Avengers: Infinity War Will Kill Off Some Major Superheroes

With Avengers: Infinity War still in production, it remains to be seen when the first footage will surface, but Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has teased that not all of your favorite Marvel heroes will live to see Avengers 4. While promoting Spider-Man: Homecoming, which hits theaters on July 7, Kevin Feige was asked if there will be any McU heroes that will be killed off in Avengers: Infinity War, which is slated for release on May 4, 2018. Here's what the producer and studio head had to say below.

"Yes. We have another two years of hard work to even finish these movies, and they [the actors] have a lot of hard work to do, so that's all we're thinking about, is completing those and delivering on the promise of those. Where it goes beyond that, we'll see."

The producer's statement comes from an interview with JoBlo to promote Spider-Man: Homecoming. While the producer and »

Wonder Woman Continues to Reign Passing $300 Million Domestically

Wonder Woman has had quite the summer. Initial projections looked good, but nobody was expecting it to break records. The Patty Jenkins directed movie has since gone on to beat Dceu's Man of Steel, which stopped at $291 million domestically and has now broken the record as the biggest box office earnings for a female directed live-action movie while also earning over $300 million at the domestic box office as reported by BoxOfficeMojo. Wonder Woman is still holding up at the domestic box office, currently holding over $318 million as of this writing so beating Batman v Superman as well as Suicide Squad could very well happen before the movie ends its theatrical run. Maybe some moviegoers did actually end up buying the Wonder Woman Golden Ticket after all.

Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot and was a hit straight from the start, raking in more than $100 million domestically in the first weekend alone, »

Mark Hamill Finally Gets a Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Star Wars actor Mark Hamill is apparently "speechless" after finally receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Many fans of Star Wars and Hamill had already assumed that he had a star, but in fact he did not and the same goes for the late Carrie Fisher. When Fisher passed away in December fans made up their own star for the actress best know for portraying Princess Leia. In addition to playing Luke Skywalker, Hamill is also known for supplying the voice of the Joker in the DC Animated Universe as well as the wildly popular Arkham series of video games.

After news spread of Hamill receiving the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the actor Tweeted a simple hashtag that read "speechless." Hamill is a pop culture icon and has recently gone back to his Star Wars roots to have a small role in 2015's The »

Jar Jar Binks Really Wants to Be in the Han Solo Movie

Last week, LucasFilm made the jaw-dropping announcement that directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller will no longer be at the helm of Han Solo: A Star Wars Story, with just three weeks left of production. Just a few days later, Ron Howard was confirmed to step in and take their place, and today a new parody video reveals that one of the most hated characters in the Star Wars universe, Jar Jar Binks, wants to use this opportunity of a new director stepping in to put him in the movie and start a comeback for the character. Thankfully, this is only a parody, and it will not likely happen for real.

Funny or Die debuted a new video that features an individual disguised through a silhouette that is calling for the return for Jar Jar Binks in the new Han Solo Star Wars movie. Most discerning fans will realize right »

Transformers 5 Wins the Weekend Box Office with $45.3M

Paramount rolled out its fifth Transformers movie this weekend, and while it came out on top at the box office, it did so with the lowest opening in franchise history. Transformers: The Last Knight won its first box office weekend with an estimated $45.3 million. Its five-day opening, after debuting on Wednesday, June 21, comes in at $69 million, which itself is just below the $70.5 million three day opening for the first Transformers movie, which opened in theaters almost exactly 10 years ago.

Box Office Mojo reports that the fifth Transformers movie earned a solid $11,133 per-screen average from 4,069 theaters, but much like its predecessors, the movie suffered with critics, earning just a 15% rating from the critics at Rotten Tomatoes. Still, this entire franchise has proven to be "critic-proof, with each movie earning a "Rotten" rating, while it has also proven its mettle in the overseas market. The movie has performed much better in international markets, »

Woody's Toy Story Polio Backstory Debunked as Fake News

Disney's Toy Story series is already dark enough as it is, but it got a lot darker when a toy designer claimed to have inside information about the fate of Andy's father. The Toy Story franchise is massively popular, grossing nearly $2 billion worldwide, and setting box office records while gaining critical praise along the way for tackling childhood in a realistic and somewhat depressing manner. Many fans have wondered over the years why Andy was raised by a single mother and where his dad is with many speculating that his parents had just gotten a divorce.

SuperCarlinBrothers' YouTube channel posted a video last week that claimed to have the answer that everybody has been waiting for in regards to Andy's father. Mike Mozart, a toy consultant on Toy Story and artist claims that he got the inside scoop from the late Joe Ranft who co-wrote Toy Story and »

Transformers: The Last Knight Opens to Franchise-Low with $69.1M

As of this writing, Transformers: The Last Knight, the fifth installment in the Transformers series directed by Michael Bay looks to bring in $69.1 million domestically. The movie may make its initial tracking projection of $70 million by the end of the day, which would still make it the lowest grossing Transformers opening for the franchise in it's 10-year history. The first installment of the series earned $70.5 million back in 2007 and was the highest grossing non-sequel movie of 2007., topping the box office in 10 countries.

Variety is reporting that Transformers: The Last Knight is performing well overseas much like other summer blockbusters like The Mummy so it may end up turning a profit after recouping its $217 million budget. The Last Knight made $41 million on opening day in China alone, making the projected end of the weekend box office at somewhere around $196.2 million, which is definitely nothing to scoff at. The movie comes at »

Leaked Justice League Footage Details Tease Superman's Return?

The early Justice League footage and trailer have not shown Superman for obvious reasons. We're all supposed to believe that he died at the end Batman v Superman and we do, but we also know that Dceu hasn't milked that cow enough yet. Plus he can be seen in the Justice League promo art that leaked less than a month ago. Now word on the street is that the next trailer for Justice League will for sure feature the return of the one and only Superman.

The rumor comes to us from Dceu Leaks, a popular subreddit. The reddit user Dcvmarvel claims that his sources on Twitter (very reliable, the best sources, not sad) are telling him that Superman will be in the next Justice League trailer and gave him an idea of what the upcoming trailer will look like. Though knowledge of the trailer may be available now, it »

Wonder Woman Gets Drafted by the Harlem Globetrotters

The world famous Harlem Globetrotters exhibition basketball team held their annual draft and have selected Gal Gadot, aka Wonder Woman as their number 4 draft pick. Not only is Gal Gadot in the highest grossing live-action movie by a female, but she's also now an honorary Globetrotter. The draft goes out of it's way each year to add professional athletes and in this case a very famous actress who at 5' 10" played high school basketball before going on to portray Wonder Woman.

Only some of the Harlem Globetrotter's draft is meant to draft "serious" players while the remaining picks are meant to be symbolic. Other honorary members drafted this year are former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow and New York Yankees star Arron Judge. The Globetrotters took to social media to announce their number 4 draft pick of Gal Godot from Israel. The Globetrotters continued: "She's not just Wonder Woman... at 5' 10, Gadot »

You ready to get back on stage, pitches? Good, because the first trailer for Pitch Perfect 3 has arrived, and it looks like it is going to be just what fans of the franchise are hoping for. Universal is making it seem like this is going to be the last installment, at least featuring the cast you've come to know and love, so you'd better get ready to spend some quality time with the Bellas this Christmas, and probably laugh a little bit as well.

Universal Pictures unveiled the first trailer for Pitch Perfect 3 as part of their VidCon presentation and, lucky for the majority of those who want to see this movie who aren't at the event, the studio decided to put the trailer online as well. Given that the sequel has a release pegged for December 22, 2017, the timing seems right to get buzz going for this movie. »

Han Solo Star's Performance Compared to Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura

24 June 2017 12:31 PM, PDT

Was young Han Solo going to be styled after Ace Ventura? It has been reported that Chris Miller and Phil Lord were let go from Han Solo: A Star Wars Story for creative differences, a term that is thrown around quite a bit in Hollywood and the music industry. Usually creative differences is a polite way of saying something far more sinister happened behind the scenes, but in this case, creative differences seems to actually be what drove the directing duo apart from Lucasfilm and Disney and as it turns out, part of the cast as well. Sources close to the project say that Miller and Lord were approaching the character of Han Solo in a more comedic approach, which didn't sit right with many people, specifically young Han Solo himself, Alden Ehrenreich.

Inside sources close to the project revealed to Star Wars News Net that Alden Ehrenreich voiced his »

24 June 2017 12:10 PM, PDT

Official press screenings are starting to take place for Spider-Man: Homecoming, and along with very positive early reviews, it has been revealed that the upcoming movie will have two post-credit scenes. The news comes after the announcement that Sony's Homecoming will be the first installment of a Spider-Man trilogy that will more than likely feature a new Marvel superhero in each remaining installment, since Robert Downey Jr. only signed a one-movie contract with Sony and their new Spider-Man franchise.

A screening of Spider-Man: Homecoming happened last night In New York City and CombicBook.com was in attendance. They confirmed that there are indeed, two post-credit scenes worth sticking around for when the movie officially hits theaters next month. Marvel is no stranger to the post-credit scene, and while two may seem like a pretty big deal, it pales in comparison to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2's five post-credit scenes. »

Mariah Carey's Diva Behavior Got Her Booted from Will Ferrell's The House

24 June 2017 11:56 AM, PDT

Mariah Carey was supposed to make a cameo as herself in Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler's new comedy The House, but apparently the pop star took the role a little too literally and was too much like her diva self. The movie revolves around two parents portrayed by Ferrell and Poehler who start an underground casino in their basement to try and raise money to pay for their daughter's college tuition. Things turned ugly when Mariah Carey showed up on set.

Will Ferrell was recently on The Late Show With Seth Myers to promote The House and he discussed Mariah Carey's involvement (or lack thereof ) with the movie. Will Ferrell alludes to certain demands by the pop star that apparently were not met either on or off set. Ferrell had this to say.

"There were suggestions that weren't executed. She was on our set and, um, things happened. »

First Look at Peter Dinklage as Fantasy Island Star Herve Villechaize

24 June 2017 11:10 AM, PDT

HBO isn't afraid to take some risks and do some pretty weird things in terms of original programming, and this totally proves it. Their upcoming original movie, My Dinner With Herv&#233, is going to center on Herv&#233 Villechaize, once the most famous dwarf in the world, as played by Peter Dinklage, who is arguably the most famous dwarf in the world now. HBO has released the first photo from My Dinner With Herv&#233, and it looks appropriately strange.

The premium cable network released the image from My Dinner with Herve today, giving us our first look at the Game of Thrones star as Herv&#233 Villechaize. The image also features Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan hanging out in a white car, which looks like it could be filled with cocaine. In truth, with Peter Dinklage's get up, which is appropriately flashy in a very 90s way, one would »

Super Mario Bros. Comes to Life in Pokemon Go Inspired Video

24 June 2017 10:23 AM, PDT

One coder has recreated the first level of Nintendo's classic Super Mario Bros. in augmented reality and it's amazing. Microsoft's HoloLens augmented reality headset isn't super popular yet, some people may have never heard of it at all, but augmented reality technology is rapidly getting better and soon it will be everywhere. While this isn't the first time that a coder has developed an unsanctioned Mario augmented reality port for HoloLens, it's the only first-person version and it looks a lot cooler than the other versions seen so far.

28-year old Coder Abhishek Singh built the instantly recognizable level 1-1 of Super Mario Bros., giving himself a first-person view of the game, all in a three-dimensional landscape. The video has been uploaded to Singh's YouTube channel and it shows him dressed up like Mario with overalls, a red shirt, and white gloves before giving a demonstration of his augmented reality game. »

Mission: Impossible 6 Set Photos Reunite Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames

23 June 2017 5:17 PM, PDT

As production continues on Mission: Impossible 6, writer-director Christopher McQuarrie has shared yet another photo from the set, reuniting the franchise's two longtime stars, Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames. The photo features both stars wearing large black coats, each holding up six fingers, signifying the amount of Mission: Impossible movies they have each done. While these movies often have a cast that is continually evolving, both Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames are the only two actors who have been on board for each and every movie.

The photo surfaced on Christopher McQuarrie's Instagram today, along with another shot that features a close-up of one of the cameras he's using, with what appears to be a military helicopter in the background. The director would not divulge further details about either shot, but we've gotten plenty of photos from the director since filming started back in April. It has not been »

Tranformers 5 Scores Huge Opening Day Box Office in China

23 June 2017 4:51 PM, PDT

While Paramount's Transformers 5 just suffered its worst opening day in franchise history, there may be a silver lining because it's looking to open huge in China. The action-packed sequel directed by Michael Bay has pulled in $41 million on its opening day Friday in China, and when factoring in Thursday sneak previews, the first-day gross is at $47 million. That figure is far below the domestic opening day tally of $15.5 million, a franchise low, and the $23 million two-day tally from Wednesday and Thursday combined. This huge debut in China could certainly mean that Transformers: The Last Knight will follow in the box office footsteps of its predecessor, 2014's Transformers: Age of Extinction, which had a franchise low domestic total but flourished overseas, particularly in China.

Variety reports that Transformers: The Last Knight represented 89% of the entire Chinese market in its opening day, according to the Chinese box office tracking service China Box Office. »

Bumblebee to Become a Vw Bug in 80s Set Transformers Spin-Off?

23 June 2017 4:42 PM, PDT

The recently announced Transformers spin-off Bumblebee will be set in the 1980s and it appears as though the popular Transformer may be getting back to his roots with the classic Volkswagen Bug. The Bumblebee spin-off will give fans of the Autobot a peak into what his life is like without Optimus Prime, which is a good choice because Mr. Prime doesn't seem to be bringing too many viewers into the theaters these days. The spin-off is already getting comparisons to The Iron Giant which is definitely a good thing, especially when compared to the last few Michael Bay directed Transformer movies.

Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss the Bumblebee spin-off. After talking about the movie taking place in the 1980s, Bonaventura revealed that Bumblebee might possibly be going back to his roots. He says this.

"You might even see a Vw Bug. You never know. »

Han Solo Star Is Responsible for Getting Directors Fired?

23 June 2017 4:23 PM, PDT

The story of the young Han Solo movie continues to unravel from behind-the-scenes. In case you only just now woke up from a brief coma, or haven't had internet for a few days, directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were recently fired from directing the upcoming Star Wars movie, just three weeks before principal photography was set to wrap. Ron Howard has been hired to finish the movie, which will include several weeks of reshoots. Kathleen Kennedy and the directing duo were clashing for a long time and things eventually came to a head. Interestingly enough, it looks like Alden Ehrenreich, the man tasked with playing the iconic smuggler, was actually the first one to voice his concerns.

Fan site Star Wars News Net recently published a pretty lengthy, in-depth piece about the Han Solo movie drama. Much of it has been more or less confirmed by other sources, but »
