See Lindsay Lohan as a Princess on SNL's Real Housewives of Disney

4 March 2012 10:43 AM, PST

Did you ever wonder what happened to the likes of Cinderella, Rapunzel, Belle, and the rest of the Disney princesses after the movie credits rolled? SNL gives us a peek into what happens after the happily ever after with Real Housewives of Disney, the latest in Bravo's hit series. As you can imagine, the ladies don't exactly have the glamorous lives you'd expect (apparently Aladdin isn't as princely as he set out to be.) And just like the rest of the Housewives series, there's drinking, fighting, and drama to spare. Watch as host Lindsay Lohan plays Rapunzel alongside the rest of SNL's leading ladies. To see the clip, just read more. »

What's Your Favorite Dr. Seuss Story?

2 March 2012 2:30 PM, PST

The Lorax comes to life in theaters this weekend, after stories like The Cat in the Hat and Horton Hears a Who! have already been turned into sweet family films. Reading Dr. Seuss books is an elementary school rite of passage, but Dr. Seuss has a surprising amount to say that's applicable to a more adult bunch. (I can't even remember how many copies of Oh, the Places You'll Go! I received as a graduation gift.) What's even more special about today is that the release of the highly anticipated animated tale coincides with what would have been the late author's birthday. So in order to celebrate Dr. Seuss and The Lorax's premiere, we want your input. Time to share your favorite Dr. Seuss story, so add your title to the comments! »

Jon Hamm Talks About His Mad Men Injuries

2 March 2012 10:47 AM, PST

The Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce offices may seem like a safe place to work, but apparently it's not all fun and games on the set of Mad Men. Jon Hamm sat down with David Letterman this week, and he revealed some pretty horrifying injuries he's sustained while working on the show - and how costar Elisabeth Moss has made some of his accidents even more painful. »

The Office, "Test the Store": Best Lines of the Night

2 March 2012 7:56 AM, PST

In this week's episode of The Office, the Florida crew is putting the final touches on the Sabre store, and Dwight is in charge of the whole operation. This looks like his big chance to shine, so he puts on a big extravagant presentation to impress Nellie and become VP. Back in Scranton, Andy is embarrassed after getting a pretty humiliating injury, and Toby puts on a self-defense class to provide everyone with appropriate education. Tonight's episode of The Office may have been my favorite of season eight. Jim and Dwight were awesome supporting each other; I loved the quality Creed and Kevin action; and Erin building "hype" as a hipster was absolutely hysterical. But now that Dwight has landed this big promotion, I am really curious about how things are going to unfold. A few key plot developments that didn't feel too rushed, plus a ton of funny lines, »

Buzz Time Machine: Christopher Plummer Serenades the Von Trapp Kids

2 March 2012 5:30 AM, PST

Long before Christopher Plummer took home the Oscar for best supporting actor in Beginners, he stole our hearts as the Naval officer Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music in 1959. Watch a handsome and sweet Christopher Plummer serenade all seven of his kids before they head to bed with the lullaby "Edelweiss." I can't help but love the way Julie Andrews looks at him in this video. »

Frankenweenie Trailer: A Very Tim Burton Black and White Flick

2 March 2012 3:05 AM, PST

If you're a Tim Burton fan, I have got great news for you. The Frankenweenie trailer has officially come to life! After the young budding scientist Victor's beloved dog passes away, he brings good old Sparky back to life, and mayhem ensues. Re-imagined from his 1984 live-action short, this stop-motion flick oozes all things creepy, artistic, and utterly Tim Burton. I love that just like the original short, all of Frankenweenie is in black and white - only perpetuating the freaky retro vibe. And along with other big names like Catherine O'Hara, Martin Short, and Martin Landau, I was so happy to see that Winona Ryder lends her voice for the film, as she's a staple of a couple of my fave Tim Burton films from the past. Check out Frankenweenie's creepy goodness, after the jump. »

Pilot Scoop: Awake

1 March 2012 1:45 PM, PST

It may seem like we're heading into the homestretch of TV season, but a few midseason shows are still making their way out of the starting gate. One of those new series is Awake, which focuses on a man who finds himself living in two different realities after a tragic car accident. Before you check out the premiere tonight, here's what you're in for. What it's about: Jason Isaacs (who looks quite different without his platinum-blond Lucius Malfoy Harry Potter wig) stars as Michael Britten, a man who has lost either his wife or his son in a car accident. The confusion is that he's leading two different lives: one in which his wife is alive but his son has died, and the other in which the opposite is true. When he goes to sleep at night, he is able to live the other reality - a conundrum that his »

Bernie Trailer: Jack Black Is Still Funny as a Murder Suspect

1 March 2012 12:30 PM, PST

In a small Texan town, Bernie Tiede (Jack Black) is an assistant funeral director, revered as one of the community's most kind and loved folks. He becomes friends with Marjorie Nugent (Shirley MacLaine), who is an affluent older widow known around town for being a serious sourpuss. At first everyone appreciates Bernie's help, but as Marjorie becomes increasingly dependent, Bernie struggles to keep up with her demands. After months of not seeing Marjorie around, the town learns that she has been dead for some time. The kicker? Bernie - "the nicest fella in town" - is being charged with her murder. Jack Black is one of my favorite fixtures in comedy, and I can see how he steps up to the plate for this film. I also can't turn down anything with some solid Matthew McConaughey; he plays a cowboy-like character in the film who wants to bring Bernie down. »
