Will tonight’s Revenge will finally reveal the identity of the person viewers saw dead at the bottom of the ocean earlier this season? Absolutely. In fact, Gabriel Mann promises, “it will be hard to miss.”
“It sets us up on a crash course to the rest of the season,” he says of the episode, titled “Sacrifice.” “It certainly re-ups the revenge games that have been going on in a completely different way….It’s a mother of an episode, for sure.”
Tonight’s explosive hour, which finds the Graysons throwing their annual Labor Day bash, comes smack in the »

'Hannibal' first NBC trailer revealed -- Exclusive
16 February 2013 12:14 PM, PST
Nom-nom-nom, Dr. Hannibal Lecter is back.
Below is the first trailer for NBC’s upcoming drama series that takes on the most popular non-supernatural serial killer in American movie history. This is a cool short tease. The clip includes one of the most darkly playful exchanges from showrunner Bryan Fuller’s pilot script — FBI profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy): “I don’t find you that interesting.” Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen): “You will.” Also, like the Hannibal title font.
This trailer makes its on-air debut tonight during Saturday Night Live (Django Unchained star Christoph Waltz is the host). The thriller will premiere Thursday, »

She’s signed on to star in Assistance, which is officially described as a fast-moving comedy centered on Nora (Ritter), a “magnetic, hyperactive workaholic, with a sex appeal directly proportional to her anxiety level. TLC's yummy sand eating addiction video
15 February 2013 4:14 PM, PST
TLC’s My Strange Addiction has previously chronicled people who are addicted to coffee enemas, butt injections, licking cats and drinking substances such as nail polish, urine and gasoline. There was even a woman who was addicted to eating her dead husband’s ashes (yikes).
But there’s something about the show’s next addiction — sand eating — that gets your attention. Maybe you can resist watching this exclusive clip. I couldn’t. What follows is almost a spoof of an addiction show. I’m not vouching for its authenticity, only for its crunchy entertainment value. This episode airs Wednesday, Feb. »

Does him being a member of The Five, or something having to do with Silas, negate the ring’s power? »

Why did 'Cops' blur a Chihuahua's face?
15 February 2013 12:10 PM, PST
Naked bodies, naked bodies, whatcha gonna do? You’re gonna blur them, that’s what! Cops post producer Mitsuo Goto is the man who keeps this 25-seasons-old Fox docuseries (mostly) respectable with the magic of pixelation. Here, the cover-up artist — who’s been with Cops since season 7 — talks about the types of imagery that require his attention, how much butt crack he can show, and the strangest thing he’s ever had to obscure.
What does he blur?
Whatever Fox’s standards-and-practices department deems unacceptable, which is usually nudity and overly graphic wounds. For legal reasons, license plates, credit-card info, »

'Community' dives during Valentine's ratings bloodbath
15 February 2013 8:28 AM, PST
Valentine’s Day is a notoriously tough night for broadcast.
Yet the V-Day dip (with overall TV viewing levels down about 6 percent for the night) can’t fully explain what happened to NBC’s Community.
You’ll recall last week’s premiere posted impressively decent ratings given the comedy’s track record (and NBC’s recent track record, for that matter). But Thursday’s second episode fell through the floor – 2.7 million viewers and a 1.1 rating among adults 18-49. That’s down 42 percent from last week to post the show’s lowest-rating ever in the demo. Given your comments on the ratings post for the premiere, »

Miss America, Atlantic City’s prodigal pageant, is coming home, and the spectacle that became synonymous with the New Jersey seaside resort is being assured all is forgiven after a six-year fling in Las Vegas.

'Hannibal' finally gets premiere date
14 February 2013 4:46 PM, PST
Ready to make a reservation for NBC’s Hannibal?
The serial killer thriller will premiere Thursday, April 4 at 10 p.m.
The time slot is a bit of a surprise. One would expect given NBC’s recent drama struggles that the Bryan Fuller series would at least have its premiere stunted behind The Voice this spring, a strategy that’s really helped another freshman drama, Revolution. This particular time slot just saw the short-lived Do No Harm do a ratings face-plant. Then again, a dark crime drama about a killer cannibal and the family friendly reality series aren’t exactly hugely compatible anyway. »
