Nom-nom-nom, Dr. Hannibal Lecter is back.
Below is the first trailer for NBC’s upcoming drama series that takes on the most popular non-supernatural serial killer in American movie history. This is a cool short tease. The clip includes one of the most darkly playful exchanges from showrunner Bryan Fuller’s pilot script — FBI profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy): “I don’t find you that interesting.” Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen): “You will.” Also, like the Hannibal title font.

'iCarly' star joins Christina Ricci's sitcom pilot

Former iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove is headed to NBC.
The 19-year-old actress, who recently finished her role on the long-running Nickelodeon series, has signed on to Christina Ricci’s comedy pilot Girlfriend in a Coma.
The comedy is about a woman (Ricci) who wakes after a nearly two-decade-long coma to discover she has a 17-year-old daughter (Cosgrove) from a pregnancy she was unaware of. The show is based on the novel by Douglas Coupland.
Cosgrove was on Nick’s top-rated iCarly for seven years. The Dick Wolf-produced sitcom is being piloted for series consideration for next season. »

Sarah Michelle Gellar to co-star with Robin Williams in CBS pilot

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams. On TV. Together.
This is now a possibility.
Gellar is set to co-star in the CBS pilot Crazy Ones, a single-cam comedy about a father (Williams) and daughter who run an advertising agency together. The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star will play Sydney Roberts, the intense and driven daughter of Williams’s Simon Roberts.
Gellar last headlined CW’s one-season drama Ringer, a role that was billed as her post-Buffy return to television and was part of the 2011-2012 TV season.

TLC’s My Strange Addiction has previously chronicled people who are addicted to coffee enemas, butt injections, licking cats and drinking substances such as nail polish, urine and gasoline. There was even a woman who was addicted to eating her dead husband’s ashes (yikes).

Minnie Driver to co-star in 'About a Boy' pilot

Minnie Driver could be headed back to TV.
The actress has joined a pilot Parenthood creator Jason Katims’s forthcoming pilot, About a Boy, based off the book by Nick Hornby.
She will co-star alongside David Walton (New Girl) on the project, playing Fiona, eccentric mother to Marcus, a boy who develops a friendship with an immature bachelor (Walton) neighbor.
In the 2002 movie adaptation, the role was played by Toni Collette, who co-starred in the film with Hugh Grant.

Felicity Huffman cast as housewife assassin in TV pilot

Felicity Huffman’s new housewife is far from desperate.
The Emmy-winning actress has been cast as a suburban assassin in the Fox pilot Boomerang.
The show is about family that works as a hit squad for U.S. government. She’ll play the show’s female lead, Margie, the matriarch of the Hamilton clan, a “briskly professional assassin who can kill and dispose of a suspected terrorist in the afternoon — then switch to wife and mother mode without a hitch.”

The time slot is a bit of a surprise. One would expect given NBC’s recent drama struggles that the Bryan Fuller series would at least have its premiere stunted behind The Voice this spring, a strategy that’s really helped another freshman drama, Revolution. This particular time slot just saw the short-lived Do No Harm do a ratings face-plant.
