents of a posh building. Things spin out of control, and it's hard to tell what's really going on. The trippy-looking film also stars Sienna Miller, Elisabeth Moss, Jeremy Irons, and Luke Evans. It doesn't have a Us release date yet, but let's keep our fingers crossed! Here's the teaser: »

If You're Still Reeling From The Bachelor, You Need to Read Olivia's Response

Love her, or just love to hate her, Olivia has made this season of The Bachelor totally worth watching. Mega spoiler alert if you haven't seen the latest episode, but Ben finally sent her home . . . right after she told him that she loved him. And by "sent her home" I mean "left her on a small island to swim her way back to the mainland." It was the best cut since Farmer Chris flew away in a helicopter, leaving Ashley and Kelsey on a bed in the desert. In any case, Olivia (last name Caridi) at least has enough of a sense of humor to tweet about her heartbreak. Ugh. Remake of "He's Just Not That Into You" -- The Bachelor Edition - Olivia Caridi (@OliviaCaridi) February 9, 2016 Let's remember Olivia forever, with this Gif of her best moment from her final episode. »
