Violence, humor, and blood in Kick-Ass 2 red-band trailer

It’s the sequel that nobody expected but Kick-Ass 2 offers more of what made the first movie a surprise box office hit, with the extra addition of a dog on your… well, you’ll just have to see the trailer for yourself.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloe Grace Moretz are back as Kick-Ass and Hit Girl, former Red Mist Christopher Mintz-Plasse has transformed himself into the Motherf**ker, and Jim Carrey joins the party as bat-swinging Colonel Stars and Stripes to bring us another adventure of costumed heroes and villains operating in the ‘real’ world.
Kick-Ass was a good film but Chloe Grace Moretz’s Hit Girl was what really made the movie great, in my opinion, so it’s very nice to see that nothing has really changed between her and Taylor-Johnson during the first few minutes of the trailer. He’s still a lame guy trying to do »

Man of Steel and Lois Lane on Total Film cover

Just in case the trailer didn’t clue you in to the fact that this Superman story will be something quite different than earlier versions of the popular DC Comics hero, the statement on the cover about it being time for a change should drive the point home.
Cavill is definitely showing he has the physical qualities to be the last son of Krypton in this image, with his jaw looking tough enough to stop a bullet all by itself, and Amy Adams’ Lois Lane appears to be channeling the no-nonsense, chase-a-story-no-matter-what attitude she’s known for.
