Sammo Hung Is Back “Action Director” – Monkey King 2

Sammo Hung is one of the greatest Kung Fu stars/choreographers in the history of world cinema, whether he is in front or behind the camera Sammo always gives 100% and this time it’s no different. The Monkey King 2, a sequel to the 2014 box office hit stars Aaron Kwok, Gong Li, Feng Shaofeng and Xiaoshenyang and will see the return of Director Cheang Pou-soi.

The Monkey King 2 will be shot in 3D and will be released in February 2016, in time for Chinese New year. The movie has a budget of Hk$530 million, but without Donnie Yen in the lead role will the movie be as successful as the first outing? time will tell.

“The Baby from Universe” Films with Zhang Ziyi and Exo’s Lay

Since rocketing to worldwide fame after starring in the highly-acclaimed “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” Zhang Ziyi has steadily filled her portfolio not only with multi-awarded acting roles–the most memorable perhaps being Mei (“House of Flying Daggers”) and Sakamoto Chiyo (“Memoirs of a Geisha”)–but also some magnificent producer credits.

Zhang’s first produced film, “Sophie’s Revenge,” may have gotten mixed reviews from critics but went on to bag a handful of awards, including Best New Director from China Film Media Awards and Next Generation Director Awards, Best Supporting Actress from China Hua Ding Film Awards, and Most Popular Actress from China Student Film Awards for Zhang herself.

Helios – (Trailer) In Cinemas April 30th

Helios is the upcoming movie directed by Leung Lok-Man/Sunny Luk and stars Jacky Cheung, Nick Cheung and Chang Chen. Helios is a Action/Thriller about a wanted criminal who has weapons of mass destruction.

The action choreographer for the movie is veteran Chin Kar Lok, who has worked on many movies over the years (In-front and behind the camera), such as Millionaire’s Express, Dragons Forever, Eastern Condors, Operation Scorpio and many more. Helios has a Hk$200 million budget and is being released by many companies, one being Media Asia Films.

Plot:

5 Awesome End Fight Scenes – Part 4

What we lack more and more these days are epic fight scenes in the final part of kung Fu/Martial Art movies. We have seen less and less one on one fight scenes in the final battle over the past 15-20 years, which is a shame but we have seen recently a few flicks bringing that winning formula back.

I want to name a few of my favorite end fight scenes and please feel free to comment below, your favorite fight scenes and maybe they will be added to the future features. I only add fight scenes which i can find the clips for on youtube, so some classics might not be added to the lists.
