This week on Raising Asia, it’s Asia’s big debut performance of her new single at Planet Hollywood. Things are a bit tense (but when aren’t they?) because Shawn has to fly to Dallas for work and miss Asia’s performance. He makes sure to remind Billy what they talked about beforehand about him possibly losing his manager position. If this Planet Hollywood performance isn’t perfect then, it’ll be the last performance he’ll work on with Asia. Adding to what seems to be a never-ending battle between Anthony and Billy, Anthony comes up right before the show with some great news. He … Continue reading →

ABC To Celebrate Schoolhouse Rock With Primetime Special

Just in case you finally got the words from Conjunction Junction and I’m Just a Bill out of your head, ABC is bringing beloved Schoolhouse Rock songs to TV in a one-night-only primetime special. The alphabet network announced yesterday that the special The ABC’s Of Schoolhouse Rock, will even dare to countdown the 5 best songs from the cartoon series. I think it’s preposterous to even try to rank them, it’s like picking your favorite child. But I had to choose, here’s my vote for #1. (I’ve always wondered if the voice of the boy is the same kid who … Continue reading →

The Last Ship Season 1 finale recap: The Dog Returns

25 August 2014 10:00 AM, PDT

It’s season finale time in the plague-ridden world of The Last Ship. The penultimate episode saw Dr. Rachel Scott officially test the vaccine on something other than monkeys and although it didn’t go well at first, the end result was something that not only inoculated the test subjects, but cured them of the infection entirely. It also tracked the progress of the Chandler family and we saw Captain Tom’s wife unceremoniously infect her entire family, apparently not recognizing the symptoms of the disease that has killed everyone they once knew. That leaves this final episode with the task of mass … Continue reading →
