In any case, what do these two films have to offer? Keep reading to find out everything you need to know!

Haider is Vishal Bhardwaj’s third approach to Shakespeare’s work after Maqbool (2003) and Omkara (2006). An adaptation of Hamlet, the director takes the story to the snow-covered valleys of Kashmir. One of the biggest appeals of the film is the cast, »

“Each Character In Roar Is Independent, With Their Own Unique Storyline” – Abis Rizvi

30 September 2014 9:36 AM, PDT

Most films have a run-of-the-mill cast- a hero, a heroine and of course, the big bad villain. But when producer Abis Rizvi and director Kamal Sadanah decided to make a film, they knew it shouldn’t be a ‘typical’ Bollywood movie.

The film Roar: Tigers Of The Sundarbans has definitely succeeded in breaking free from stereotypes. Exotic locales filled with danger, the mighty Sundarbans tiger playing an important role, complete with an ensemble cast has made Roar a force to reckon with. “When we started ideating for Roar, we knew it had to be different. Casting for the film was as difficult as shooting for the film itself. We wanted to ensure that each character is independent and had an interesting back story.” says producer Abis Rizvi. Agrees Kamal,”We had more than 600 auditions to narrow down our cast, and we didn’t rest until we knew we found the right fit for each role. »

“‘Kaminey’ could have been the title of ‘Tamanchey'” – Nikhil Dwivedi

30 September 2014 8:04 AM, PDT

If Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj wouldn’t have staked their claim over Kaminey, Kaminey 2 and more, Nikhil Dwivedi would have certainly wanted that title for his Tamanchey. Reason being that he is pretty much playing the kind of character that the expletive suggests. Moreover, with his partner-in-crime (well, literally) Richa Chadha not being far behind in making sure that her characterization is on the same lines as his, there was a common consensus amongst one and all that Kaminey – in any permutation or combination – was just the right fit for Tamanchey.

“If Kaminey wouldn’t have already been used, we could have well have called our film one. Perhaps, even ‘Do Kaminey’ would have been just the right fit,” winks Nikhil, who is arriving on the big screen after a hiatus.

He goes on to explain his fascination behind the term ‘kaminey’.

“See, we have always seen love stories of good people on screen. »

How Hrithik-Katrina’s Bang Bang turned into 140 crore affair

30 September 2014 6:08 AM, PDT

It is now confirmed, and comes straight from the horse’s mouth. Fox Star Studios has produced Bang Bang for a whopping budget of 140 crore (including Prints & Advertising, hence giving it the status of one of the costliest films ever made in Bollywood.

Here is the complete lowdown of what contributed to it, and whether a lesser cost would have at all been justified.

- Bang Bang has Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, two of the biggest superstars of the country, in the lead. No prizes for guessing that they are also two of the highest paid actors in the country. A good chunk of moolah goes there.

- From Day One, the Usp of some never-seen-before action is being widely spoken about in not just the industry circles but also audiences. A promise has been made that Bollywood would witness something unique. Assurance comes from the fact that Hollywood »

Nargis Fakhri reveals her secret skills for the #BangBangDare

30 September 2014 12:14 AM, PDT

The #BangBangDare concept which is a fun way for Hrithik Roshan to promote his next movie Bang Bang is working very well!

His latest dare went to the lovely Nargis Fakhri, who made Bollywood dance to her sexy item number ‘Yaar Na Miley’ next to Salman Khan in Kick, last Summer.

Nargis was born in New-York in Queens & she has openly talked about the way she used to live there on Koffee With Karan.

Nargis met the American rapper 50 Cent while she was shooting for her Hollywood project in Europe a few months ago. Already there, one could see her excitement and huge love for rap. So no wonder she got so happy when Hrithik dared her to sing a “rap”.

Even tho she had to attend the GQ Awards, the actress recorded that 2 minutes video backstage and let’s say the truth … She Rocked It!
